Local population approximately 25,000. Beautiful nights with tons of stars! (Several of the worlds largest telescopes are located on nearby Mount Graham). Within 20 minutes of Roper Lake state park and Gila Box recreation area. Within 1 hour of the top of Mount Graham (10,800 feet) for hiking, camping or playing in the snow. Also 45-90 minutes from Chiricahua National monument, Fort Bowie, Arivaipa Canyon. Safford is 3 miles and Eastern Arizona College is 6 miles from cottage.

Plenty of places to run or bike nearby, both on public trails and between farms. The last 1/3 mile to the cottage is on a graded, gravel surface road. Other Things to NoteCottage is about 450 square feet and is located next to main house where we live.
You will definitely be able to experience country living as we are located amidst working cotton and alfalfa farms.
Although the cottage is only 3 miles from the center of town (Safford), The last 1/3 mile to the cottage is on a graded, gravel surface road which can be muddy in the event of rain.
