The room: Private room with a bed, desk and build in wardrobes. Transport: It's very close to transport – just a 5 minute walk to the train and buses. Surrounding areas: Rushcutters Bay, Double Bay, Kings Cross, Paddington and of course, the City Centre. WiFi: You will have access to a WiFi connection Grocery & shops: Also within 5 minutes are multiple grocery stores (incl ALDI & Coles), good coffee and food, a gym and more. Tea & Coffee: Help yourself to Tea and Coffee too. Getting AroundAlthough you have on-street parking permit for one vehicle UPON REQUEST, you actually don't need a car! Walk to nearby cafes, galleries & some of Sydney's best shopping. There is also a strip of boutique fashion shops and restaurants within walking distance. Getting AroundThe bus to Bondi Beach is 300m walk from the house. The train station 10 mins walk from the house via Trumper Park.

The Master and second (guest) bedroom(s) have Queen sized beds. The third bedroom has a single, fold out sofa bed. A cot is also available if required. Each room has an overhead fan and a small balcony. The deck has a view of the city skyline. The ideal base for people wanting easy access to the best of everything this city has to offer. Guest AccessIn addition to the house, there is a Mexican style courtyard garden in which guests can enjoy the morning sunshine. (The locked private office and storage area on that level does not form part of the rental.) Interaction with GuestsThe hosts will meet and welcome guests when possible. Otherwise they will be provided in advance with full instructions regarding access and collection/return of the house keys (on acceptance of booking). Folders and manuals are available for all appliances and equipment, including full instructions for the use of TV/Foxtel. There is a second television for free-to-air channels in the master bedroom. Regular bus services and the Eastern suburbs rain line provide rapid access to King´s Cross, the city, Darling Harbour and the new development at Barangaroo. You can walk to Double Bay, Paddington, Oxford Street and Kings Cross (via Rushcutters Bay Park). The 18 Footers sailing club and bay are at the bottom of the hill, four blocks away. Visitors are welcomed. Other Things to NoteEach booking is restricted to a maximum of five people, no extras permitted, for a minimum stay of two weeks. A washing machine, iron and ironing board are provided. The cost of a three hour house clean is included in the rental and is provided every 14 days at a mutually agreed and convenient time. Queen Room: A spacious room with queen bed with pillow top mattress (can sleep two guests comfortably) with quality Designer Egyptian cotton sheets. Large windows with view to trees with blinds, wireless internet, heater & fan. Your compact private shower room is a couple of steps across the hall fitted with shower unit, toiletries & bath towels. - Opal Card available Entire house may be available for increased fee - please enquire. General layout: My little house is comfortable so you can make your self at home and put your feet up or snuggle on the sofas with a rug. The house is compact and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs next door to each other, combined kitchen, lounge and dining downstairs and laundry with washing machine, courtyard for drying clothes. It is a cute little house in a quiet culdersac with treelined streets, you would never know that you are so close to the city. Courtyard to sit in and eat, very friendly safe neighbourhood. Two loving little cats a little shy but very friendly- we LOVE them and you will too! Kitchen includes: Fully equipped kitchen that you are very welcome to use. Milk, Tea, Coffee, Coffee machine, Butter, Salt, Pepper, Spices- all of your basics included with booking. Pool: Beach towels are provided and super comfy padded beds to work on those tans. The pool is mainly salt water with a little chlorine and gets sun all day. Community pool so there are other neighbours who use this area occasionally. Great to sit around on a sunny winter day as it gets sun all day. Parking: There is free street parking available I work from home so am about a fair bit. Guest AccessContinental breakfast of organic cereals, yogurt, fruit, nuts, tea, coffee machine, juice, toast & spreads available. Gluten or dairy free can be catered for upon request. Fully equipped kitchen and basic items. Laundry with washing machine and courtyard to dry clothes. Beach towels, umbrellas, pool items, shopping and beach bags, rain ponchos. Toiletries includes soaps, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryers, medical kit with bandaids aspirin etc, sunscreen, insect spray. Lounge with TV, courtyard. WIFI included (no movie downloads please) Basically if you forgot it or don't have it - I will! Interaction with GuestsI am happy to respect your privacy or give you full guidance on the best places to see, explore, eat and meander through in my fabulous city. I can advise on off the tourist track destinations and cheaper ways to get about. I have maps and brochures for you and on booking you will receive a full run down on Sydney, money, travel, transport and more. