The SpaceThis charming three-bedroom guest house is located on a private 70-acre farm in a quiet country setting. Fully equipped kitchen, linens, satellite TV and WiFi and laundry, with amazing vistas of New Hampshire scenery. Open concept living / dining / kitchen with cathedral ceiling and amazing light. Dining area seats six or more comfortably. Kitchen is fully equipped, with gas stove and full-sized appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee machine. etc. First-floor bedroom has single bunk atop double bed, second-floor bedroom has queen bed and private balcony. First-floor sunroom has single bed. Spiral staircase winds to second-floor bedroom, and to third-floor lookout with beautiful views. Washer/dryer in first-floor bathroom, with fulll-sized tub/shower. Other amenities include: Linens and blankets Sheets and towels Soap and shampoo Outdoor grill Ample parking Private outdoor area for relaxing Guest AccessGuest house is within minutes of local skiing, boating, swimming, ziplining and hiking. Less than 10 minutes from Lake and Mount Sunapee. Terrific restaurants, pubs and quaint shops nearby. Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, hiking trails, horse trails and golfing within minutes of your door. Roughly 90 minutes from Boston, about 30 minutes from Dartmouth College/Hospital. Interaction with GuestsThe entire guest house is detached and private, with no neighbors on a private road. It's all yours! We live about 700 feet away, and are available for questions you might have during your stay. Other than that, we prefer to respect your privacy. The NeighborhoodEnjoy the seclusion and charm of 70 farmland acres, with the convenience of nearby activities and restaurants. All this, and less than 90 minutes to Boston! Getting AroundYou'll need a car, as there is no public transportation in rural New Hampshire. Other Things to NoteVerizon cell phone service is great; not too sure about other service carriers. Because we are a working farm, no pets are permitted on this property. Private events such as weddings, parties and gatherings are welcome, with the rental of additional areas located on the Farm: please contact us for more details. Due to our spiral staircase and farm animals, we can't permit children under the age of 12.

One hour from Killington, VT ski area, 20 minutes from on-track cross country skiing. Off-track ski and snow shoe right from your back door! No groomed trails. Over 80 miles of snow mobile trails in the area, free ice skating on the Common just minutes away, ice fishing on Lake Sunapee (license required). Fishing lake and rivers (license required). Golf is 10 minutes away. (Please note that we do not provide sporting equipment.) We are about 15 minutes from stores for food and etc. Interaction with GuestsPlease note that the washer & dryer are only included in long term rentals of one month or more. Verizon cell is fair service here, AT&T you can text but service is a might and a maybe. The NeighborhoodQuiet, serene, peaceful log home apartment in a New Hampshire woodland setting. Kitchen stocked with all the basics. Dish settings for 6, coffee pot, micro wave, toaster, pots, pans & cleaning materials. The stove & oven is gas. Bedrooms fully made with fresh sheets, pillows and large closets. Bathroom, we provide our own hand/body soap made here on the farm. We do not provide hair products. Fresh hand and shower towels. Living room/ dinning as in pics. Plenty of room for six. Getting AroundWe are in the country, so there are no taxi's, buses or alike. You might be able to hire a horse or two! Other Things to NoteNeed custom booking or have specific needs? Email or call and let us try to meet your needs! Handy cap/wheel chair is OK but bathroom is 1 step up for toilet or shower. Internet is DSL and can be spotty.

The kitchen comes complete with fridge, sink, microwave, electric kettle, electric frypan, George Foreman grill (sorry, no stove). All dishes and cooking utensils are provided. Outdoor grill available for your use. The shared in-ground pool is huge and very clean, with a diving board as a bonus. The International Barn: Named in honor of the many international visitors that we have hosted, the Barn is available for additional overflow living space and is great for young or old guest relaxation. Check your bird list, browse the library, or recall the day's adventures in screened comfort. No additional charge! The NeighborhoodNewport, New Hampshire (chartered 1761) is situated in the 'Upper Valley of the Connecticut River watershed, a natural border for two northern New England states, Vermont & New Hampshire. Both provide numerous tourist & adventure attractions for visitors. Nearby (12mi) Lake Sunapee & Mt Sunapee State Park provide summer and winter recreation for all ages. Pillsbury State Park (18mi) is a hidden gem with great wildlife viewing and wonderful exploring via paddle or foot. Across the Connecticut River are other ski/hiking destinations, Mt. The SpaceElm View Cottage is a self catered 2 bedroom getaway. The Cottage is fully fitted with a washer & dryer, fireplace, radiant heat, modern kitchen and 2 baths. The first floor has a master bedroom with full size bed and large closets. The 2nd floor has a full bath, separate kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed, and a loft area with two twin beds. The cottage is located with a unique view of a giant Dutch Elm tree which has somehow managed to survive the devastating Dutch Elm Disease. The kitchen is equipped with all the pots & pans and spices needed for cooking. Use the dishes and glassware to serve a fine meal, and enjoy a quick cleanup with the dishwasher. A washer and dryer are provided as well. The shared in-ground pool is huge and very clean, with a diving board as a bonus.
