The SpaceNOOSA COUNTRY -THIS LISTING IS FOR THE DOUBLE YELLOW ROOM. It accommodates 2 adults. (for our other 2 rooms, the double BLUE and single GREEN rooms see our other listings) NB $20 extra per room, per day over Easter.
We are happy to offer comfortable accommodation for up to 5 people (3 rooms - 2 with queen sized beds,(Yellow and Blue rooms) 1 single (Green room)
We live in a comfortable, 4 bedroom house on a picturesque, small acreage at the base of Mt Tinbeerwah, which is in the Noosa hinterland on the Sunshine Coast, Qld. (15 minutes from Noosa Heads, a popular beach and surfing location)
There are many fruit trees, 2 vegetable gardens, a rainforest, a beautiful pond, a creek and numerous native gardens on the property. The abundant wildlife, such as wallabies, kangaroos, native ducks, water hens and a large number of birds keep us constantly entertained as we look over our large pond from the house.
Ours is a great location to just relax at or use as a base for visiting the beautiful beaches and many tourist and natural attractions of our unique Sunshine Coast and hinterland. Guest AccessYou would have the use of a TV, sound system, free wireless internet, BBQ, laundry and a nearby bathroom.
A complimentary breakfast of toast, spreads, juice, fruit and tea/coffee is provided. Tea and coffee - always available. ( No breakfast included for weekly or monthly guests)
You're welcome to wander around the gardens, through the rainforest or sit at one of the many settings scattered around the verandah and grounds. Interaction with GuestsHaving lived in the area for decades, we know and love our location and are happy to give advice and help you plan trips around the area:))
As well as the beautiful beaches, rivers, lakes and national parks there are many other places to visit -
From the larger attractions of Underwater World, Aussie World, the Eumundi Markets and Australia Zoo, to the smaller, less known ones, such as dolphin feeding at Tin Can Bay, craft and art galleries at Maleny and Montville, cheese factories at Kenilworth and Maleny, local farmers markets… we can direct you to depending on your preferences.
The NeighborhoodFrom our 5 acres, surrounded by open countryside, it's a 12 minute drive to the pristine Noosa river beside which you could take a scenic walk or visit one of the many cafes, restaurants or shops. As well you can relax or swim at one of the world renowned beaches of Noosa.
Whales and dolphins can be spotted on a walk around the bays and rocky headlands of the famous Noosa National Park. (you might even spot a koala, echidna or goanna)
The shores of nearby Boreen Point and Lake Cootharaba, in the upper reaches of the Noosa River system, are such a beautiful place to visit for fishing, sailing, canoeing, camping, bush walking and just to get away from it all. Getting AroundA bus goes past the door and there is a train station at Cooroy.( 7kms away)
We can pick you up from the station or from the Sunshine Coast Airport for a small fee.
There's 5 acres of safe, off road parking on our property.
Other Things to NoteThe smaller, village-like towns of Eumundi, Cooroy and Tewantin are all just a 5 minute drive away.
There's also a larger shopping centre and specialty shops only 10 minutes away at Noosaville.
