All linen and toiletries are organic. This sustainable artistic accommodation is powered by its own hydro electricity and solar energy. It is only a 20 minute drive from Launceston and its pristine surroundings make it the perfect place for a rejuvenating getaway. The Trig is located in a secluded area on a 50 acre bush and farm property. Dine on the deck on fine Tasmanian gourmet and organic produce. Enjoy amazing views across the rolling farms and bushland to the Tamar River and Bass Strait by day and spectacular sunsets and starry skies by night. Awake in the morning to the sounds of birds and watch the native wildlife grazing at your doorstep. Take a short bushwalk on the property or continue up Mountain Rd to follow the Mt Arthur track to the summit (5 hrs return). Curl up in front of the wood fire with a book, DVD or music. Perhaps indulge in a glass of local wine while bathing in the outdoor tub on the deck. The Trig is secluded, you wont see us unless you choose to! Only 13 minutes from Bridestowe Lavender Estate, 15 minutes from Jansz and Pipersbrook Vineyards. A large Coles supermarket is only a very short drive away. Getting AroundBuses are not far away, either in High St about 150m or down to Abbott St the same distance. Other Things to NoteThe sliding gate is opened by remote control. Please remember to leave the remote when you leave!     The Space39 Welman St is in arguably one of the best Streets in Launceston. It is very quiet and private, because it is solid brick it is very warm in the winter months and cool in the summer. All facilities are provided and all you need are your personal things, and a quick trip to stock up at the supermarket. It's a 5-7 min walk to cafe's and restaurants and a large supermarket is only 7 mins walk or quicker by car. With spectacular views and the best location you couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Launceston Aquatic, a new large indoor aquatic facility is located just 5 minutes walk from the property, providing all the facilities you would expect. Getting AroundPublic transport is available nearby and as you are so close to the city centre everything is only a short walk. 2 parking spaces are provided. The airport is only 15 mins from Launceston and a taxi is the easiest transport, but buses are available and can drop you within 5 mins of Welman Street, if you don't have a hire car. The bedding configuration is 1 King-size bed (which can be separated into 2 extra long singles), 1 queen bed a double bed and a single bed. There is 1 bathroom and 2 toilets. There are 2 living areas- a formal lounge room and a living area within the kitchen / dining. For those who enjoy cooking there is a wonderful Falcon stove with dual ovens. The gardens contain some wonderful olde worlde plants and trees. There is a deck off the living area. The property is a 200m walk to the suburb of Newstead which has shops, a supermarket, chemist, hotel, post office and restaurants. If you would prefer to go into Launceston central city it is a pleasant 2km walk past many of Launceston's finest heritage houses or a 5 minute drive.       Twyford 1923 Is a lovely Californian Bungalow (circa 1923 ) situated in one of Launceston's best dress circle residential areas - Elphin Road, Newstead. Twyford has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 9 guests.The property is located only 1.5 km from the centre of Launceston and is 200 metres to the delightful Newstead shopping centre which boasts a Coles Supermarket, Newsagency, Pharmacy, Post Office, some great eateries, award winning hairdressers and some of the city's best gift shops in Launceston. Off street parking is available for up to 3 cars and a bus stop nearby ensures guests have their Launceston travel needs covered! Twyford is is an award winning property and we have made sure to include all the extras to make your stay something special. The house has been renovated in keeping with the character of the period, but is fitted with all the modern conveniences. The gourmet kitchen is a delight for foodies and includes a dual fuel classic Falcon Stove, granite bench tops, "Farmers" cupboards and a double butler's sink. The Kitchen flows in to an open plan dining and living area with comfortable seating and a large LCD TV. Directly off the living area there is a great outdoor deck with outdoor setting and BBQ. A separate formal lounge room with LCD TV and DVD ensures that guests have their choice of entertainment. The formal lounge retains the timber paneling from the arts and crafts period which is a much admired feature of the property. This room also features classic leather chairs and a goose feather filled large club couch. The master bedroom's main feature is the unusual circa 1910 Nickel plated king size 4 poster bed- perfect for those looking for a touch of romance. The second bedroom is very large and has a king-size bed which can be split into king singles if required. This room also offers a 3rd bed roll-away option if required. Bedroom 3 offers a double bed and is furnished in the style of the period . A selection of reading materials to suit all tastes sits on the Tasmanian blackwood bookcase. Bedroom 4 is a single bedroom. For