Guest Accessyou are welcome to use the fire pit situated next to the farmstand to hang out or cook out. Interaction with GuestsI am no longer lived in that house but very close by. The best way to reach me is by email as the cellphone reception in the area is very bad. The apartment is all set up for you to come without having me to be there at your arrival or departure. I am more then happy to come and meet you if you request it or if you need assistance or anything else. The NeighborhoodCraftsbury is a small but very dynamic community with very friendly people. In town, we have the Craftsbury General Store, The Sterling College, the Art house, The Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Pete's Greens, etc. All those organizations make this small village very awesome place to live or visit. Other Things to Notesomething to consider is that the apartment is situated on a farm and everything starts early morning. Tractors and trucks might be coming and going early morning in some days, sometimes around 7am. Also, cellphone reception is not working around craftsbury.

Located in Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom, our circa 1850 farmhouse is an oasis of hand-hewn charm and modern comfort high above the noise and worries of everyday life. Except for a nearby sugar house, we're the only place on a secluded dirt road and are surrounded by over 21 acres of fields & forest, peace & quiet (the nearest neighbor is over 1/2 mile away). However, the road is maintained year-round and the farmstead is only 1.2 miles from Vermont Route 14-- giving easy access to all the Northeast Kingdom has to offer. The Wells Farmstead is truly a four-season paradise. Spring brings maple syrup from the sugar house just out back, along with apple blossoms and lilac festivals. In summertime, there are nearby lakes for recreation, sculling in Craftsbury, trails for hiking, farmer's markets in nearby villages and hunting for antiques. The fall is ripe with gorgeous colors, apples and wood smoke during crisp evenings. In winter, the Craftsbury Nordic Center offers renowned cross country trails, while downhill skiers will find Stowe, Smuggler's Notch, Jay Peak, Burke, Sugarbush or Mad River Glen from 45 to 90 minutes from the farm! If you are interested in food and craft brewing, you'll find Hill Farmstead Brewery, Jasper Hill Farm, Pete's Greens and Hardwick ('the town that food saved') just minutes away. For rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation, no matter the season, come home to Wells Farmstead in Craftsbury, Vermont!
