The SpaceBeautiful and comfortable inside and lovely quiet yard outside. Enjoy your coffee on the swing listening to the birds, gazing up at the large oaks and blue sky. After your day's adventures, come home to enjoy a glass of wine that you may have purchased at one of our county's wonderful wineries. Inside, the living room encourages conversation or, open the cabinet to watch your favorite TV show. No such thing as too many cooks in the kitchen in this spacious, well-appointed kitchen. Enjoy a cozy breakfast table for two or a larger dining table that can seat six comfortably. The three bedrooms are all a delight: a "playroom" includes a twin bed as well as books, play kitchen, baby doll nursery, and games and puzzles under the bed in bins; a whimsical flowers and fairies room with a comfortable queen bed and plenty of closet and drawer space; and the huge master bedroom with seating area, tucked away home office for your use, and entrance to the fabulous master bath with separate jacuzzi tub and shower. Both bathrooms have separate tub and shower. Above the separate garage is our game room for all ages. Enjoy foosball, air hockey, or adult or child art easels. Just watch your head in this dormered room. Please see more descriptions under this listing's photos. You realize you're not in the city anymore when you can't even begin to count the stars, you're not remotely close enough to any neighbor to guess what TV show they're watching, and you're actually shocked at how quiet it is at night. And yes, this incredible rate reserves the whole house--not guest quarters or space over a garage. Enjoy your home away from home! Guest AccessWifi available. Large kitchen fully stocked with cooking equipment, coffee pot, blender, toaster, microwave, toaster oven, spices, condiments, and dishes/utensils. Large charcoal BBQ as well as gas BBQ are available in the back yard. Cable TV with standard channels plus Starz. Washer and dryer. A nice central location for exploring the Gold Country or setting out for a day trip or longer in the higher elevations where lakes and trails abound. Or, for a nice morning walk or bike ride, go south on our street and at the narrow gauge train tracks, turn right and follow the dirt trail for as long as you like. Walk or bike long enough, and you'll find yourself in the quaint town of El Dorado and a historic train depot. It's a lovely scenic walk or ride. Also for your use while you are here is a guide to biking trails of El Dorado County. Getting AroundYou won't worry about getting lost coming here. We are just a few minutes from the freeway, but you'll definitely feel like you're in the country. It's a lovely walking-friendly neighborhood with the El Dorado Trail (biking, walking, equestrians) crossing our street just down the way. Other Things to NoteIf a holiday weekend is available for booking, a minimum of a two night stay is required. Any other time, we welcome you for any length of stay. We do have one outdoor cat, but he loves visitors and is very sweet. Our neighbor girl feeds him once in the morning just right inside the garden gate. She won't disturb you. If you would prefer to feed the cat instead, just let me know.
