The SpaceI have a 2 bedroom garden apartment, downstairs within my house, which is situated on the waterfront of Devonport, directly across the harbor from the CBD and city lights of Auckland. Devonport is listed as a Heritage Village of Significance within the Auckland City Centre. Devonport is a 10 minute ferry ride across the water from the city, and my home is a 5-7 minute flat walk, from the terminal. The apartment offers a large living/dining room, with 40" Samsung LED TV, Cable TV, DVD and HDD dock. In the kitchen I have provided a Ceramic Cooktop, Fan Forced Oven, Fridge, Electric Frying pan, Electric Wok, Sandwich Press and Microwave. Along with a toaster and kettle. There is a sink, and all the associated kitchen utensils, and being upstairs, if you need anything else just ask. The bathroom is newly renovated has a nice big shower and great Hot water pressure. The bedrooms are also large, with 1 Queen size bedroom, dresser and built in wardrobe, a Double bedroom, with built ins and 1 x single bed in another Bedroom. There is a full ironing board, iron, clothes airer,Clothes Dryer, vacuum cleaner and hair dryer.
The village of Devonport is basically at the ferry terminal, a flat walk along the waterfront to a full Supermarket, other speciality shops, cafes, restaurant, wine shops etc, and from there all the exploring of Devonport you can do. There is a bus network from the ferry terminal up into the North Shore, and you can get the ferry back to the city where you have right outside the main Ferry terminal doors the full Auckland network of Bus, Trains and Taxi's. You are also in the Heart of the CBD and Shopping.
From the airport you can catch a cab ( approx NZ$130) or the Airport express bus for NZ$16 per person, which will within 45 minutes approx. set you down at directly adjacent to the ferry terminal. You then catch the ferry to Devonport NZ$5.50, when you get off at Devonport, you turn left along the waterfront. Guest AccessGuests have access to the Garden Apartment, either via the Main entrance door off the garden, or via an undercover door in the garage. Use of the undercover area, the garden and side pathways. Interaction with GuestsI am on the premises upstairs, and available, by knocking on the front door, or emails/txt etc. Other Things to NotePlease note the nightly rate for Xmas/New Year.
