Stargazing in Goldfield is at the world-class level - on a clear night with no moon, 7,000 stars can be seen and the Milky Way is plainly visible. Bring your telescope (and warm jacket, as nights can be chilly, even in the summer)! Goldfield is at an elevation of 5,689 feet and is typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Las Vegas. You can take tours of the historic distric or the mining areas, shop for antiques or unique collectibles, hike, go off-roading or even pan for gold!
This house is located just 3 blocks from the historic downtown core of Goldfield, Nevada, site of America's last gold rush and the world's greatest gold camp. The world-famous Goldfield Hotel, believed to be the residence of over 100 ghosts, is an easy 5-block walk from the house. You're welcome to live it up at the hotel, as long as you are dead. Since the end of World War II, only ghosts are allowed into the hotel. Also nearby is the haunted Goldfield High School, the historic and beautiful court house building, a 105-year-old saloon, and many other historic sites and buildings.
