The SpaceThis is a beautiful character cottage 5 mins from the beach it oozes character and charm the high ceilings and retro feel. We have a beautiful day bed out the front for people to relax and chill out. Fast Free Wi-Fi There is also an option to rent my car BEDROOMS The house has a master bedroom with ensuite , double wardrobes, a generous queen size bed with aircon and fan. The second bedroom is furnished with another queen size bed, lamp and wardrobes. The thrid bedroom is furnished and has a double bed with aircon LIVING SPACE An open plan living space gives you a sense of space with French doors that open out onto a beautiful backyard which catches the midday sun. Kick back on the sofa in front of the television or spend your evening reading your favourite book. KITCHEN The fully-equipped kitchen is adjoined by a dining area so you can chat to your friends or family as your prepare a meal. We have a dishwasher and all the amenities you could possibly need. BATHROOM There is a bathroom with a shower and massive bath. We also have a toilet in the laundry . LAUNDRY has a washing machine, ironing facilities and a laundry sink. FEATURES Airconditioning in living area and main bedroom , and spare room with ceiling fans in all rooms. We provide clean sheets and towels for you to use. Shampoo conditioner are all supplied. Nearby public transport makes it easy to get to and from the property as well as explore the beautiful city of Perth. Catch a bus into the city, down to Fremantle or up to Hillarys. Taxi fares from the international airport is approx. $50 depending on traffic and time of day.

The SpaceOur house is a double story home with: - a large kitchen - heated plunge pool (usually ready for use in October - April) - large lounge room with TV and stereo system - outside area with BBQ - ducted air-conditioning - Nespresso machine - free wifi (200GB high speed broadband) - laundry with washing machine and dryer The room available has : - a private bathroom with bath and separate toilet (not used by anyone else) - mirror - built in wardrobe - chest of drawers, bed side tables and lamps. We have just travelled for 12 months and stayed with some amazing people through airbnb and now we have returned home we would like to meet other people and share our house! We love to have a glass of wine in the evening or dinner at home, but also can be out a lot so can cater how much interaction you would like! Doubleview is a great area, right near the beach, near some great cafes, shopping centres etc. It is 15 minutes into the city by car or 25 minutes by public transport. Our house is 1-5 min from a bus stop. Guest AccessYou can use all of the amenities in the house including kitchen, pool, washing machine, dryer etc. We have 1 bicycle available if you need to go to the shops (5 minutes by bicycle down the road). We hope to have a second bicycle soon! Interaction with GuestsWe work away for some periods of time so may not be able to meet guests, but will provide information on how to get into the house. We are reasonably busy and do not spend huge amounts of time at home so the place is mostly yours. We can give numerous suggestions on things to do in Perth, and we are especially fond of Margaret River and the region and can provide maps and suggestions if you choose to spend time there. The NeighborhoodDoubleview is a quiet area but is very close to shops, cafe's and the city (only 15 minute drive). Getting AroundA car is advisable but if not it is not a trouble, there is a bus stop right over the road (runs Monday-Friday) and another bus stop 400m away that runs every day, these buses will take you to the train station (or into the city), or to Scarborough Beach. We have space for 1 extra car in our garage, otherwise there is street parking. Other Things to Note- We work away at times so may not be home at all times, but if not we will leave all information on how to access the home, and will be home at some stage during your stay!

You're welcome to help yourself to coffee, tea, toast, jams and basic pantry items for cooking dinners at home (oil, salt & pepper, spices). You will have space your own fridge and freezer to yourself. As well as curtains, the roller shutter blinds darkens your room in the mornings, making it perfect for sleep-ins for the tired traveller! Cafes and shopping facilities are less than 100 metres from the home. A car is not needed for transport as it is located 100 metres from us (bus stop). Ideal for a summer holiday or a mild winter holiday, Scarborough Perth is the ultimate beach retreat . Perth weather is eternally sunny and warm. The ocean breezes are famous and our pure white beach sand is inspiring. The facilities here are fantastic; the coffee, food and outdoor dining is wonderful. Long pathways along the coast always entice sunny bike rides and the friendly relaxed Perth lifestyle draws travellers here each year. The home has excellent facilities nearby; grocery shopping, chemists, cafes and transport all in walking distance of the home. The beach is less than 1.5 km's. Getting AroundPublic Transport is less than a 2 minute walk. Easy access to either the city (17 minutes on bus / train) or less than 2 minutes to the beach. We walked to the beach when this was our home, but it is up to you. Other Things to NotePlease note for stays up to 3 nights there maybe an additional charge added during the week. The SpaceHi there, Heading for a trip abroad from August 13th to September 2nd. Could really do with some extra cash so am hoping to rent my room out! It's a huge room in a lovely big 4 bed house in Doubleview (Huntriss Rd). Cheapest rent you'll get for such a nice place and there's still some room if you want to negotiate further :) Would suit somebody who needs a place short term and wants to live better than the hostel life. Room will be furnished like how you see in pics and there's a massive built in wardrobe so plenty of space for whatever stuff you might have with you. Close to everything: train, beach, innaloo shopping centre, The Saint and Botanica etc. One room has an ensuite and then there's a toilet and bathroom to share with two others. Nice front garden and huge back garden with pizza oven and BBQ. Plenty of parking. Nice park across the road. About the other occupants: 2 girls, 1 guy (aussie⁄NZ). Late 20s early 30s. All nice happy people. Pretty quiet during the week with work and gym. Few drinks⁄ surfin⁄ rugby on weekends. Give me a txt! Cheers, Col

