Easy Ferry ride to Circular Quay and the perfect vantage point to see the Sydney fireworks throughout the year! One of our guests said “views are better than most Sydney hotels!" THE APARTMENT The building has a small number of apartments in total. Your new neighbours are lovely. They all enjoy spending time at the beach and they are mature enough to avoid late nights and loud parties. THE BALCONY With complete panoramic views of Sydney's iconic landmarks including the Harbour Bridge and Opera House it is the perfect space for a coffee at breakfast or a wine at sunset. The city feels so close you can almost touch it. It's stunning! You may even get a visit from our friendly resident parrots who often like to say hello. Most weekends in spring & summer you can sit on the balcony (or on the lounge) and enjoy an amazing firework display. INTERNALLY We have furnished the apartment in an open, airy way and with the many windows we capture all of the sun that pours into the rooms throughout the day. You have scenic harbour views from the living area and kitchen and wake up each morning with views of the beautiful bay from your bedroom. There are two different eating areas - the dining table and an outdoor table and chairs on the balcony (where you'll probably spend most of your time). ENTERTAINMENT If you want to, you can sit inside and enjoy the view (or enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner on the balcony), watch the 42" TV (incl Netflix) and use the DVD player or you can walk to many of the Mosman cafe's and restaurants. Neutral Bay, Cremorne and Balmoral are just a 5 minute drive away with regular public transport to more restaurants, bars and a cinema. The ferry wharf is a short 4 minute walk away- Catch a beautiful 15 minute ferry ride and you will be in the city where you can watch some real life entertainment at any one of the bars, clubs or live band venues along with many shows and performances at the opera house or theatres. There is parking for 1 car available. TRANSPORT Once you arrive at The Mosman Bay HARBOURVIEW Apartment you probably won't want to leave. But should the need arise, there is a carpark available for you. There is a regular bus service that departs at the front door, and Mosman ferry wharf is just a 4 minute walk away should you wish to visit the city. Most things including great cafe's, convenience stores etc are within a 15 minute walking distance anyway. Otherwise we are available via phone or Airbnb for any questions you have or suggestions on things to do :) The NeighborhoodMosman is one of Sydney's most prestigious suburbs, but the locals all all very friendly. There are many beautiful harbour walks amongst the National Parks right on your doorstep for you to enjoy. There are plenty of places perfect for a picnic to enjoy our beautiful harbour or join the locals at Balmoral Beach and let the day drift by as you bathe in the sun. Taronga Zoo is just a 15 minute walk away (or an easy bus ride) or enjoy one of Mosman's many cafe's or restaurants. MANLY- SPIT WALK or CREMORNE POINT WALK While you're in the area, you must take some time to enjoy one of Mosman's best kept secrets- our beautiful harbour walks. There is a lovely (and easy) walk to Cremorne Point that starts right on your doorstep and takes in the most beautiful views of Sydney. If you are feeling more energetic, the Manly to the Spit walk is a great way to see some more of Sydney's best sights along the coast line. Just join the throngs of people making the pilgrimage every day. Getting AroundMosman is well located - close to Balmoral Beach, Taronga Zoo, and a short trip by car, bus or ferry to the city. There are frequent buses and ferries between Mosman and the city. Buses will also connect you to other places including Manly, Chatswood and North Sydney. FERRIES There are 2 ferry wharves less than a 5 minute stroll away which will take you to Circular Quay in just 15 minutes. This is a hub to enjoy more of the beautiful city or access trains and buses to visit surrounding areas. BUSES There is a bus stop right on your front door step. The local area is serviced by buses that will take you to other transport hubs including to the CBD (approx 25 minutes) or Manly (30 minutes). You can use the wireless internet to easily access the transport assistance by cal(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) from your phone and ask them for help or search 131500 on a search engine and you'll find a website showing all the timetables. You're not too far from anywhere! Other Things to NoteFREE BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE We want you to have a great time when you stay at our place. We like the idea of you sitting out on the balcony celebrating something and admiring the view. SAVING NATURE We are really thankful to live so close to the National Parks in Sydney harbour. One of the things that makes this area so special is the beautiful nature that we get to experience on our walks- it makes us realise that Sydney is unlike any other city in the world. There are many volunteers who work tirelessly to preserve our beautiful parks. Chances are that you've chosen our place partly because of the beautiful National Parks that surround us. So to thank the guys that look after the National Parks for us, 5% of everything that you pay to us will be given to them as a donation. Or just enjoy a short walk to sit at our Ferry Wharf enjoying a coffee from the little cafe there. Getting AroundGetting around is so easy from here, take a ferry into central Sydney where you can choose ferries to take you to Manly Beach, to Watsons Bay for lunch, or to visit Taronga Zoo. Otherwise catch the 225 bus which will take you up the road to cafe's, supermarkets, boutiques and transport connections to other places. Other Things to NoteIn addition to the wonderful foreshore walk right around Cremorne Point there is also McCallum Swimming Pool 7 minutes walk away. Its set right on the edge of the harbour - so swim and enjoy views of the Opera House at the same time. There are great Picnic areas in Cremorne Reserve, plenty of benches to sit and admire the views or read a book.

