The SpaceThe house is lovely, it has high ceilings and hardwood floors. The room is on the second floor with stairs in front and back. The garden is the "wow" part of the property, large pond with waterfall and fish. We grow and share organic vegetables, flowers and herbs. We have a indoor/outdoor cat.
We also host another room in the house if you have more than 2 guests, same rate. Please ask or look up our other listing. cook, eat, bike, hike, chat. The NeighborhoodQuiet, safe, residential neighborhood, Walking and biking are good in the area. It is a very cental location In the middle of Long Island. Getting AroundCar is best option, we are in suburbia but public transport is available.
We are happy to pick you up from train station and bring you to our house, if our schedule permits. This first ride is complimentary. After that we charge a $10 fee (cheaper than taxi) to local train, providing we are able to coordinate our schedules.
We are central to Long Island expressway, Northern, Southern and Sagtakos state parkways Long Island Rail Road 5 minutes away, 1 our by train/car to NY city. 20 minutes to north or south shore beaches (some of the nicest in the world). We are 4 miles from the Tanger shopping outlets and the Hampton's are 45 minutes away. Other Things to NoteWe are vegetarians but you can eat/cook what you like. (please not too smelly)
Tom offers discounted massage for guests $80.00 for hour session. Swedish, Thai or Deep Tissue are available. Please book ahead.
Ami or I are also available for private Yoga sessions @$50.00 . Beginners, advanced, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Pranayama. Please book ahead.
We have an indoor /outdoor, mushy cat who comes around for a belly scratch and some food, but prefers to be outside, he is neutered and very good with people.
