The SpaceWalk straight to the water with absolute river frontage from the house. This allows for activities such as fishing, crabbing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. There is a ramp 200 metres away for you to put your boat in for Serpentine River adventures, with the exit into the estuary close by. Enjoy many glorious sunsets from the front verandah. At dusk, native wildlife such as kangaroos and bandicoots can be seen grazing on the grounds. An abundance of birdlife can also be observed. Dolphins are often seen in the river. Small lake next to the house. Guest AccessSome board games, cards and books available. DVD available. Interaction with GuestsWe live on an adjoining property so we are close by if guests need assistance, however interaction will be minimal. There is a secure 24 hour key retrieval system so you can arrive any time. Getting AroundBuses available from Riverside Drive into town and to the foreshore and trains, however own transport arrangements are desirable. Other Things to NoteTwo persons can book and stay for a single night. More than two persons then its a two night minimum stay.

The SpaceOur house has two double bedrooms with their own bathroom and toilet. Both bedrooms have a double bed in each and are available for two people at $75 per night per room. The second night is $60 so two nights would cost $135. We have a lovely outdoor area on the canal and often see dolphins; egrets; swans; pelicans; shags; ducks etc. South Yunderup is a nice easy stop between Perth (70 kms) & Bunbury which is only 100 kms from here. South Yunderup has its own local bus service (limited) on week days which connects to the Mandurah Train Station. We can arrange to pick guests up from the Station. A fee may be charged for this service. There is plenty of space for parking in our driveway. There is lots to see and do in the surrounding areas so it is recommended to have your own transport. We are located on the Canal which can be used for swimming; kayaking; fishing; crabbing (in season). We have one double canoe and three kayaks available for use and a few bicycles which you are welcome to use. The Sandy Cove Tavern is a two minute walk away which does great meals as well. Also there are tennis courts available for hire along with a bowling club that has a bar. With regards to breakfast we are totally flexible. You are welcome to our facilities to make your own or we can do a fully cooked or continental breakfast for you. Of course our price of $60 only includes a continental breakfast. There are also a couple of local cafes that are on the river and offer a good breakfast and meals. Guest AccessKayaks; bicycles; nice walks; viewing of kangaroos; fishing; crabbing in season; tennis courts; bowling green; Good well priced Restaurants, local tavern, hairdressers and chemist all within walking distance. We can arrange a River Cruise (of course weather permitting) for those that enjoy boating. A fee may be charged for this service. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as they wish. We usually eat breakfast with them. The NeighborhoodIt is a quiet cul de sac and very restful area. Getting AroundLocal bus to the doorstep is only four times per day. This goes straight to the Mandurah train station and connects with the Perth line. Other Things to NoteUse of kayaks, crabbing gear, bicycles, tennis racquets, lawn bowls and hand fishing lines to fish off our jetty.

We provide the canoes, kids scooters and bikes. The bright sunny, near new, house is self contained with full kitchen facilities and TV, DVD and solid comfortable leather furniture throughout. Split system air-conditioning and heating, lounge only There are 3 large bedrooms, the huge master bedroom has its own ensuite and there is a semi-ensuite for the second queen sized bedroom allowing guests or family their own privacy. The third bedroom has a double bunk and a single bed for the extra guests or kids. There is a sunny outdoor atrium with a BBQ in which to sit, read or eat. Linen, towels, blankets, kitchen utensils and tea towels are supplied. There is ample parking for 3cars and a trailer at the property. Only 200m to the beach on the Serpentine River and a 1 minute drive to the Nairn boat ramp where you have access to the Serpentine and Murray River for boating, kayaking, fishing and drinks at the Ravenswood Hotel. Or simply kick back on the river beach and watch the pelicans and dolphins swim by. 200 metres to the west is the magnificent Peel Inlet for flat water windsurfing and kite boarding, crabbing, fishing, sailing and bird watching on the World Heritage Harvey Peel wetlands. Great for the kids as it's shallow and warm. Have fun catching crabs and prepare a meal you have caught -they don't come any fresher. Guest AccessAll house and garage. Interaction with GuestsYou will be met on arrival (if possible) and shown around the property and handed the keys. if for an unavoidable reason the Host is unable to meet you the location of the key will be advised to the guest and they can let themselves in. On departure you will do a hand over as the property Host lives near by. Other than that there need be no interaction - the property is all yours to enjoy. The hosts however will be contactable and supportive and will let the guests know their availability at the start of the stay. The NeighborhoodLocated only a 7 minute drive, or a 20 minute bike ride, to the stunning Mandurah Foreshore where you can enjoy cafes, shopping, weekend markets, cinema, the Performing Arts Centre and dolphin canal tours. 10 minute drive to the Halls Head Golf course or town beach and a 15 minute drive to the excellent surfing beach at Avalon. A 15 minute drive to the Cut Canal where you can sometimes see the dolphins herding the fish into the canals, a great fishing spot and picturesque walks. 15 minute to historic Pinjarra and the Australian Wildlife Peel Zoo. Within half an hour drive there are excellent wineries and boutique breweries the scenic Darling Ranges and an hour to Bunbury, the gateway to the south-west and popular winery region of Margaret River. Getting AroundThe closest bus stop is about 1 kilometre away and services Mandurah City and the train to Perth City. The train to Perth takes 45 minutes. The property is an easy 1 hour drive from Perth or 1.5 hours in rush hour (avoid) on the Kwinana freeway. The property is only 10 minutes from the Freeway. 80km from the Perth Airport. Once out of the airport you would take the Roe Highway heading south. Turn left onto the Kwinana Freeway south. Take the Pinjarra Road turnoff (turning right to Mandurah). Fremantle is approximately an hour's drive away following the coast road through Rockingham and Kwinana.

