The 1848 mellow brick stables once used for stabling the farm's heavy horses at Manor Farm have been expertly converted to create two self-catering cottages of a particularly high standard awarded 4 stars, Gold Award by Visit Britain. Looking out across a large gravelled courtyard they form part of a fascinating collection of Grade 1 listed, medieval buildings at Manor Farm in the pretty Hampshire village of Rockbourne. The cottages offer wonderful opportunities for walking on the farm – about 1,000 acres of arable and pasture land – using the marked foot and bridle paths, which cross open farmland and natural bluebell woodland. The two cottages are next to one another and can be booked individually or together, providing accommodation for up to 10 guests with a large, extendable dining table in Stable Cottage. The smaller of the two cottages, The Tallet, has been specially designed to offer level access for disabled visitors. Both cottages offer high quality accommodation, simply yet stylishly furnished and with the building's original timber structure a real feature in many of the rooms.

On the edge of the charming village of Martin, the most westerly parish in Hampshire, “Pippin” and “Russet” are the very appealing result of a thoughtfully planned conversion from a former farm building. The cottages stand in the owner's grounds, some distance away from the main house and offer ample privacy to their guests. They can be rented individually but are also very suitable for a larger group wishing to holiday together, with a self-contained, communal “barn” in between the two cottages providing an ideal space where larger parties can comfortably gather to eat or just relax. The barn also caters for an additional two guests on a double sofa bed when the cottages are booked jointly. “Russet” and “Pippin” occupy either end of a single storey building, approached by a winding gravel path across a large grassed area adjoining a paddock. Each cottage has its own fenced, private garden area while in between the cottages is the communal barn/games room. Communal barn/games room In between Russet and Pippin there is a large communal barn comprising a sitting area with woodburning stove, a games area with pool table, a dining area and a fully equipped fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is a separate shower room/wc. The barn is available, at no extra cost, to all guests using either cottage. When Russet and Pippin are booked jointly, the long pine refectory table will comfortably seat up to 10 guests, making the space ideal for large get-togethers and special celebrations. On these occasions, an extra two guests can, if required, be accommodated in the barn using the double sofa bed available, for which the cost is £250 per week or £200 per short break.

A quarter of a mile along an ancient Ox Drove, right on the borders of Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire, the Pink Tower commands panoramic views over the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from its cleverly designed 1st floor sitting room and 'look-out' balcony. The land immediately surrounding the tower and owner's adjoining cottage is part of a working farm (pigs and sheep) and the owner herself keeps ducks and horses. If you enjoy walking, riding or cycling this location is made for you with immediate access onto the Ox Drove, which extends for miles along a chalk ridge and offers stunning panoramas to the north over South Wiltshire's chalk valleys and downland and to the south across Hampshire and Dorset. The Pink Tower is octagonal in shape and provides unusual, interesting and highly attractive accommodation. The owner, a garden designer, has also brought her talents to bear in creating a pretty cottage garden with beds of roses and lavender. The Pink Tower was featured in The Guardian Travel series "Cool Cottages in the UK".

The SpaceAll Hallows is a Georgian farmhouse located on the outskirts of Wimborne St Giles. This historic village is home to the Earls of Shaftesbury and is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have a large garden that you are welcome to explore and set up a picnic in the summer months. In winter you can relax beside the log fire or sit in the kitchen beside the AGA. Bring your bicycles and explore the countryside or contact us if you would like to bring your horse as we have a turnout paddock and stabling. Guest AccessYou will have your own private room and bathroom. There is a guest sitting room with woodburning stove and plenty of logs. In the evenings you are welcome to chat whilst we cook in the kitchen and join us for a family supper. Interaction with GuestsThere is usually always somebody at home so we can help you with your questions. We also offer WiFi at no extra charge. The NeighborhoodThis is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for an experience of rural Dorset. We are situated just above the River Allen and the wildlife is spectacular. Enjoy herons, kingfishers, egrets, coots and mallards on the water. Then at dusk wait to see the Barn and Little owls. Wander past the water meadows and look out for Short-Eared owls. We are also ideally located for easy access to the Chalke Valley History Festival, Dorset Steam Fair, Dorset Chilli Festival, Colourfest, Larmer Tree Festival and End of the Road Festival and all are within ten-fifteen minutes car drive at the very most. Getting AroundWe have ample free parking outside of the house. You will need a car or we can arrange a taxi for you. There is limited bus service. Once you are here we can store your bicycles inside when not in use but if you are keen cyclists there are fantastic bridleways and trails. Other Things to NoteYour booking will include an AGA cooked farmhouse breakfast every morning. Do let us know if you have any dietary requirements or likes and dislikes. We do run cookery courses at All Hallows so at some times the kitchens may be in use between 9am and 5pm for those events but there is always tea, coffee and biscuits etc available in your room and we would always make sure that you had everything you needed beforehand.