    The SpaceWelcome to “Kurraba Lookout” This is my apartment which I own and rent out. Originally it was rented to long term tenants, however it now gets rented out via airbnb only, and friends who visit me in Sydney. It is a freshly renovated studio apartment located in the quiet part of Neutral Bay on Kurraba Road. If you are looking for an alternative to a hotel room that will not cost you are fortune and will give you amazing water views and access to a pool overlooking the harbour as well as a park at the end of the street to sit by the water in pure tranquility then this is for you. The size of the apartment is about 37 square metres. It is a great apartment, however if you want a big big apartment then this may not be for you. I own this apartment and it is set up like a hotel room. Everything you need is in there. Iron/hairdryer/towels/linen + WI FI.. WI-FI is included. I hope you get to stay in it and experience the peace and quiet of this part of Neutral Bay/Kurraba Point. The best parts about my place and the area is that 1.It is a 2 minute walk to the ferry which takes you into the city (Circular Quay) 10min ferry ride 2.15 minute walk to Military Road Neutral Bay – all the shops you need are at Neutral Bay 3.10 minute walk to Kirribilli. It has less bars/restaurants than Neutral Bay 4.It is quiet and relaxing. Because the apartment is on a peninsula there isn’t any traffic apart from local traffic 5.It has water views of the harbor bridge and the harbor – east/west views 6.There are parks below my apartment block which face the Opera house. The apartment comes furnished with tv, dvd, lounge, (everything you see in the photos) as well as towels, sheets, plates, cutlery. Everything you need if you just walked in after getting off a plane. It has a bathroom (shower only, toilet, basin) The laundry room is in the basement. 5 washing machines and dryers. It also has a car space. In essence this apartment is the ideal place for a week or a month. I hope you like it. If you have any questions please let me know. Also, there is a corner store for basic items 2mins walk away There is a bottle shop, newsagent, mini-market at Clarke Road Neutral Bay. The balcony has a BBQ and dining setting virtually suspended over Mosman Bay, but both the dining and living areas also have panoramic harbour views. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, there is a harbour pool at the bottom of the garden, secure parking for 1 car, intercom, TV/stereo and Foxtel. The unit is whisper quiet. The bedroom has a queen bed, a wall of mirrored built in wardrobes and makes the most of this amazing position – wake up to the views of Mosman Bay with its ferries, yachts and water activity. Bathroom has a full separate bath. To add to the views, there is direct access to the Ferry Wharf below for the best commute to Sydney, buses also go to Mosman Cremorne and Neutral Bay with connections to the Northern Beaches and the North Shore, and there are shops and parks nearby. There are many quality restaurants clubs and pubs in the area, and wonderful walks. Live the best of Sydney Harbour life! The bathroom has a bath and shower. This is a great position. There are ferry services to the city and bus services close by, and there are bush and harbour walking tracks with easy access. Nearby are the schools, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, yacht clubs, pubs and shopping of the Mosman area, and yet it is absolutely quiet. Too good to miss.     