Great get-a-way -- waterfront log home on a quiet cove of Lake Norman.
Three (3) bedroom 2 ½ bath, 1500 sq. feet, with
10 x 20 screened porch that overlooks the lake. Lake home will sleep 6 comfortably.
Located on 1st level is a full kitchen, master bedroom (queen) with full bath, washer/dryer, kitchen with bar, appliances, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, living room with queen sleeper sofa, guest 1/2 bath, and screened porch.
The walk-out basement has two small bedrooms with queen bed in one bedroom and 2 twin beds in the second bedroom; a full bath is located in between bedrooms. The living room and dining areas overlook lake. Equipped with apt. size frig, microwave, coffee maker.
ACCOMMODATIONS AND FURNISHINGS: The property is privately owned; furnished, equipped for housekeeping and decorated to the Owners taste. Standard equipment includes washer/dryer, and televisions. The kitchen comes stocked with cookware and dinnerware. Beds have mattress pads and bedspreads, blankets and pillows.
You will need to bring paper products, soaps, staples, personal items, towels, and linens. There are 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, 1 queen sleeper sofa).
Smoking area is located on 10 x 20 screened porch, front and back porches.
In addition, this house is located approx. 1.5 miles from the Little Creek public boat launch.

GENERAL RENTAL INFORMATION
LAKE NORMAN RENTAL INFORMATION
The following information will assist you in making your reservation and provide valuable information about your stay.
Our home is equipped for basic housekeeping. Kitchens are stocked with cookware and dinnerware. Beds have mattress pads, bedspreads/blankets and pillows. We will supply you with some starter items: roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, paper towels and a couple kitchen trash bags. You’ll need to bring all additional paper products, soaps, staples, personal items and linens, or linens may be rented (see “LINEN RENTALS”). [There are 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, 1 queen sleeper sofa.]
Our home is cleaned before every guest. Please call if the home is not cleaned to your satisfaction upon check-in. We can correct the situation right away.
Please make LINEN REQUEST BEFORE CONFIRMATION OF RENTAL.
Whole house Linen may be rented (sheets for all beds, towels & washcloths for the occupancy of the home and dish towels) for $60.00 and added to housekeeping fee before your Confirmation.

MAKING A RESERVATION
NC State and County health regulations require homes on septic systems be limited to two occupants per bedroom. Bedding is listed only to accommodate flexibility in sleeping arrangements and not to represent occupancy. We rent to family groups only. No sororities, fraternities or other such non-family groups are permitted. No subletting allowed. The Leaseholder must be 25 years of age. The guest is responsible for payment, deposits, damages or other responsibilities as detailed.

DAMAGE & SECURITY DEPOSITS
The security deposit is held by Airbnb. Airbnb will only charge the amount held if an issue is reported.
Please declare all pets prior to arrival. We welcome your four-legged family member (one). An additional nonrefundable minimum charge of $50 will be added to cleaning fee. TENANTS WILL BE SUBJECT TO EVICTION WITHOUT REFUND IF PETS ARE FOUND ON THE PREMISES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
SMOKING OUTSIDE HOME
Smoking is permitted on screened porch and back patio. Please respect our wishes and guests and DO NOT smoke inside the home.
ALL FIREWORKS ARE ILLEGAL. Use of illegal fireworks is grounds for eviction. Fireworks are not permitted on the property. The lessee will be held responsible for any damage to rental home caused by fireworks.
Our home has a locked owner’s closet and cupboard for our personal items. Please respect them. These are not intended for guest use.
Motor homes may not be plugged into electrical outlets at the house, connected to septic systems or used for accommodations. Our lake community prohibits parking motor homes on the property.
LOST & FOUND
Be sure to gather all of your personal items. We will not be responsible for any items left in the unit. Items will be returned COD and will include a $15 fee plus postage. Lost and found items unclaimed after 30 days are turned over to charity.
The NC Division of Marine Fisheries now requires a NC Coast Recreational Fishing License for person 16 years or older. We suggest you purchase these in advance of arrival through one of the local tackle shops. You can purchase an Annual License or a 10-day License. There are different prices for NC Residents and Nonresidents. For more information visit the NC Division of Marine Fisheries website.

We will make every effort to make this your most enjoyable vacation ever. Due to hiring a professional cleaning service, refunds can be made up to 5 days before arrival.
Check-out is flexible within reason on your date of departure. Guest check-out reminders: Please take out trash, start dishwasher, and turn air (not heat) up to 80 degrees. If you had rental linens provided, you will need to strip the beds and put dirty linens in the laundry room.
Please leave keys on the counter and lock both doors upon departure.
No out-of-control parties.
Children must wear life jackets at all times when out by the water (jackets provided in cabinet at the dock) Also, there is a child lock on top of door that leads out to water.
Boating laws posted downstairs on inside cabinet door.
Absolutely "no wake" until out of the cove. Homeowners will call the police to the house and you will receive a warning.
