The SpaceNOTE: New leather Sofa Love seat combo in FEB 2014! Sorry, not reflected in photos yet but you will love em!!! Villas Rio Dulce #9 has been the MOST POPULAR RENTAL with the highest occupancy rate in the Villas Rio Dulce condo building for the past 3 years. The reasons: - Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 3rd floor faces both the Rio Dulce river and the jungle on the opposite side. It's right in front of the world famous Colorados surf break. - Jungle views from the riverbed to the mountaintop! Wake up to an instant surf report with a DIRECT VIEW OF THE COLORADOS SURF BREAK from your Master Bedroom window or the extremely private balcony. - A MEASURE OF PRIVACY is afforded that is not provided by most other units. It has elevator or stairs access to it's 3rd floor location. It is an OUTSIDE, CORNER unit with only the jungle to the south and the Colorados surf break in front and to the west. There is no foot traffic that looks into or constantly walks past your unit throughout the day! Begin and end each day in complete privacy, peace and quiet, after your busy & draining surfing adventures! - A CONSTANT off shore BREEZE from Lake Nicaragua to the east sweeps over the mountains and flows gently through the jungle facing windows that comprise the entire south length of the unit. This virtually eliminates the need for AC and allows you to enjoy a comfortable tropical fresh air feel throughout your stay! Feel free to use the AC that each room in the unit provides. However, since it is not necessary in this elevated & breezy unit, you can enjoy the tropical breezes that you came here for in the first place.....And remember the privacy!!! - A substantially UPGRADED AND CUSTOM FURNITURE package was acquired for our home! The standard builder package purchased by most unit owners does not compare! Most important are HIGH END PLUSH MATRESSES that guarantee a super comfortable sleep and rejuvenation after a full day's pounding by the waves. This is of the highest priority for any surfer! In addition, we have selected gallery quality driftwood pieces from the nearby beach and river bed as well as several Nicaraguan themed 'Primitivista' framed oils from Luis Alvarado. He is widely regarded as the country's top artist in that genre. All in an effort to provide our home with a decorator's touch and a 'home away from home' feel not typically associated with a vacation rental. The couch and chair cushions are brand new as of November 2012. - With our condo's south, southeast orientation, the hot afternoon sun is not a factor with this unit. Unlike other units there is NO need to close the drapes to block out the sun, shut the windows and crank the AC during that time of day. - Our 3 bedroom can be configured as 1 king & 4 twins, 2 kings and 2 twins, or as 6 twins. - Our fully stocked kitchen has stainless steel refrigerator & stove. Coffee Maker, Microwave, blender, ice cube trays, and a complete array of cooking utensils, dishes and silverware, etc. - A flat screen TV with Claro satellite, DVD, IPod dock stereo, and LIBRARY OF 1000+ MOVIES, various HBO & Showtime series, and over 3000 songs from various artists is also provided. - An ON-SITE MANAGER In THE BUILDING to handle any type of short term needs and/or extra-curricular activities. Day trips could include: Area eco-tours, yoga, manicure, massage, Spanish language lessons, local musicians, fishing trips, mountain climbing, horseback riding, zip lines, volcano hikes, bike and motorcycle rentals, etc. - Hacienda Iguana is one of the top surfing venues in Nicaragua. Strong winds that originate from Lake Nicaragua to the east, flow over the mountains, and head offshore 330+ days a year, 24 hours a day! Colorados is a now famous world class surf break. Panga Drops is a short 5 minute walk up the beach from there. Colorados is a fast, multi-peaked, barrelling beach break. Panga Drops is a tamer A-framing reef & rock break. There are several other quality breaks in the area that we can arrange boats to. General amenities available include: - a private community beachside pool restaurant/bar/seating area for lounging, swimming and watching sunsets. - several excellent area restaurants to visit for fabulous food and amazing vistas. - discounted membership rates at the 10 hole, well maintained and manicured tropical jungle golf course on-site, and at reduced rates. - Fully cooked Meal Plans available. - Wireless internet and satellite TV. - Transportation to and from the airport in Managua as well as around the local area. - Fresh fish and lobster delivered to your door. The SpaceSMALL AIRY LITTLE HOUSE WITH SITTING ROOM. Steps away is a very clean and orderly bathroom and kitchen. Right on one of the loveliest beaches in the Americas. Surf in the front yard or walk to any of five surf spots near by. Restaurants, shops, and fresh fish for sale are all just a short walk away. You have use a fully stocked kitchen. There is a nice inside shower. And a nice outside one to use after beach time. Gigante is NOT San Juan del Sur. The locals still hugely outnumber the guests and they mostly fish for a living. We can arrange to meet you in Rivas or the airport to make getting here less of a hassle. There are several restaurants and there are some bars that stay open late and get wild and crazy sometimes. There are several places to rent surfboards. I rent motos for $20 The easiest way to get here is via taxi from Rivas. $20 dollars. Ask for Chele Palmado's or Dale Dagger's Make sure you turn RIGHT on the only street in town. I'm behind a green gate