Less experienced Airbnb users, please contact me, if you are interested in booking.
Minimum stay for "Instant Booking" is 4 - 7 nights. Someone interested in booking just a weekend should contact me a week or two before (not months before).
The flat is very comfortable for one person, or a couple visiting London for business, or leisure. It is also suitable for a pair of friends who need separate rooms, as there is a high quality pull-out John Lewis sofa bed, and a futon in the lounge.
The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed with a high-quality mattress. Nice clean 100% cotton sheets, and clean cotton towels will be provided. There is also a clothing rack with hangers, an iron, ironing board, a hairdryer, and even a few umbrellas.
The flat is the perfect choice for those who are looking for self-catering, or eating take-aways. You have also the choice of several great restaurants and pubs only minutes away, should you wish to eat out.
The lounge has got two windows, a feature fire place (not working), a foldaway dining table, and two sofas. If one is used as a sofabed and left open during your stay, the other can still be used as the seating area in the room.
The flat has got a laptop-friendly workspace, wireless internet, DVD player and flat screen television. Floors are oak laminate. The bathroom has a walk in shower. Soap, shampoo, body wash and toilet paper is available. Before checking in the flat has been cleaned to the highest standard.

... Interaction with GuestsMy guests will be taken to the flat, where they will get an introduction how everything works. (You'll be also given a written manual). After that I can be contacted by phone, email or text. I will be on hand should any problems occur.
... The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is friendly and welcoming. There are great local restaurants, pubs and cafes where you can unwind after your days' s tourist activities in the busy City Centre, which is only 10 minute tube ride away.
The closest park (Finsbury Park) is just minutes away, where you can walk, jog, play tennis, read a book, or have a picnic on a sunny day. Within walking distance there are public swimming pools, a lido (open only in summer time), two independent cinemas, a theatre, gyms, a bowling centre, banks etc. There are also two pharmacies, three mini cab offices, a post office and ATM cash points just minutes away.
The neighbourhood is quite safe, even after dark. There has never been a break in, as there is no access from a roof, a window, nor a garden.
(Punk legend Johnny Rotten from Sex Pistols and PiL grew up in Finsbury Park).

London is a big city and it is hard for visitors to come to grips where everything is. I will be happy to answer any questions.
I wish you a pleasant stay!
... Other Things to NoteNOTICE!
- For "Instant Bookings" you need minimum three positive reviews and the terms and conditions are that you have read the listing, and accepted the house rules. If you have any questions, please contact me.
***My listing is aimed purely for fellow travellers visiting London from abroad***
***I will not accept under 25 year olds visiting London for music festivals, or clubbing, unless you can prove to me that you are of a good character. (i.e. can provide references)***
Like in most properties in England, there is no lift, so guests must be able to climb stairs. For this reason my flat is not suitable for babies, toddlers or the elderly.
My flat is not available for same-day and next-day bookings. This is because I work full-time, and need enough notice to get the place ready, and to be able to organise the Check In.
I am listing this same property as a private room, or entire place. Please, note that it affects the calendar's availability.
Airbnb users without a proper full profile should tell me who they are. I need to feel comfortable with the people who stay in my apartment. It is always polite to introduce yourself.
There are a few things I will need to know to help me prepare for your arrival. This will also speed up the enquiry process.
What time do you plan on arriving?
Have you visited this neighbourhood before?
Are you travelling for work or holiday?
Are you travelling with anyone?
I generally host only guests who are visiting London for a short period, and are in need of a temporary accommodation, usually for a week or two.
A FEW TIPS FOR NEW AIRBNB USERS WITH NO, OR VERY FEW REVIEWS:
People with full profiles (including photos and verifications) will get preference. Bear in mind that you are booking someone's home, not a hotel room, so please do introduce yourselves. I welcome holiday makers and travellers from all over the world who understand and appreciate what Airbnb is about. If you are new to Airbnb, I am happy to help.
To help me to prepare for your arrival, please let me know: Are you travelling for work or holiday? What time do you plan on arriving? Are you travelling with someone? Have you visited this neighbourhood before?
I am unable to take bookings months in advance, and I usually also need a few days to get the place ready for guests.
Looking forward to hear from you!
