Most of the interior and decorations are pink. The creator or designer of this Airstream invited iconic South African women to select heart-stoppingly beautiful lingerie, which has been decoratively framed for added effect.Goldilocks and the 3 Bears is meant to be used as a mini-set in which to tell the much-loved bedtime story of a little blonde girl and some bears. This fantasy Airstream mirrors the times-three theme of the actual fairytale – a bear suit and Goldilocks outfit, tiny cups and saucers. Pleasantville’s interior was designed by Liam Mooney, creative director and designer of Whatiftheworld and creative director of the Airstream Rooftop Trailer Park project. Getting AroundNo guests always hire their own transport from well-known Car-Hire Companies. The nearest railway and bus transport is 10 km's away. Other Things to NoteThe closeness to restaurants ( Durbanville), there are many local pubs and such like within walking distance- this allows for that extra glass of wine during lunch/evening meals.

My apartment/Studio is adjacent to the main house, so I am usually around if you may need any advice or help. There's a small private garden in front that overlooks a nice green park and mountains. Getting AroundNote to international travellers •Public transport is not of a high standard in this area and we recommend that you hire a vehicle. An international driver’s licence will be needed. In South Africa we drive on the left hand side of the road. •Hiring of vehicles can be made before hand or on arrival •Regardless we will collect / meet you at the airport and you can accompany / follow us home. (±12klm) •Generally roads are well sign posted and a GPS (if required) is available to make traveling easier. Guest AccessWe have three en suite bedrooms next to one another of which two interlink with one another, overlooking the garden and pool area. One bedroom has full bathroom whilst the others only have showers. Two people can share per room. ( we have to state its a guest house and not a home to yourself, we live on the property) Then we have a one bedroom apartment with kithcenette, loung/dining room with double sleeper couch and single couch. Bathroom only has ashower, but an additional toilet. 4 Adults can share this space or two adults and two children. Most guest prefer self catering, but we do also do a pre packaged breakfast at additional costs. Interaction with GuestsGuests will be greeted and can approach us any time with questions or anything they may need. We do transfers from and to the Airport. We also do fullday or half day tours around the Cape Peninsula. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is very safe and guests can go and run/walk with ease, we are 1/2 km away from the nearest wine farm for wine tasting. It is just very peaceful and tranquil! Getting AroundWe can provide a service by dropping off guests at the nearest shopping mall or restaurant, our public transport in SA in process, so I would advise guests to rent a vehicle, which I help them with. The cottage has one bedroom with a queen size bed,on suite bathroom with a bath/shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and eye level hob and oven. The open plan lounge is equipped with a TV which has full access to all DSTV channels. The cottage overlooks a private leafy enclosed garden and swimming pool area which guests are welcome to also make use of. We provide your own secure parking behind a security gate. The cottage has its own entrance. All linen and bath towels supplied and changed once a week, a cleaning service is available upon request. DSTV and Wi Fi access is provided. I can also fill your fridge before your arrival. The cottage can accommodate 4 people... 2 in the queen bed and another 2 on the double bed sleeper couch in the lounge. It's R 750 for 1 or 2 people..... And R 1000.00 for 4. 50 % deposit and balance in cash on day of arrival. Kirstenhof is within a short drive to Cape Town, V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain & various Constantia wine farms. We are 10 minutes away from Muizenberg beach. We are also very close to Cape Point and 4 major golf courses ( Royal Cape, Steenberg, Clovelly and Westlake Golf Club). The beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden is only 15-20 minutes away. There are also several shopping centres within a few minutes drive.