and are right on the beach. I'm pretty well know in town so you should have no trouble. We can also meet your flight at the airport. laid back and be comfortable vibe pretty much sums up what my places are all about. Guest AccessWe have several separate houses that all share the same amenities like clean well equipped kitchen, well maintained bathrooms and indoor and outdoor showers to get the sand off. Walk five min and your on the most beautiful surfing beach in the Americas. I've spent twenty plus years finding surfing beaches in the Americas and this is where I stopped looking and started building. There are several chill spots on the property. Comfy rocking chairs, hammocks and tables to work on. Cool, shady and airy. Interaction with GuestsRight now I have a 100% Nicaraguan crew. That means you get a full Nica experience. We can help you rent surfboards, get surf lessons, Massage and spa treatment at Nica prices or rent you a moto scooter. We are also good friends and neighbors with the local Spanish School. Getting AroundHow to act: Remember this is a very small community and you are a part of it. Please be civil and neighborly. The people who got here before you can help tune you in. Other guests can tell you the places they like to eat, drink and get supplies. Ask other guests what shelf in the frig you can use as well as where is best to store other food items. My staff would love to help you also, so practice a few key words first using the translator on your device and give it a go. Where to eat: Standing on the beach. looking at the ocean, if you turn right you will come to a small hill we call the LOMA. At the bottom of the Loma is Mana Lynn’s and the Gigante Spanish Language School. Dona Lynn cooks Nica style meals over a wood fire. Everything is good. Consult the white board for options. Ask the price before you order, sometimes there is confusion over the price. They are a good source for close, cold beer. Bring your own bottle to trade so you can get a cheaper price. If you turn left right at the front fence and follow it across the river you will come to the Bar Cascada. This short cut keeps you from having to walk thru Dona Lynn’s. Cascade sells ice cold beer to go and tacos, burritos and chicken dinners. All very good. Remember that we reuse the beer bottles in Nicaragua so to avoid paying a deposit take a bottle from the bucket in the largest chill zone. Look around you will see it. Buena Vista is at the top of the Loma and offers a commanding view of the sunset and beach to the north. The food is good. Now, if you were to turn left on the beach, right next door you can get a drink from 4 to 8 and have a great third floor view. Continue south on the beach and you will come to Mirador Margarita’s. This is a beachfront restaurant that doesn’t serve margaritas but the fish is some of the best in town. The reason for this is the fish processing plant is owned by the same family. It is just next-door on the inland side. You can buy fresh fish here also. Now leaving the beach and walking down the road to the right and the center of town you will come to Blue Sol. They have Wifi, TV and an upstairs dining room. Some guests love the food and others say it’s just passable. Service is inconsistent. Across the street Kitty Corner is an un-named restaurant. Dotina Cachita cooks wonderful meals but bring a good book. It takes awhile. Next-door is the Eskimo Ice Cream store! Across the street is Mar y Mar. Another place offering typical Nica style foods. They were really popular till they installed the JukeBox. Sometimes the noise is just a bit much. About another block down the road is Michelle’s. This is the “fancy” place in town. Weekends are full of people from Managua. They have proper drinks and an extensive menu . I’ve eaten there twice. Party Wave has smoothies and lunch specials on the right side of the street. The next restaurant down the road is “Juntos” pronounced who n tos. Canadian run bar and restaurant, that is probably the most popular in town. They have oven fired pizza on Fridays and they really work hard on quality and service. Then you have The Hostel which is called Camino Gigante. The restaurant is there and they have food. Most everyone goes for the drinking. Tons of people. Wednesday is open mike night with local talent. In this little town, it is a big deal. Next door to the Hostel is Giant’s Foot surf tours. They are only open to the public on Monday for Burger Night. Go early and and the rush. Many places rent surfboards, I recommend Doug at Salty’s Surfboard Rentals. Go all the way into town on the only road till you have to turn left. There he is. Other Things to NoteWelcome to Dale’s Cool Places, How to find it on your own: There is a Bus that leaves the Rivas Mercado at 1:30 PM and arrives in front of my places to stay at 3:30. You can also catch a cab from Rivas for about 500 cordobas. Be sure to have your driver turn right on the only street in town. I am 300 meter down the road right on the beach behind green gates. Keep your eyes open for a sign because sometimes the gates are open . The easiest way to get here is to have a driver meet your flight. If is during working hours, he will take you also to a large store for shopping and to use an ATM. This costs $85 and is easy. There is a well equipped communal kitchen to share so you can cook your own breakfast, etc. Send us the dates and time as you get closer to your arrival dates if you wish to have us arrange this service. If you are in the Two bedroom house or the Casita you will have your own kitchen.