larger groups an additional ottoman pull out bed is available. A porta-cot and a high chair are also available at no additional charge. The bathroom is fully equipped and has been renovated to suit the period but has a great tiled walk in shower and of course a claw foot bath to soak in! Everything you will need for your stay is included, you only need your suite case and a quick trip to the supermarket for food and essentials. A large modern supermarket is located just a few minutes from the property, as is a great choice of great restaurants and cafe's. There is parking for two vehicles, full modern laundry facilities with dryer, and small rear garden with clothes line. The veranda at the front of the cottage is the place to sit and enjoy the views, and enjoy an afternoon glass of wine in the sun.               The SpaceYou will not be disappointed when you step inside this gorgeous newly renovated apartment with new furnishings as well as some beautiful antiques and quality local art works. There is a fully appointed kitchen with gas hot plates and brand new appliances. Also a separate laundry with new washing machine and there is an extra toilet downstairs. The bedrooms are roomy with lots of built in cupboards. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom, with a TV. There are two single beds in the second bedroom. Children are welcome, with some toys and books supplied for toddlers. A porta cot is also provided. The comfortable new sofa bed in the lounge room accommodates an extra couple. It is double bed size. The townhouse offers covered off street, on premises parking for one car at the back. Guest AccessFree NBN wifi internet. This downstairs apartment looks out over an established garden and has a private courtyard for outdoor relaxation. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed and bathroom with floor heating and very large walk -in shower. The sitting room includes a small dining area, arm chairs and a television. The kitchen has a full sized oven, dual hot plates, microwave and dishwasher and a full range of cooking equipment. There is wifi available through the NBN. Guest AccessEntry is via the laneway at the lower (downhill) edge of the property off Rintala Street. Head towards the bird bath at the end of the lane to reach the apartment entrance. Guests will be given a code to access the keys from a key locker on site. Interaction with GuestsI will occasionally be on site to greet new arrivals and am always just a call or text message away. The NeighborhoodNewstead is an inner suburb of Launceston, a quiet and peaceful area but still close enough to walk to the CBD if you are keen. Newstead shopping centre is a ten minute walk away with a Coles supermarket, pharmacy, pub, newsagent, Commonwealth bank and various shops. Or head along Abbott Street for 10 mins to the renowned Alps and Amici providore, or to Relish or the Maple Cafe for breakfast, lunch or coffee. A further 15 minutes walk and you are in the Launceston CBD Getting AroundMost visitors to Tasmania are driving their own or a hire car but there are also buses from the city centre that pass close by. The Metro no.s 38 and 50 travel along Penquite Road and no 55 travels along Abbott Street. Both require a walk of around one block to Little Batemans. Curraghmore Apartment's walls are peppered with original artworks which keep it interesting and give the apartment a unique feel. Recent kitchen and bathroom refurbishments ensure that all facilities are modern and comfortable. Particular attention has been paid to the bedroom, with a fabulous queen size bed, luxurious linen, allergy-free wool doonas for extra comfort, feather pillows and various throws and comforters available. For clients who choose to stay for more than three nights we like to offer a choice of an inhouse breakfast basket or a $20 gift voucher to our favourite local café. Full cooking facilities are part of the gourmet cook's kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwaher, microwave and loads of bench space. There is a lovely light-filled bathroom with lots of fluffy towels and large walk-in shower. Washing machine is available as is free wifi. We are 15 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes away from all major arterial highways. We live close by so we are available to help our guests as much or as little as they need. The NeighborhoodEast Launceston is a quiet leafy suburb that is still very close to the centre of the town. From the apartment it is a 5-10 minute walk into the CBD. There is also a free public bus that stops very close to the apartment. Getting AroundThe public bus service travels along High St which is a short walk from the apartment. Taxis are also only 5 mins away and there is never any problem getting one when you need it. It is approx $6 in a taxi into the CBD. Other Things to NoteThere is a park at the top of our hill and most evenings there is a trio of food vans that serve their products to the people that like to gather beneath the beautiful trees in the park. Some evenings there is also live music in the park. It has a fabulous playing area for children which is great for parents as they enjoy their food and let the kids play.
