      The Darby Cabin is located in a private area surrounded by open space, trees and miles of mountain views. This is a rustic log cabin with everything you need for an extended vacation stay. It is the perfect size for a couple or a couple with younger children. It features a Queen sized bed in the bedroom, a full-sized pull out sofa in the living room and 2 Twin beds in the upstairs loft.           This new, contemporary Aspen Pointe town home sits on the banks of Teton Creek just off Ski Hill Road. This is the access road from Driggs, Idaho, to the ski and summer resort of Grand Targhee, Wyoming. The home is one mile from Driggs and about two miles from the ID / WY state line. Getting AroundThe bus will take you up and down to the slopes, as well as to Driggs. The shuttle bus to Targhee stops right at our place! A car is recommended to get around. We are fortunate to live on Maui when we are not in Wydaho. We literally have the best of both worlds. I am gone during weekday but the dogs and cat are at home. Generally home in the evenings and in and out on the weekends. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is quiet and situated on the edge of town. Close enough to walk to shops, etc but not in the midst of everything. Surrounded by a great amount of open space with lots of wonderful walking trails. Just walking through the neighborhood is a nice way to spend an hour. Getting AroundHaving an auto is highly recommended. There is very limited public transportation. Grand Targhee ski area does provide a shuttle in the winter between town and the resort and the shuttle stop is within walking distance of home. There is also a bus to Jackson, Wyoming that departs twice a day. Otherwise it's all car, bike, or foot. The home is close enough to walk to the grocery store, shops, and some forested areas. Bike rentals are available and you'll find that this is a very bike friendly town. Having an auto gives a lot of freedom and endless places to explore. Other Things to NoteHome is located in Driggs, Idaho - part of Teton Valley. Victor, Idaho is located 10 miles away and Jackson, Wyoming is approx. 45 miles away. Grand Targhee ski area is 13 miles away from the home but plan on about 30 minutes for the drive. Grand Teton National Park is approx. 60 miles away or one hour by car to the south gate. Yellowstone is approx. 120 miles away to the west gate. Many hiking and biking trails can be found in the area. Boating and fishing are rather popular. I have maps, guidebooks, and suggestions if you need it!

Other Things to NoteThe town of Driggs has a lot going on year around - from "music on main" and farmers markets in the summer, to ice sculptures on main street in the winter. We have a host of great restaurants and wine shops, and activities go on throughout the year. Your own cozy, very clean and quiet cottage with lots of beautiful details, 2 blocks from the Targhee shuttle stop. Gorgeous, artist-designed bathroom with jetted tub, and large well-stocked kitchen make this very livable for short visits or longer stays. There is a TV with Roku player for watching movies or TV, and an ipod dock/stereo. We don't provide breakfast because we have such good cafes and restaurants just a few blocks away, but you can bring and cook your own, and there is a coffeemaker for your own coffee. Getting AroundAll drives are scenic and part of the adventure! 35 minute drive to Jackson, WY. 45 minute drive to Grand Tetons NtlPark. 1.5 hour drive to Yellowstone Ntl. Park.                             The SpaceWe hope that all will find our space inviting, quiet, and simply a great get away. The home is approx 800 sq ft. It is located just .4 miles off of Ski Hill road and 1.9 mi from the main stop light in Driggs. There is great access to hiking, biking, and skiing from the home without getting into your car. Our home is a new adventure for us and we hope you will enjoy the changes we make along the way. As of 3/2014 we have new blinds throughout and new art. Guest AccessThe home does have a 2 car garage which may be available upon request for a small extra fee and some extra requirements. Interaction with GuestsWe are not on site full time but are happy to respond to questions, concerns and anything that will make your stay in the Tetons one that will bring you back! The NeighborhoodCobblecrest Rd. is a small subdivision off of Ski Hill Rd of approximately 12 homes. All of the homes and area are well kept. The roads and driveways are plowed following storms. Ski Hill Rd has a wonderful bike trail along the side and there is also a great trail through the back roads to the center of Driggs. The Teton Valley has a variety of restaurants all with outstanding food. Getting AroundVery bike and pedestrian friendly. Other Things to NoteDuring ski season there are many x-country ski areas simply from out the front or back door to the nearby high school, the Alta school, and Teton Springs Golf Course which all have set tracks.                             The SpaceOur home is perfect for a family or group of friends staying to explore Teton Valley. The home offers a great covered front and back porch to enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage. You will sleep very comfortably in any one of the bedrooms. The home offers one large master bedroom with a luxurious king size bed and private bathroom. The master bathroom has a walk in shower and a soaking tub. Along with the master, there are two guest bedrooms. Both guest bedrooms have very comfortable queen beds. All linens and comforters are of high quality and you will be sure to rest very comfortably! An extra bathroom and shower is also located next to the two guest bedrooms. The living space is nice and open, allowing for lots of conversation even if you are the cook! The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities a cook will need and the dining room table will fit up to 8 people very spaciously. After dinner, join together in our family room for a movie night or game night! Movies and games will be provided at the home. If you don't wish to cook, the town of Driggs is located less than a mile away and is a very easy walk or bike ride into town. Enjoy all the happenings in Downtown Driggs at your convenience! Guests have access to the entire house, except for the machinery in the garage. Please feel free to use the bikes in the garage and cruise to Driggs or Victor on the beautiful bike path! We are available for our guests' needs by phone or email anytime. We love the charming Creekside neighborhood! A playground is located a few houses down the road for families to enjoy. The Paisley Bear Condo is a second floor unit with a master suite at one end and two guest suites on the other-affording one a bit more privacy. The master has an amazingly comfy king bed and master bath. Both guest rooms have new queen, memory foam mattresses with lovely linens. They have amazing views of the Big Hole Mountains right outside their own private balconies and their bathroom is close enough to be termed junior suites.No one loves laundry but there's a good sized laundry room with full washer and dryer and folding countertops. It also houses all the extra linens and towels. No need to buy or bring detergent or the like-it's here and available for you to useIf you stay long enough to use it, there's even a central vacuum system a little nicety for cleaning up. Driggs, Idaho is a beautiful and quaint place for vacation time. Relax and enjoy the best the Rocky Mountains have to offer. NO pretense here, no glamour, just amazing and breath-taking beauty.
