Hi, I am an Australian 26 year old living in Perth, Western Australia. My house is a 2 bedroom plus study in the northern suburbs of Perth. I live with my partner Anthony who is a plumber by occupation. I work for a Japanese oil & gas company and am currently also part-time at university studying a Japanese major. Our house is located 10 minutes from the beach, walking distance to the local shops and also a larger shopping complex, and a 5 min bus ride to the train station which connects you directly to a university campus about 10 minutes from our house. Local library and leisure centre (where you can play indoor sports, use gym and swimming pool) is 5 minutes driving time away. My partner and I are mixed backgrounds, I was born in Perth, he was born in England. We are both social, friendly people and would be happy to include our student/guest in our weekend social plans. We would prefer to host a Japanese guest, as I would like the opportunity to further develop my language skills, and also assist somone in doing the same.

Pleanty of room for parking on the property . A Larg park with leafy gum trees right next door and a Golf courses just 10 mins away. A 15 min walk from the accommodation to Whitford City which offers 276 speciality stores. Train station 20 min walk or take a bus which runs every 30 min for a 20 min train ride to Perth City or Northbridge for the night life. Hillarys Marina/Sorrento Quay is 15min by car or 25min by bike where you can swim, shop, dine and sail to Rottnest Island. Enjoy the experience of The Swan Valley Food and Wine Trail - a 32km scenic loop taking in more than 150 wineries, lively breweries, fine restaurants, bustling cafés, distilleries, shops, accommodation outlets and roadside stalls selling fresh produce. And the Valley is only 20 mins car ride away. And out the front door and two min walk the local shops has a new Medical centre, chemist, super market. Pub for a cold beer and large serving of good food. A Boogie board is supplied to enjoy the beach. Guest details filled in on arrival and a sighting of your Driver licence or Pass port is required.

    The SpaceThis 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is our family home and you get to experience the beautiful Perth lifestyle with city and beach life whilst we are away. The house features 2 living areas - one with TV, one with fireplace, dining area, open plan kitchen, separate laundry, family bathroom, the baby nursery with cot and changetable and the toddler room with a single bed. The master bedroom has a waterbed, its own ensuite and is located at the front of the house. Outside you are spoilt for choice: you can hang out at the pool, have a glass of wine under the gazebo at the front or play ball at the back. A patio stretches along one side of the house with a large outdoor lounge and dining area. Guest AccessThe entire house is yours whilst we are away on holiday. Interaction with GuestsIf you need help, we are available by phone and email and our lovely neighbours will be there to assist if you need a helping hand. Getting AroundThe house is situated in a quiet street opposite a park with playground, yet only 2 minutes walking to the next bus stop - taking you to Whitfords train station or straight to one of the beautiful beaches. We are only 5 minutes drive from the Freeway and train line. This is Perths main route into the city which will take you between 15 to 35 minutes by car or 18 minutes by train. 10 minutes north of us is Joondalup with a large major shopping centre or just a few minutes down the road is Whitford shopping centre. Due to the proximity of the bus and train services, you don't need a car if you are staying at our house. For trips to and from the airport we can recommend Uber - they are more reliable and cheaper than Perth taxis. Other Things to NoteWe would only ask you to look after our 14-year old indoor cat. She is very friendly and sleeps for most of the day.

      The SpaceWalk into this renovated house and have access to the bedroom with queen bed, wi-fi, pool, bar, kitchen, lounge room/television and laundry. In this comfortable neat room that sleeps two people, storage in the wardrobe is possible and sightseeing information has been made available. Just down the hallway the bathroom offers a shower/bath, towels, hairdryer, shampoo and soap etc. The property offers a refreshing swimming pool and funky outside bar where you can relax in the sun or shade and enjoy your breakfast before you start your day sightseeing. I live in the main bedroom at the front of the house so you will be sharing the kitchen and laundry with me. Your bathroom and bedroom will be all yours. The NeighborhoodThe house is in prime location only a 5-10 minute walk to a huge shopping centre open 7 days a week and only a 15 minute stroll to the beach (or use the bicycles that I have to offer). Perth's northern beaches are some of the best and are a must see to walk along, swim and just sit and listen to the waves crash overlooking the sunset. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and the people are friendly. The iconic Hillarys Boat Harbour is very close. Perth City is only a short drive down the highway or easily/quickly catch the train heading south where you can enjoy a great nightlife between Tuesday's and Saturday nights. Joondalup City is only a quick train ride heading north. Fremantle can be easily visited via the train also. Getting AroundMany bus stops are located within a few minutes of the house. The train station can also be walked to or quickly take a bus to the train station. This train station will take you north or south towards the City Centre. There is parking space available on the driveway for guests with wheels. The main shopping centre can be walked to in 5-10 minutes and the beach only 15 minutes. Other Things to NoteThere are two bicycles which guests are welcome to use.