The SpaceSimple airy two bedroom that easily sleeps six. Located right on the beach in the small fishing village of El Gigante, this is close to both the restaurants and shops of town and great access to surf. It’s just on the outskirts of town, the last house on the beach. The,sometimes monkey filled, trees, shade the house and make it nice and cool in the afternoons. What really makes this a neat place to stay is you have easy access to various restaurants a few shops and great surf. You won't find that at any place in the area even at the tall dollar places your basically stuck inside this gated Gringo Community. Playa Gigante has real charm and real Nicaraguan culture. Surf is a couple hundred yard walk to the north along Amarillo beach ( the most beautiful beach in Nicaragua) and walking a leisurely 30 min you pass two other breaks, one of which is Slackers ,a high tide beauty, on your way to Playa Colarado and Panga Drops. The beach right in town is protected by the Giant's Foot that sticks out into the Pacific and there a calm waters for swimming in the centre of the bay. In front of our place most of the local surfers rode their first waves. It's a sweet little wave and it's never crowded. Meet the fishermen right on the beach and buy fresh fish and lobsters. Fruit and veggie truck arrives daily Close walk to four surf spots, five restaurants and two grocery stores. A little town with lots to offer This house can sleep eight but if your bigger group, we also rent out other rooms on the same property. Nothing quite like waking up right on the beach. You sleep to the sound of surf and wake to the sound of Howler Monkeys in the trees The NeighborhoodWe are off the path well traveled. Your going to have to take a cab from Rivas or we can arrange to have your flight met. Gigante just got it's first bus that connects it to Rivas twice a day. There is a local truck that take the local kids to school in Tola. It is a ride in to the closest town of any size and is for the seasoned budget traveler or those searching for cultural experiences. The SpaceAn eco friendly off the grid Vacation/surf rental. Amazing retreat pad, killer view, infinity pool. Yoga/chill deck, View of the valley and Ocean as well as Costa Rica across the ocean in the distance. 10 Minute walk to the beach through the river valley and jungle with the monkeys and birds. 3 surf breaks, Colorado's, Ponga Drops and the closest but rocky right hander Los Paros. Beach break on the whole beach. You can rent surf boards at the shop next the golf Pro shop. Open plan house with 3 walls. Super private at the top of La Vista [last house] Sun rises across the valley early but bamboo blinds keep most of the light out and the house is in the shade from 10am on. An early surf or swim is a great way to start the day, and mid morning breakfast and a nap in the hammock with your favorite person or the illusive cat house cat. Kitchen is fully set, blender, toaster, stove top espresso pot, gas stove and fridge. Freezer makes ice and can hold 5 days of frozen meat and a water dispenser. Not many rules, just no sand in the pool or shower, no cigarette butts anywhere and composting is crucial to keep waste clean and minimal......... Biodegradable soaps and dish liquids are preferred. There is also a 4 day minimum. Hope this provides enough info, if you need more please ask. Thanks, Jeff Guest Accessfull use of the house Interaction with GuestsI interact a fair amount to make sure they get what are expecting and what they will need for there trip. The NeighborhoodVery quiet get away.......neighbours are not close. 8 houses on the drive up, but none with in 200 meters. There are 3 restaurants with in the 20 minutes for the place, one at the beach which is 5 minutes drive and a few out on the road. And a few in Iguante. We can also organize a fishing or surfing boat trip as well as horse back rides and Surf board rentals at NSR. You can also rent motorbikes at NSR Getting AroundCasa Fresca is approx 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Managua. The last 2 towns along the way are Rivas and Tola. Rivas is the last suggested supply stop if you where not lucky enough to get it done in Grenada which is recommended. There is minimal shopping in Tola, but a good fruit and veggie stand at the park on your way by. From Tola, you will head west towards the beach and follow signs for Iguana Beach which is approx 35 minutes. La Vista does have signs but it is inside the Iguana gate. Once inside the Iguana gate, La Vista will be on your right. Follow the road to the dense wooded area and cross the river. Casa Fresca will be at the top of the hill and the last house in the valley. Jose is the care taker and does not speak english. Zack is a friend and boat captain and tour guide that can help with anything you need and speaks English well. You will need a car if you plan of exploring the coastal towns, but walking is just fine locally to the beach etc..... Other Things to NoteCONSERVE WATER AND USE BIO SOAP PLEASE :)

