The SpaceYou'll find our spacious apartment is light and airy, and is in a very quite environment.
The White House has just been refurbished to make your stay even better.
Close to all the major attractions of Canberra, it is also a short walk to a great bakery/patisserie & cafe at the local shops, and is a 10 minute walk to Woden Town Centre. It is ideal for couples and families, and is the perfect base for holidays or work.
Reverse cycle air conditioning means you'll be snug in winter and cool in summer. The spacious main bedroom has a King bed, as does the second bedroom - each of which can be split into 2 king single beds. Both bedrooms have large built in wardrobes.
In the lounge there is a comfortable queen size sofa bed - let me know if you need this bed and I'll provide linen.
The apartment is at the back of the White House, with access down the east side of the house and up a ramp onto the deck. Entry to the apartment is through the glass sliding door.
The apartment faces north and opens onto a good sized deck, with a shade sail on one side. It is private and separate from the neighbours who are lovely, respectful and quiet. Guest AccessWe are friendly but respectful of people's privacy. We will usually greet you when you arrive. If we can't, there is a lock box with the keys next to the apartment entrance on the deck, for which you will be given a code, so you can arrive when you wish.
Of course bed linen, towels and all the things you might need are supplied.

Hughes is a beautiful, leafy, established suburb in Canberra's Woden Valley. It's close to the Woden Town Centre with cinemas, restaurants, cafes, shops and even a skate park on the way.
It is centrally located, and is 7 - 15 minutes drive from many Canberra attractions, including the Australian Museum, National Gallery, the High Court, new and old Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, and Floriade (September / October). I keep a supply of brochures on Canberra's main attractions available for your use.
It is also 15 minutes drive from Canberra Stadium, and is a few minutes drive (or 15 minutes walk) from Canberra Hospital. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop five minutes walk from the front door. It is also 10 minutes walk from the Woden Bus Interchange, with bus routes that will take you all over Canberra. Parking is included.
If you are coming for the AFC finals or the cricket ODI World Cup in early 2015, free public transport to venues is included in your ticket. Buses to all venues can be caught at the Interchange. Going by bus is much faster and cheaper than travel by car due to congestion near venues and the parking fees. Other Things to Note* While we are pet friendly, we will consider requests on application.
* Discounts for stays of over one week. We're happy to discuss discounts for longer stays.
