This beautiful rental is a quiet, one-bedroom apartment with a lovely pastoral view of nearby Hinch Mountain. Situated on 6 acres, it has a large deck taking in the view of neighboring farms and sunsets that make you gasp.
Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, queen bed with linens, coffee maker, & WIFI. Eat inside at the breakfast counter or outside on the deck. The bedroom has a queen bed and sleeps two.
This is a second story rental with no handicapped access. While we love children, this is best suited for adults. Non-smoking and no pets please. This apartment is above a garage connected to the owner's home. We are quiet and keep to ourselves but are available should you have any needs or want more information.
Cumberland County and Crossville, the county seat, sit atop the beautiful Cumberland Plateau at an elevation of 1980 feet. Located in the “golf-capital of Tennessee”, there are numerous courses nearby. Just five minutes down the road is The Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain. This course was named "Top Ten Courses in Tennessee" by Golf Digest in 2001 and is one of the most sought-after sites among the Jack Nicklaus designed Bear Trace courses in Tennessee. Local hiking can be enjoyed at Cumberland Mountain State Park, Fall Creek Falls State Park to name a few. The Cumberland County Play House is a great source of entertainment for our area. Want to check out the annual 127 World’s Longest Yard Sale? This is the place to stay. Lakes and Rivers are also nearby for fishing and boating. Other things to check out are flea markets, scenic country roads, antique malls and shops, outlet malls, wineries, Big South Fork, Homestead Tower, Rugby historic community, the Mennonite community of Muddy Pond, scenic Grassy Cove, Ozone Falls, and Catoosa Wildlife Area. Day trips are easy to Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Dollywood, The Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, Knoxville and Chattanooga.