The SpaceWe are family friendly, friend friendly, group friendly, we are just friendly! Perfect for birthday celebrations, family reunions, friends re-union, yoga groups, wellness groups, honeymooners, girl’s or boy’s getaway! The extremely clean (1850 sq. ft.) villa sleeps 8 comfortably and is a popular vacation destination. The closeness to nature is simply amazing, wake up early and enjoy your coffee on the deck and watch the howler monkeys, the colorful parrots, watch for whales and dolphins in the Pacific Ocean. The Villa is high in the canopy and some of our guests say “it is like living in a tree house.” The Living Room has satellite television. All the furniture is top quality and handmade in Nicaragua. Enjoy quality linens and pillows (no feathers), well-appointed towels and beach towels; your “home away from home” equipped with everything you need to make your vacation one to remember! Guests should plan a quick stop in Managua at the grocery store for your food items, Flor de Cana Rum, Tona lager and cigars from Estelí (for the full Nica experience) You will also be able to keep the fridge and cabinets full of snacks. **Better yet having access to a kitchen can be a lifesaver when traveling with someone who has special dietary needs. Please note * there is A/C in the Upstairs Suite and in the adjoining bedrooms on the main floor. The main house and the main floor suite do not have A/C. Some people love A/C, others do not - our Villa is suited for everyone! Guest Access*Our guests have full access to the Villa, except for the laundry room. If you would like laundry done please ask Zoila, the fee is $5.00 USD a load. Please pay Zoila directly. You will be awestruck with our secluded beach. Playa Redonda is one of a few "swimmable" beaches in the area. Most days the water is calm for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling. Enjoy a yoga class; the setting is spectacular overlooking the ocean. Indulge yourself with a massage in a truly tranquil setting, wonderful ocean breezes and the magical sounds of the ocean. All activities offered by Aqua are payable to Aqua. Take advantage of all or some of what they have to offer, if you wish. For tremendous value pack a picnic and your beverages and enjoy the beach and play in the waves. Relax, beach comb, sleep, enjoy the inner solitude, people watch and get your exercise on the walk back up to the villa as there are inclines. Enjoy the Villa during the day and/or go on an excursion, come “home” grab a flashlight (provided) and go the beach – if you are lucky you will either see beautiful female turtles building their nests and laying their eggs (do not disturb them with light or noise please) OR you may see baby turtles hatching and you may be honored to help them make it to the ocean safely. Interaction with GuestsThe Villa has reliable Property Management and daily house cleaning (our maid works every day except for 1/2 day Sat. and day off on Sunday). The Property Manager will greet you, give you a tour of the Villa, give you your keys and be available for you in case you need help with anything that may occur in regards to the Villa. We do not live on site, but of course we are always available to assist you with your needs before you arrive and while you are here. We love to ensure that you have a perfect vacation! ENJOY your privacy, one of the amazing advantages of "having your own space". The NeighborhoodNicaragua is the Safest Country in Central America. You have discovered Paradise in an eco-conscious gated community on the Pacific Riviera. The infrastructure is well maintained with paved roads. The trees were preserved and the monkeys and other animals flourish in their natural habitat. You will see hawks, owls, colorful parrots, monkeys, iguanas, butterflies and beautiful flora and fauna. There is no light pollution - you will be absolutely amazed at the starry night skies. ***Location, Location, Location! *** * We are neighbors with Guacalito Spa Resort and 18 hole Golf course, we share a beach with Aqua Wellness Resort. There is another 9 hole golf course at Iguana approx. 30 mins away. Golf clubs can be rented. Gigante is a 20 min walk away or 10 min by car and your vacation dollars go a long way in this area. Gigante offers beachfront restaurants, fish markets (buy fresh fish and lobster), mini grocery store and boats to charter for fishing and surfing (rent a surfboard or body board). Go for a sunset catamaran cruise, go horseback riding along the ocean. Enjoy all that our amazing piece of Paradise has to offer and have the luxury of having "your own villa" for peace, tranquility and a place to call "home". Getting AroundI can help you secure transportation to and from the airport; our driver is a fabulous tour guide, I would be happy to offer advice on tours and places of interest, if you wish. Edgar will even stop at a great grocery store in Managua so you can stock up for your stay at the Villa. Do you want to go shopping in fabulous Masaya, go