The SpaceThe bedroom is bright and airy. There is one king size and two single very comfortable beds. Because of the size of the room, we think it is suitable for a larger group of friends or family with kids. The built in wardrobes and chest of drawers provide plenty of space for storing clothes. The room has a TV, wi-fi, kettle and tea and coffee supplies. The guest have their own private and spacious bathroom and cleaned towels. Guest AccessThe house has four bedrooms, including the loft, where the guest will be staying. The first floor bedrooms are occupied by us and are no go area. We will be happy to share the rest of the house with our guests in the morning and in the evenings. They can use our small, but well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, coffee machine and microwave. Interaction with GuestsWe both work, but we are at home in the evening having dinner and relaxing time in front of the tv. We will be happy to assist you in any way, if we could, but we do appreciate our rest as we do work hard. Weekends are more relaxed, and if we are not out and about we will be able to spend more time with you. The NeighborhoodOur road is quite and safe. We are in good relationship with the neighbours and we would like to keep it this way. Getting AroundThe house is just 3 minutes from the Dagenham East London Underground station and will take you to Central London for about 45 minutes. We also have bus stop near by the house. Bus 103 will take you to Romford for 15 minutes, where there is a big shopping centre, restaurants, cinema and clubs.

I live in a residential area in London very well connected by transport with the central of this amazing city. We are a young family of three and I'm dedicated to make the experience of my guests the most amazing one giving them advices, suggestions and ,if they want, showing them myself the most interesting places . I'm an excellent cook (English and Italian meals) which are included in your package. My house has a big garden always ready for parties and barbecue if the weather agrees. My husband is very friendly as well as my little daughter. The room is spacious,cosy and you are free to move in and out the at your most convenient time. Nearby you will find O2 Arena (amazing place for big concerts), Docklands, Bluewater Shopping Center, Westfield Shopping Center. Central attractions as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square etc... reachable in short time.

The SpaceMy house is located in a very quite residential area, close to Abbey Wood railway station. It's modern and always kept clean and tidy. I provide towels for your stay and you are welcome to help yourself with the utilities in the common areas. You can bring in your own guests (ie. partner, relative, close friend) anytime you want and they can stay in the property as long as they want and as long as they respect the house rules. Guest AccessGuests and tenants will have access to kitchen, living room, conservatory and bathroom. Free to use the front and back garden space and and make themselves feel at home. Interaction with GuestsI am happy to show people around if I am not at work but always happy to recommend interesting places to go in Central London. The area is being revitalised due the Crossrail construction due to complete in late 2018. You can experience great parks and the view of the Thames. Getting AroundWe have buses that go to the railway station every 5 min from our main road. Trains take 20, 25 and 35 minutes to reach Greenwich, London Bridge and Trafalgar Sq respectively. Local bus to shopping centre, or 20 minute walk along the river on the thameside walk,the N1 night bus gets you back from central london to the local bus stop. The local 472 bus is a 24 hour service, it will take you to north greenwich for the cutty sark (ship) museum, and the 02 concert arena (40 minutes) From nearby woolwich arsenal rail 30 minutes to london bridge for central london, or 30 minutes to stratford for the westfield shopping centre, both on the scenic docklands light railway. There is a good selection of high street shops in woolwich centre, where you will also find the royal artillery museum. London city airport is 10 minutes from woolwich arsenal on the DLR.

    The SpaceWhen I first arrived in the UK I struggled to find quality short-term accommodation and found it really stressful. The landlords requested massive deposits for horrible little rooms and all I really wanted was a clean secure room with someone I could make a meal - not too much to ask! So here I am, offering exactly the type of room I wanted. Guest AccessYou have access to your bedroom, the shared family bathroom, the garden and the kitchen. There is another toilet downstairs off the laundry and you can prepare your own hot drinks and meals in the kitchen. There is a small table and chairs in the kitchen area for use at meal times, or seating in the garden but I ask that guests don't use the living area in the evenings between 5-6pm so that we can spend time together as a family. Interaction with GuestsI work full time and when I am at home, my time is spent with my son but I do try to be on hand to offer support or advice with journey planning. Although I am from a tiny village back home so sometimes my directions are not all that useful!!!! I get lost a LOT! :-) The NeighborhoodThere is a local cafe near Dagenham East station which does lovely breakfast and homestyle cooked meals. It is called the 'Enjoy Cafe' and my guests enjoy popping in there for a coffee before they journey into the city to sight see or for a breakfast fry up on the weekends! As you walk out of the station, if you turn left, there is a Pipe Major restaurant. I cannot recommend this place enough! They do two main meals for £10 on weekdays, roast dinners throughout the week and they have an indoor and outdoor children's play area. We often go there ourselves so can vouch for the quality of the food and the facilities. We also have the Tesco express store at the station, a chicken shop and a fish and chip shop. Again, all tried and loved by us! :-) I love the fact that I can hear birds in the morning rather than traffic noise! Getting AroundThe closest train station is the Dagenham East underground which is on the District line. It is an 8-10 minute walk from the house. There is free parking on the street outside the house. Other Things to NoteYou have a double room with beds to comfortably sleep three adults. It has a work space, an office chair and a leather tub chair. There is plenty of wardrobe space and if you have large cases you'd like to get out of the way, I have a garage too. It has all the mod cons expected as well as double glazing, private parking, two toilets and a shower and bath. It's a 10 minute walk to buses and Central Line underground stations are either a short bus ride away or a 5-10 minute drive (Zone 4) The Central Line takes you to Liverpool Street in approx 20 minutes and also stops at Stratford, St Paul's and Oxford Street etc. Central London is approximately 11 miles away so if you are looking to be central there are other places which are closer. The house is close to the M25 which has good links to the major airports that serve London. There is a large, combined open plan living/dining and kitchen area. The kitchen has everything needed for guests to enjoy their stay eg washing machine, kettle, toaster, utensils etc. There is a large flat screen TV and facilities for watching DVDs. There is also wifi at the house. There are three good sized bedrooms which offer comfortable beds and clean linen. There are fitted wardrobes with plenty of space to hang clothes. Stanstead Airport, London City Airport and Southend Airport is just 30min by drive. Heathrow is about 2 hours drive and 2.5hours by train. Gatwick airport is about 1hour by drive or train. And we can also help by our own car incase if you are arriving or departing from London at odd time for some extra charge.
