Based in a period building in the Florentine district of Tel Aviv it is within easy walking distance to the best attractions of this exciting city – the beach, Neve Tzedek, and Rothschild Boulevard. The building itself is authentic, but not in a good state of repair, but our studios within are very clean, modernized and comfortable, and the area itself is very safe.
There is a lot to see and do in Florentine where we are, and the surrounding areas, and all within walking distance.
FLORENTINE is the fun neighborhood of Tel Aviv, old, shabby and authentic, full of historic buildings and Bauhaus architecture, cafes, bars, restaurants and ice cream parlors. Most of these stay open till the early hours so the area is popular with the young Tel Avivians. During the day there is market style shopping in the neighboring Levinski Street for groceries, nuts and spices and many other goods at local prices, popular with the old Tel Avivians.
The BEACH is just a 10 minute walk away. This is at the south of the 5km stretch of the Tel Aviv beaches and they tend to be quieter compared to the central or northern beaches, and are ideal for a morning walk and dip into the Mediterranean, followed by breakfast by the sea with views to old Jaffa to the south and modern Tel Aviv to the north.
NEVE TZEDEK is Tel Aviv’s oldest quarter, from whence the rest of Tel Aviv branched out. It is over 120 years old and is only a 3 minutes’ walk. Today it has become an affluent area, full of galleries, boutiques, street cafes and restaurants, but still retains many of its original features and character. Next to it is the historic Jaffa train station (Hatachana) which was recently renovated into a glorious piazza with bars, restaurants and exclusive shopping.
ROTHCHILD BOULEVARD is 10 minutes by foot. This is the real heart of Tel Aviv and can be enjoyed pretty much 24 hours a day. You can experience beautiful surroundings in a mix of old Bauhaus and eclectic buildings with new high tech glass skyscrapers. It is a lively place, buzzing with people of all ages taking in the cafes and restaurants, or just strolling along the middle of the tree lined street at all hours, day and night.
OLD JAFFA is a 10 minutes’ walk and apart from the old city, it has a vibrant flea market so is definitely worth a visit. In the night, the Jaffa Flee Market transforms into a popular nightspot. The Jaffa port is also a lively spot, both day and night.
PRICES are set to provide excellent value for staying in a classic, clean and comfortable self-contained studio in the perfect location to enjoy Tel Aviv to the full with no need to get on the bus or in a taxi. There are also further discounts for weekly or monthly stays.
