OPAL Cards (for public transport) Interaction with GuestsAfter providing a quick tour and handing over the keys, I am reachable 24/7 on the listed mobile number if you have any queries about the apartment or what's good to do for the duration of your stay if I'm not physically there at the time.
You're welcome to chat to me as much or as little as you please but if you are unsure about anything that is apartment related, respect the accommodation and ask first before taking action. The NeighborhoodDulwich Hill, home to Sydneysiders since the 1800s, is transforming. As a new generation discovers its exceptional city proximity and warm village atmosphere, more and more people are choosing to take up residence in this somewhat iconic suburb.
With the likes of ZEUS greek street food, Tella Balls dessert bar and Feel Good Thai restaurant located directly below the apartment (Just hit G on the elevator console), convenience to good food is literally at your doorstep. A short walk walk over to Marrickville road allows for you to dabble your taste buds in a vast array of cuisines, pizza bars and trendy cafes so good food is definitely not in short supply.
The neighbouring suburb Petersham offers the likes of Frangos, arguably the best Portuguese charcoal chicken Sydney has to offer along with other interesting places.
Just a stone throw away from that is the very colourful and hip Newtown. With it's popularity skyrocketing in recent years, this place is a must go for all Sydney tourists.
Culturally Newtown is like no other suburb in Sydney, or, quite possibly, Australia. Here is the highest concentration of live theater venues found anywhere in the country. Newtown is a stimulating melting pot of society. Walking down King Street you can pass Uni students, colorful artists, same-sex couples, elderly locals, wealthy professionals and young families. Newtown's café culture offers a perfect opportunity to sit back and absorb the surrounding atmosphere. Enjoy a coffee while partaking in the favorite local pass time of people watching.
There is a refreshing air of tolerance about this place. You can tell there are no expectations made thus you can be comfortable with whoever you want to be in Sydney's Newtown. Getting AroundAll forms of public transportation at your fingertips!