Our garden Studio is situated at the rear of our block and has a private access as well as a kitchenette, TV DVD player. No stove inside however a BBQ in the pergola allows for outside cooking. . The Studio is completely separate at the rear of our garden away from our home and adjoins a large pergola area. Guest AccessTotally private so no need to access main house. Studio access available through side gate entry. Interaction with GuestsBoth of us work but we are around to offer help with highlights of the local area including the best coffee shops and local dining and beaches. The NeighborhoodDoubleview has an abundance of great coffee shops, within walking distance. As well as good local restaurants close by. Scarborough and Trigg beaches are just minutes away and offer great surfing and swimming. We are situated between Karrinyup and Innaloo shopping centres if you like to take home presents for the relatives. Perth city is easily reached with a bus stop 50 metres away which will take you to a 10 minute train ride into the city. Getting AroundOn bus route with easy access to trains. Or good taxi service available as well. Local beaches are 5 minutes on the bus or are within walking distance. Other Things to NoteThere are no laundry facilities in the Studio however there are laundromats near by and you are welcome to use our clothes line. Also we have a very friendly dog. Please check as we may be able to accommodate your dog as well. Sorry but not suitable for cats. Sofa bed accommodation for a child if necessary.

People do get out and exercise here so there is always activity around the area. The neighbours are all very friendly. At end of our road is the bus stop to go into Innaloo or to Glendalough Train station which will take you into the city. The public transport is very reliable and mostly always on time. If driving you have the beautiful West Coast rd to head to Fremantle or north to Joondalup. Or straight up Scarborough Beach Rd to the city. Overall the area is quiet. It is an area undergoing redevelopment. The house immediately adjoining me is going to undergo redevelopment at some stage in 2016. Great organic pizza shop at end of street. On northern fringe of Perth's famed western suburbs. Getting AroundPublic transport to beach and city within 200 metres walk. Scarborough Beach minutes to west in car, 10 mins by bus. Taxi's readily available and Hire cars available in Osborne Park a nearby suburb to east of us. Other Things to NoteI have a bichoodle. There are 4 outdoor living areas as well as dining and family room with gas log fire, large screen TV, HD DVD player, Sonos sound system, Apple TV, Netflix and more. Guest AccessOur home is only 5 blocks from the beach so its a perfect house to enjoy a great holiday with numerous entertaining areas. Sipping a cocktail on the upstairs balcony while watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean proves a regular favourite pass time. In summer we get a wonderful ocean breeze called the "Fremantle Doctor" which cools the house down naturally flowing through the house. Interaction with GuestsHappy to provide you with information on the local area ( including best surfing & fishing spots). But you are welcome to relax and feel at home without having to socialise. The NeighborhoodOnly 2 minutes away you can catch the 990 bus to take you either down to the beach (7min) or into Perth CBD (30min). Our home is in a very handy location. Minutes drive down to the beach lets you swim in the beautiful clean Indian ocean. Our house is right near a great little cafe that serves amazing cappuccino and wood fired pizzas, a pasta cafe, a Vietnamese restaurant, a liquor store to pick up wine, spirits or beer and a pharmacy/ post office. Also an IGA supermarket is one block away. Getting AroundThere is on street parking and a free carpark next door to our house. Buses and taxis are also easy to get minutes from us along Scarborough Beach Road. Other Things to NoteWe are a professional couple (empty nesters). Kim is a semi-retired engineer and Annie has worked in the film & TV industry for several decades as a casting director, currently for the Film and Television Institute in Perth. All our children have 'flown the coop'- eldest a lawyer currently living & working in Tokyo, second an actor and filmmaker living in Sydney and our youngest, our daughter is studying Medicine (4th year) in Perth. And our little Maltese/Poodle dog Snowy is our 'hairy son'.(He is very elderly and sleeps most of the day). We look forward to welcoming you to our home.

      The SpaceThe Lane is large enough for two families with a lounge room and bathroom both up stairs and down stairs. It boasts a large 8 seater dining table and large oven along with an ice making stainless steel fridge/freezer and stainless steel double drawer dishwasher. Guest AccessGuest have access to the whole house except for the garage. There is parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway. Please don't park on the lawn (Thank you). The NeighborhoodThe Lane is situated in a quite family friendly area very close to shops, cafes, newsagency, chemist, restaurants, post office, fresh fruit and vegie, clothing, hairdressers and public transport with a park for little ones to play in just a short stroll away. Two major shopping centres are located just a few minutes from the property. Want to hang out at the beach well its either a 1.8km walk, a short drive or you can even catch the bus there. Want to go shopping, you can either visit Karrinyup Shopping centre or Westfields close by or a 10-15 minute drive to the city where shopping is endless. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop going both into the city and down to Scarborough beach a 1 minute walk from the property with a train station a short 5 minute drive away. Other Things to NoteThere is a grocery shop just across the road so all you need to bring is your bag. There is a $600 refundable bond which is refunded within 7 days of departure and a Rental Agreement etc to be signed and returned. Prices quoted is for 4 adults. over 4 adults are quoted at $50 per person. So for example 8 adults are quoted at $400 per night regardless of week or weekend.