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is safe, giant old Moreton Bay fig trees line the streets, alive with bird song, surrounded by a small forest, friendly, arty, close to everything you need, nice people, close to the harbour and city. You can walk from the house across to Rushcutters Bay - 10 minutes - to the harbour foreshore and see the Harbour Bridge. Paddington was workers cottages originally so there are lots of little terraces, winding streets and laneways and is full of character. The area used to be a sandstone quarry. Please note that we are in a valley and it is an uphill walk to all public transportation/shops Getting AroundThere is a lot of public transport around our area. If you walk up hill to Hargrave St (5 min walk) the 389 bus runs from Bondi Beach to Circular Quay & we are in the middle of the bus route. We are minutes walk to Edgecliff Station which has the Inner city train line that starts at Bondi Junction (Westfield), Edgecliff Station (our stop), Kings Cross (nightlife), Martin Place (city), Town Hall (city), Central (main station where all trains go). We are also a 10 minute walk to Oxford St where you can catch a 378 all the way to Bronte Beach or the 380 or 333 which run from Bondi Beach- Circular Quay (main buses of the Eastern Suburbs). Ferries depart from Circular Quay to view our sublime Harbour. I have a local map and a Sydney map printed for you to use with busses, restaurants etc on it to help you get about. Other Things to NoteI really enjoy hosting my guests and make an effort to ensure that your visit is great. The little house is clean and tidy but not so pristine that you cannot put your feet up and relax. Please note that I do not have cleaning fees or fees for more than 1 person - price is all inclusive. And includes breakfast goods daily. Come and go as you please and no need to tiptoe about. Paddington is such a wonderful place, with such diversity and so much on offer. The famous Paddington markets are a short walk away, there are a number of parks in the area, there are an endless number of boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, bars. The street itself is so peaceful you would not think such a hub of activity if just around the corner. Getting AroundThere are many places within walkable distance. If you require a train station Edgecliff station is only a 15 minute walk away. Edgecliff station is one stop away from Bondi Junction, or in the other direct is the City, with stops to other great suburbs en route. In addition buses go from Hargrave St to Bondi Beach or the City. Should you be driving there are certain parking areas on Hargrave Street that are limited to 2 hour parking, but most of it is unlimited parking. The flooring throughout the living areas in the house is beautifully polished timber giving a glow to the furnishings and the artwork that abounds in this house. At each turn you make in this residence you will find an eclectic art collection on the walls to delight you. There are also many pieces of sculpture to admire. The living room with comfortable seating has a large Sony wall mounted TV with Foxtel and a DVD player installed for your relaxing and viewing pleasure. The new streamlined kitchen has a Caesar-stone worktop with all modern units and fittings. The four-burner gas cooktop and the electric oven are both ‘Electrolux’ and a large fridge freezer combine with other equipment to help you prepare your favourite recipes. Traditional comfortable furnishings and modern equipment in this home offer the very best of the past and present living standards. Walk through the kitchen towards the yard and you enter the laundry room which looks out on to a private courtyard; here there is outdoor seating for you to enjoy a morning coffee (made on your own machine) on a warm sunny day. The dining room has a round table to seat four (or five if required). There is a gas fire with flames in this room adding warmth to the house during the cooler winter months. The two bedrooms both have queen-sized beds. The main bedroom has a ceiling fan, for warm or hot weather, a balcony with twin doors that open wide with the sight of many local trees, always verdant and multi-coloured. This is truly a very pleasant outlook. There is a wardrobe with shelving and hanging rails for garments. It has two (2) bedrooms; the master bedroom is large with a new king-sized West Elm sleigh bed, whilst the 2nd is somewhat smaller (queen bed) but still suitable for two guests. Maximum guests permitted - 4 (strict). No parties. Guest AccessThe apartment has wifi, HD cable, a washer & dryer...new kitchen and is within walking distance to the bus, train and ferry. Both bedrooms have new beds and linen. A new sofa arrived recently and is not highlighted in current pics. Interaction with GuestsI will normally be nearby and able to assist with inquiries or requests but you will have the place to yourself. The NeighborhoodDouble Bay is a cosmopolitan neighbourhood; it's alive with cafes, bars and restaurants. My apartment is within walking distance to everything you will need during your stay & an easy 10 minute commute to the City by either bus, train or ferry. Getting AroundYes...bus, train & ferry. Other Things to NoteA lock-up garage can be arranged for a nominal fee otherwise visitor / street parking can be utilised. The key "fobs" provided, if lost/misplaced, incurs a $100 charge. This is the fee charged by the Strata Agent not me. Sorry.
