My cabin home is in the beautiful and scenic Flaming Gorge National Recreation area, Ashley National Forest in the Uintah Mountains. It can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people. And includes 1 large bedroom with a king bed, a large bunk-room with 4 queen beds (2 sets of double queen bunk beds), 2 lower level bedrooms each with a queen bed. (additional guests at $45 each).
This mountain cabin is situated in a forest of Ponderosa Pines and is ideal for outdoor recreation. Boating and fishing on Flaming Gorge, fly fishing on the world famous Green River and other nearby streams, hunting, 4-wheeling, sightseeing, river running, horse back riding, geologic sightseeing, bike riding! Elegant accommodations for adventuresome guests.
In the winter, when it is cold, I rent my cabin like a Bed & Breakfast because the heating system requires on site management. It is heated by a wood-burning boiler with radiant heat; this system is not user friendly.
Single rooms are available for rent at $100/night, 2 night minimum. Extra guest in a room is $45/night
If guests want a guided fishing trip, lake or river, it can be arranged for an extra fee. Guided hunting is also available at an extra fee.
Bicycles (3) are available for use by guests.
Boat rentals or river raft rentals are available.

Here you will see and experience nature at its best! This place is ideal for adventurers and lovers of the outdoors and nature. It is a terrific area for fishing and hunting. Wildlife watching is fun; These animals are common: elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, bear, bobcat, wild turkey, pine hen, antelope, owl, eagle, hawk, vulture, vole, coyote, duck, moose, otter, fish, and cottontail rabbit. Mountain lions are rarely seen. The clear sky offers spectacular views of stars, planets and satellites at night. Some of the Fantastic activities are: Boating, world class fly fishing, sight seeing, geologic expeditions, record Lake Trout fishing, bass fishing, Burbot fishing, hunting, wildlife watching, bicycling, horseback riding, and more. Dinosaur National Monument is nearby, as well as the newly built Museum of Natural History in Vernal, UT.
There is ample parking for vehicles and boats.
Guided fishing or hunting trips can be arranged. Boat rentals are available.
