The Somerville Auditorium is an open air film venue which screens from the beginning of December through to the beginning of April and is not to be missed. The Swan River, Kings Park, Pelican Point for windsurfing, kite surfing, paddle boarding or paddle board yoga is also within a short walk. Getting AroundWe are a few metres from regular bus services to the city, Fremantle and many other popular areas. The SpaceWe have a one-of-a-kind house that offers family an amazing holiday experience in Perth. Beautifully renovated, it features 4 bedrooms that sleeps 7. There are also two fold out beds if you need them. There are three bathrooms, two living areas, three outdoor entertaining areas and a superb gourmet kitchen. This is a haven for kids. There's an enormous pool, trampoline, climbing wall, cubby house. If you want we can leave toys and sporting equipment out for your children to enjoy. Our neighbourhood is one the best in Perth. The street is quiet - it is next door to a school playground, tennis court and playing fields - but it's walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops, hairdressers and banks. The best part is you can get up in the morning and stroll down the river. If you're lucky you'll see dolphins or you could try your hand at paddle boarding. Interaction with GuestsWe will not be able to meet and greet but will be accessible by phone or mobile. We will have a local neighbour meet you. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is known for its large blocks, leafy streets and friendly neighbours. This is definitely a family friendly place to be. I am passionate about Perth's developing café and small bar scene and am keen to share my secrets. The NeighborhoodCrawley is a beautiful suburb of Perth, Western Australia, 6km west of the CBD. It is home to the University of Western Australia, Matilda Bay, the Crawley Edge Boatshed, and the Eliza statue which is often dressed up sneakily in the middle of the night to represent special occasions. It is located in the Western Suburbs which is a considered a “wealthy" area of Perth. You are right around the corner from some great areas for food, shopping, beaching and picnic-ing. The gorgeous Swan River is almost on your doorstep, with Kings Park tucked around the corner. Getting AroundMy apartment has a parking bay, however there is plenty of public transport available in the area, many buses go east/west up stirling hwy from fremantle to the city. There are also buses that leave from the street behind me on Broadway. Another great way to get around in Perth is on bike. Most places are accessible via bike paths, I ride to the other side of the city to popular nightlife spots in Mount Lawley in 25 minutes in heels and a dress. My apartment is 10 minutes (6km) drive out of the city, 15mins (8km) to the famous Cottesloe Beach, 26 mins (15km) to Fremantle and 30 mins from Perth Airport. Uber is my new favourite way to get around for convenience especially for nights out, I can travel to most places central in perth for about $15.
