The SpaceThe Guest House is well appointed with a comfortable living area including a kitchen which has granite counter tops and a dishwasher and everything you need to make a true Louisiana meal. We have strived to have special thoughtful touches, such as locally made soaps in the bathroom as well as little treats in the kitchen. The bed is reported as being very comfortable and the bathroom reflects a spa feel. Guest AccessIn addition to the Guest House you will have access to the patio between the Guest House and our home and the rest of the yard with the pergola and gardens. You also may use the room that is off the garage where our laundry is located. Interaction with GuestsWe are available to you and we will interact with you as much or as little as you like. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is filled with historic homes, many including ours, featured on the Holiday Home Tour last year. We are in easy walking distance of the historic downtown, there are frequently events such as wonderful free concerts at our trailhead or river landing. Our community is a pretty friendly place where folks will take the time to talk with you. Getting AroundYou can walk to many places in town and travel by car to other interesting places. We are just 40 minutes from New Orleans over the Causeway Bridge.
