We are situated in a quiet, no through road. Culcairn is a busy agricultural centre and boasts a number of heritage buildings such as the Memorial Hall, Court House, Railway Station and the Culcairn Hotel. It is a short, 3 minute walk to the shops from the house or for a bit more exercise you can cycle or walk around all or part of Culcairn's 7 km walking and bicycle track.
The area plays host to various agricultural shows (including The Henty Field Days), festivals and fairs. Commencing in March 2017 there will also be a new annual 4WD/Caravan/Camping Superhow.
You can travel to and from the area with ease by road or train. If you are travelling by train we are more than happy to provide transport to and from the railway station (a very short drive from our home). Getting AroundGetting Around
