The SpaceThis is a garden space for retreat and relaxation. The balance of indoor and outdoor living is perfect for a place where you can spend time outdoors well over 10 months out of the year. The adobe is small, just under 350 sq feet with a half bath in the structure. You have a large enclosed outdoor shower and full access to your own hot mineral baths with soaking tubs onsite. You never have to leave the Garden if you don't want to! There is a Koi pond with a waterfall and a fire feature to round out the elements. You also have the ability to cook on premises with a grill and an induction burner. Beautiful plant life and serenity abounds. You really won't want to leave! There is a Queen size bed for 2 guests and we can provide an airbed or cot for additional guests. The space is small inside so we say it can accommodate 3 but it is really best for one or two guests. Guest AccessGuests will have access to their own private soaking tubs on the premises. They will also be treated to a $10 gift card to Passion Pie Cafe- an easy 3 block walk from the Garden. We also provide a soaking pass to La Paloma hot springs, just a 1 block walk from the Garden for private indoor soaking in a spa atmosphere. Interaction with GuestsWe will meet our guests at check in and show them how to use the tubs, then we will be absent for the rest of their stay unless they need something. We are always close by for questions. The NeighborhoodThe hot water district of T or C is famous for its healing waters and the Garden is right in the middle of it all. Very old mesquite trees and other natural features make this one of the most coveted streets in T or C. Getting AroundNo public transit but easy walking to shops, eateries and other soaking spots. Other Things to NoteThere is a 6 foot wall encompassing the property with a beautiful mural on the outside wall. You can walk into the Garden and feel like you are the only person on earth or you can use it as home base to get out and investigate the town. The hot mineral tubs are fully outdoors. The water comes out of the ground at 100-101 degrees and provide great soaking temps in spring summer and fall. We have a recirculating heater for the tubs that provide hotter temps for longer soaks but when temperatures are below 20 we do have to disable the heater. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes soaking outdoors is not available. We always have free soaks at La Paloma available to our guests just a short block walk from the Garden, though!

The SpaceIt's a great place to stay when you want to spread yourself out a bit. Nice for when on vacation and not wanting just a room. You can cook on the gas stove, or use the microwave. There is also a toaster, tea kettle and coffee pot for your use. Make yourself at home! The NeighborhoodJust down the road a mile is the Hot Spring District. Ten establishments have hot mineral spring water in one form or another. Only three have the natural springs bubbling up from the earth. The others have it piped in from the earth. Getting AroundThere is a bus in town that operates on solar power exclusively. You can go just about anywhere in town on it. That is the only public transit, other than a gentleman who has a business called, "Need A Ride."