The SpaceThe property is a charming 2 bedroom apartment with fabulous views of the harbour. With our recent renovation we've taken particular care with the quality of material and finishes. Highlights include the black bean hardwood timber floors, limestone bathroom and gourmet kitchen with African mahogany benchtops. The house sleeps 6 comfortably. The main King Size bedroom is gorgeous, with folding glass doors onto the verandah whilst the 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed, single bed and trundle. The carefully planned European kitchen is equipped with many extras to encourage you to exercise your culinary talents! The home has a very nice holiday feel to it, especially the large open verandah with expansive views of the passing sailboats and ferries. Guest AccessYou can enjoy unlimited wireless ADSL Broadband and Foxtel IQ (platinum package cable TV). The block of 5 apartments share a lovely, shady garden with BBQ area, right on the water's edge. Whilst we don't have a parking space, there is unrestricted on-street parking in our street. The NeighborhoodMosman has plenty of local attractions, including the world-famous Taronga Zoo, some of Sydney's best foreshore walks and the charming Mosman village with it's cafe culture, boutique outlets, galleries and superb restaurants. There are some of the best harbour beaches in Sydney here, most notably Balmoral Beach (a favourite spot for Sydney locals) and Clifton Gardens at Chowder Bay. Getting AroundPublic transport from Kalinda is a breeze. The ferry wharf to Circular Quay is metres away and gets you into Circular Quay, the heart of the CBD. It is a delightful 10 minute ride, offering the best views of Sydney's classic icons (Opera House, Harbour Bridge and City Skyline). Circular Quay is a public transport hub that will hook you up with the city's extensive bus, ferry, train and taxi services. There is a bus stop outside our front door and the bus coordinates with the ferry. There is a regular bus service up to Spit Junction, through the heart of Mosman Village. You could also splash out on a water taxi, that will shuttle you over to almost anywhere on the harbour you wish to go.

This is a beautiful spot overlooking Mosman Bay, Mosman Rowers and the Sydney Harbour skyline. The house is massive and is an opportunity to enjoy living in a spacious, clean and bright house rather than a hotel room. This listing is for the master bedroom, catering to one person only. The house has four bedrooms in total, three of which are occupied by full time housemates. There are two shared bathrooms. Guest AccessFeel free to use the kitchen, living room, BBQ area and laundry as needed. The fully equipped kitchen is open plan with a large breakfast island for dining and equipped with two refrigerators and lots of cupboard space. The sliding door opens up to another balcony and has a 10-12 seated outdoor dining table and BBQ. A perfect spot for an afternoon BBQ on our 4-burner stainless steel BBQ. The double side lounge area has a large plasma TV and state of the art entertainment system on one side and an entertaining area on the other which opens directly onto a sunny balcony overlooking jaw dropping, panoramic views of the most famous harbour in the world. Off the over-sized living room is the dining room with a designer 6 seater dining room table and off the other side is the study/library. Both are fully furnished and have amazing views. The separate laundry is fully equipped and we have outdoor clotheslines off the kitchen balcony. Beautiful Art Deco buildings surround this area, which gives it a unique European feel, different from other areas of Sydney. My favourite local places to eat and drink are Marcelle for breakfast, Pan Handle Bar for lunch and Wilbur's Place for dinner. For something a bit more fine dining Apollo, Cho Cho San or Billy Kwong's are all fantastic for food and wine. Getting AroundKings Cross train station is 10 to 15 mins walk. The 311 bus goes from outside the apartment to the city and takes about 15 mins. A cab to the city is about $10 to $15 or it takes about 20 mins on foot across the Botanical Gardens Other Things to NoteThere is no car park space with the apartment but there is a car share (rented by the hour) system called Goget ((website hidden)) if here for a few weeks and you need a car.

A 15 minute walk in the opposite direction brings you to the gates of the iconic Taronga Zoo which is a "must see" for any visitor to Sydney.
