The SpaceBellago has magnificent views of Lake Eildon. Other Things to NoteNo pets allowed The road on the property is a gravel road. It is steep in parts and it is therefore recommended that you have a 4WD vehicle. No smoking in the house. No motorbikes or dirt bikes on the property.

The SpaceYou know we are only 40 minutes from Mt Buller/Mt Stirling. With ski season coming up, our home could be just what you are looking for... Artists, Friends and Family say there is something very special about this property. We really are only the custodians. This space is for people to relax, enjoy, rejuvenate and dream. The surroundings are spectacular in a cull surrounded by hills, with views to the lake. There is a fabulous Mandela vegetable garden (help yourself-strawberries are in season). Pick your fruit from the lemon, lime , grapefruit and orange trees. Grapes straight from the vine into your breakfast cereal - like I did this morning! There are 4 bedrooms, sunroom, bathroom, toliet, kitchen, dining and living room. You are just down the road from the Tallarook to Mansfield rail trail, or you can walk, cycle to Bonnie Doon. There's an abundance of wildlife, fabulous views and just plain country living at its best! We have our own 3 sheep on the property, they keep to themselves. You have access to use of the whole house, whilst you stay. As your hosts, we will make sure our home is warm and inviting for you. Help yourself to a 'Leg of Local Lamb' from our freezer. Enjoy! What we love about the neighbourhood, is that our neighbours are nearby and we all keep an eye out for each other. It's a very friendly place - Bonnie Doon - and you will be made to feel most welcome. It is the 'Serenity' - the 'Castle' (that classic Australian family film ) is just 5 mins down the road. You will need your own car to get around. Fancy picking grapes straight from the vines to add to your breakfast cereal, then just step outside the house.... there's strawberry patches around our home - pick and pop into your champagne. You are most welcome to pick the produce that is in season ... Also, note, we have an amazing spice drawer - please use what you need. That goes for the pantry as well. Linen is provided. So, really you just have to get yourselves here, settle in and stock up on supplies in Mansfield. The basic supplies (tea, coffe, milk, sugar, oil etc are here for you to use). Guest AccessGuests will have access to the full house. There is no access to shed or office. Interaction with GuestsWe will ensure that our home will produce the aahs upon your arrival! There will be a welcoming letter with list of the in/outs of the house, the area etc.Arrangements for key collection will be made prior. Any problems just give us a call and we can sort out. The NeighborhoodWhat I love is that everyone looks out for each other and their properties. You do not have the feeling of isolation, yet are far enough away that you have your own privacy. Getting AroundThere is no public transport. You will need your own car to get around. The nearest town of Bonnie Doon is just over 5 mins by car and Mansfield is 20 mins away. Other Things to NoteOur home is not precious - it has a loved in feeling. It has a lot of character, which we hope you enjoy....some parts are a tad jaded, that's life. We are not a boutique accommodation as reflected in our pricing....

The SpaceNestled in a valley, there are 14 acres to explore. The lake is a short drive away and pubs, shops, etc are a 10-15min drive. The caravan has a double bed, a dining area that converts to two single beds and a kitchen stocked with the essentials, a gas oven/cooktop and fridge with a small freezer compartment. In winter the gas fridge keeps the caravan surprisingly warm all night and boiling the kettle on the stove quickly brings the caravan up to toasty warm. There is an outdoor toilet (a nice one!) with a small water tank behind it. You are welcome to use the water for hand washing and dishes but please note the tank may be empty from time to time. The property slopes up from the road and there is a gully to explore (complete with a mossy wombat labyrinth) and if you are sure footed you can scramble up to the top of the ridge for AMAZING views over Lake Eildon -throw a picnic in a backpack and enjoy the view from the top! Extras are welcome to camp, there is a large level area around the caravan with drive on access. Please note this is totally off the grid: NO power or water. Battery/solar lighting is provided but you MUST bring your own drinking water.     The SpaceThis is our holiday home that we're happy to share with others when family and friends aren't using it. It's a large 5 bedroom house on two levels, with the master bedroom, ensuite, kitchen, dining and living area upstairs. The living room includes a bar and pool table, and you're welcome to help yourself to the wood pile to get a fire going in winter. Upstairs the deck looks out onto Lake Eildon (a great spot to sit with a coffee in the morning) and there's a gas bbq too for feeding hungry families. The four other bedrooms (one with ensuite) and bathroom with washing machine are downstairs. Stepping into the front door, most people think they've been transported back to the 1960's -- with wood panelling, slate tiles and a large open fire. Whether you're staying for three days or three weeks you'll quickly feel a part of the space. It's not fancy or flash, but just like a favourite pair of jeans, you'll feel comfortable, relaxed and at home. Perfect for families water skiiing in the warmer months, and in the snow season it's less than an hour to Mt Buller. Guest AccessYou'll have the run of the entire home and property. There are plenty of cupboards and enough storage space for everyone. There's just three cupboards and wardrobes which are locked (our stuff for when we come to stay), but apart from that it's all yours. The back-yard leads down to the lake... but a word of warning, the driveway at the rear of the house is really steep! In wet weather, unless your car is a 4WD we'd recommend using the two parking spaces at the front of the house. The NeighborhoodA quiet nieighbourhood on the lake side of Bonnie Doon. In the summer months you can sometimes hear the distant hum of speedboats on the lake, but most of the time the only sounds are that of native birds and wildlife. Aaaaahhhh... the serenity.

Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 7 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it. If your booking is made within 7 days of your arrival dates, payment is required in full. Cancellation within 48 hours; if caused by the client; money paid is not refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire period. A refund will be issued if the property is re-let for the period. A $50 cancellation fee will apply. The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked.