Dogs allowed, but preferably not inside. 10 minutes by boat to the Sandy Cove Tavern, 30 minutes to the Ravenswood Hotel. 45 minute crossing to Mandurah across the estuary. Guest AccessAccessible from the Young Road boat ramp, about a two minute trip to the house and the boatshed is perfect for most trailerable boats. PLEASE NOTE there is no road access, the house is on an Island in the river and you do need a boat to get to it! Interaction with GuestsWe are more than happy to keep in contact during your stay, and will usually be able to meet you to bring you over to the house when you arrive. The NeighborhoodThe best way to get around down here is by boat. You can access Pelicans on the Murray, which does a great cooked breakfast, a little further up into the canals is the Sandy Cove Tavern which has a restaurant and sports bar (our fave for dinner) plus a Chinese restaurant Bottleshop, Deli (great burgers and pizzas) and a pharmacy. Further up is another good dinner spot at the Riv, and then further up the river is the famous Ravenswood Hotel which has an amazing beer garden and often live music. If the weather is nice, Mandurah is only a 40 minute trip across the estuary with heaps of good eating, shopping and drinking spots. Getting AroundThere is a small carpark on Young Road (we have never had a problem leaving our cars there for long periods of time) and a boat launch. Chuck all your stuff in the boat, launch and be at the property in two minutes! Other Things to NotePLEASE NOTE: you do need a boat to get from the car parking area to the property. We do have a small inflatable for rent, but more fun if you have your own small boat or dinghy with room for everyone, because there is a lot accessible by water on the Murray, including breakfast spots, kids parks, pubs and cafes - plus the great crabbing and fishing spots.

If you enjoy adventuring out and exploring your surroundings the greater Peel region is full of both environmental and cultural attractions. We know you will enjoy your stay! The home is large enough that you won't have to worry about being in each others personal space as you can find your own secluded corner to enjoy your holiday. Getting AroundBesides a car the other option to enjoying Waterhavens surroundings is by personal boat. If you possess a small boat the canals run into the Peel-Harvey Inlet which provides you with many more opportunities.           The SpaceThe home is constructed of limestone bricks, has a colourbond steel roof and 3 years old. The property has been professionally decorated with quality furnishings and fittings. The two stories residence is designed with segmented glass upstairs frontage, balconies and paved areas for panoramic canal and wetland views to complement and take advantage of its location. Downstairs The property consists of generous family and dining area, open plan kitchen, master bedroom with built in wardrobe, walk in robe and ensuite with spa, two bedrooms bathroom and separate WC, an office, laundry and impressive entry with spiral staircase to upstairs. Floor coverings are travertine marble and carpet. Upstairs This floor consists of a further two bedrooms, a large activities area, home theatre, bathroom, separate WC and walkway to a large balcony with commanding views of the canal. The house is reverse cycle air conditioned with two ducted units. Outside Entry to the house is through a landscaped gated courtyard with a day bed and water feature in the garden. The property is built for entertaining with outdoor heated spa and cabana, alfresco kitchen with barbecue, crab cooking and pizza oven facilities adjoining the steps to the canal with a two boat jetty. The whole outside area is paved and reticulated. The house has a lock up garage with a sectional remote controlled door. The property is fully secured with a monitored alarm system. The house itself is spacious, modern and fully furnished allowing for the most laid back and relaxing vacation. Also included with your stay is the possibility to house some members of your party in the self contained one bedroom cottage on the property. If you enjoy adventuring out and exploring your surroundings the greater Peel region is full of both environmental and cultural attractions. The house is just 15 minutes from both Mandurah and Pinjara, or 30 minutes from the lush forests of the must see Lane Poole Reserve We know you will enjoy your stay here at 'Waterhaven'! Bring your own boat and moore it on the private jetty in the back yard. This very unique property boasts 2 homes, the original river home is closest to the road and the house you will see as you pull up in the driveway, bedrooms are located in the original river home. Our new Glasshouse is on the river side in the backyard, in the beautiful glasshouse there is a lounge, dining, kitchen, bathroom and games room complete with decking looking over the river. Whether you are a couple wanting a quiet romantic getaway or family who will make the most of all the space to create some wonderful memories, this property will suit everyone! Relax on the beautiful deck and watch the dolphins, wildlife and boats pass you by. Also plenty to do for the family, kids will be entertained for days, plenty of crabs to be caught in the Murray River, bring the rod as Bream fishing is also a must on the jetty. In the glasshouse keep entertained with a pool table and fuseball. Kids will enjoy some down time in the original home, setup with plenty of lounges, big TV, DVD's and a WII with lots of games. The property is an easy drive from Perth when you take the Pinjarra road exit. Once you see the view you cannot do anything else but relax. This is the perfect place to have fun with the family and bring your boat to experience the Murray River and Peel Inlet. Have fun catching crabs and prepare a meal you have caught -they don't come any fresher. Or simply kick back on the deck and watch the dolphins swim by with a coldie in hand.             The SpaceOur cozy and brand new house is close to the Mandurah Foreshore, the city centre, library and shopping centre (incl Supermarket) which is all within 10min walking distance (less than 1km). It is a tranquil oasis perfect for relaxing in a very quiet street with lush private backyard. The Mandurah station which gives railway access to Perth, can conveniently be reached by bus ( a bus station is 8min walking distance and or by walking (about 30min).
