Stay in The Butterfly Garden Room - private entrance on first floor - porch with 2 seat bench for enjoying the night air and the peace and quiet - Queen Sized bed, a flat screen TV and private bath. Limit of 2 people. Enjoy our standard Continental Breakfast - (coffee or tea, orange juice, light flavored fruit yogurt, an english muffin and a "sweet treat") You may request breakfast between 7:00-8:30. If you have food allergies, we suggest that you bring your own breakfast food so you have what you need. Our gardens are always evolving. This house has over 4K square feet and 5 BR's and 5 BA's. It is located 5 minutes from Route 15 and is 15 minutes from Ski Roundtop and is centrally located near PA Dutch Country, Gettysburg, Harrisburg and Hershey. Your family or group will have plenty of room to spread out with two master suites (one is on the main level and one on the second) PLUS three additional very good sized bedrooms, and 5 full bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to make a gourmet meal (the Giant is about 10 minutes away) including china for a fancy meal or use the every day dinnerware. Our large dining room table has three leaves which can accommodate 12+ or just eat at the table while watching TV. We have stayed in short-term rentals before and we have been very disappointed in lack of the small things like, matching towels, and glasses/china and nice sheets In this house you will find everything as you would have it at your home. We have a Florida type room where you can take your coffee in the morning and watch the birds in the large yard. Off that room is a small deck and at the end of the big yard there is a very small creek which is small enough to jump across but big enough to float a toy boat or just listen to the swoosh of the water passing by. The house is in a suburban location of other similar large homes. The lower level has a small bar with bar stools, a sofa and chairs, a full size pool table, and a large 60 inch TV. We recently purchased this home and we are in the process of changing some of the furniture and will provide additional pics as they become available. Enjoy the many sites and events in Dillsburg or the surrounding area which includes the Harrisburg Farm Show, The Car Show, or visit the historic sites of Harrisburg. Going the other direction, south, in about 1/2 hour you are in Gettysburg where you won't want to miss the battlefield and many historic sites. Still in the other direction you can spend a day at Hershey Park or Pennsylvania Dutch Country. If you are a skier, snowboarder, rope swinger, or want to go tubing, Roundtop Mountain Resort is only 15 minutes away and they have activities in the winter and in the summer for kids and adults. If you are a beginner or advanced, they have just about any kind of lesson you may want to take. Sleeping Accommodations: 1st Floor Master Suite (accessible) - King bed and en-suite bath. Additional full bath on 1st floor. 2nd Floor - Master Suite has a queen bed and en-suite bath. The three other bedrooms have: BR 1 - Two queen beds. BR2 - Two full beds. BR3 - Two full beds with twin trundles. Additional full bath. Lower Level Full bath In our 12 count for number to sleep we are counting one bed per person except in the two master suites. We have a minimum age restriction to rent and also a "no parties" rule. If you have extenuating circumstances we may reconsider on a case by case basis. No pets please.