to the Masaya Volcano, tour Granada for a day, take a ferry to Ometepe? There is so much to explore if you so desire, let me know what you would like to do and I will help you with transportation and prices. Unleash your adventurous spirit - discover Nicaragua! "Learn and appreciate the culture, have an open mind, be flexible....and have fun!" Major airlines run daily connections into Nicaragua Managua International Airport (MGA). We do not suggest self-drive in Nicaragua at night as the navigation, lighting, and road traffic are challenging. If you are renting a car at the airport The car will be brought round to the front of the terminal. Load up, get going. On leaving the airport TURN RIGHT! Go straight over 2 roundabouts and keep going straight on until the road widens out to four lanes. On the left hand side you will see a place selling huge garden statues. Shortly after that, go RIGHT. This right turn is approx. 10 minutes from the airport. Go straight on for about 25 minutes. You'll go straight over a number of intersections. Eventually you'll come to a junction – GO LEFT following the signs for MASAYA. Go straight over the first roundabout. There’s a gas station on the right and a Tip Top fried chicken fast food place the other side. There’s a MAXI PALI 50 yards after the roundabout on the right hand side. Keep going straight on over several junctions until you get to another roundabout. Take the first exit to the right. You will see a Purina factory on the left hand side of the road. Then the road winds left and climb for about 7-8 minutes to the village of Catarina where you’ll see lots of plants and nurseries. Keep going straight and you'll arrive at a roundabout. Take the second exit. Feels like a left. You'll soon see the Mombacho volcano in front of you. You'll go downhill, with the volcano ahead. Keep going straight until the road arrives at a large triangle. Take the fork to the right. Ten minutes later you'll get to another triangle. Take the fork to the LEFT. You are now on the Pan-American. You keep going straight on until you get to Rivas. Rivas is 45 minutes from our Casa Turn right at first major intersection, there are no streetlights and you can only turn right or go straight. Do not go straight. At the next intersection take a right following the signs of which there are plenty (Tola, Guacalito, Hacienda Iguana, Rancho Santana. Aqua Wellness, Gigante Bay Keep going straight to Tola, about 10 minutes. Directly after the park in Tola, turn LEFT. There are multiple signs (Guacalito, Iguana, Santana, Aqua Spa) Go straight about 150 meters, then turn RIGHT. You will see alot of signs, again. You’re on the home straight now. You will pass the resort Guacalito and just keep going until you see the main entrance of Redonda Bay. (There is a white gate, to your left, please tell the guard at the gate you are going to Casa #20(veinte) Greg and Judy Clark. Don't say the name of the Villa; they know us by our personal names. Beware that there’s a lot of work on the road at the moment. The bad news is that it is a 2 1/2 hr. drive – the good news is that you're 2 1/2 hrs. from city strife! You can't be “away from it all” if you are not “away from it all!” Other Things to NoteWhen you ARRIVE at our gate (it is white) tell the guard "Judy Clark Casa 20" (veinte) Casa del Paraiso is located in Buccaneer Point Casa #20, Tola, Rivas, Nicaragua, The area is called Redonda Bay, "The Pacific Riviera". Redonda Bay is located on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua 125 km north along the coastline from San Juan del Sur. We are located in between Guacalito de la Isla and the coastal fishing and surfing community of Playa Gigante. We are neighbors with Aqua Wellness Resort and share the beautiful beach. Access is through the cities of Tola and Rivas. Cash is King in Nicaragua. The last ATM is at Tola before you get to the Villa. (35 mins) Most places at the beach take cash, some take credit cards. If you do rent a vehicle a 4 wheel drive is recommended. Ask about the availability of a private chef. The chef is not my employee and she runs her own business. If our guests would like a private chef we would like to help accommodate that for you if we can, and we also want to help Celina with her business. The discussion will be between you and the chef, she sets the price and you pay her directly.

The SpaceThis is a nice little room. It's steps from the beach with a Spanish language school and local restaurant as it's closest neighbors. There is a bar across the way and once a month they turn up the music. Go join the party or wait it out. Guest AccessYou will have access to three bathrooms and a shared kitchen with appliances and of course a refrigerator. I, myself personally am at that golden time in my life when I can let my local family take up the slack while I follow my dreams. I'm home most of the year but I do have a sailboat that I use two or three times a year. The NeighborhoodNicaragua is the most beautiful country you can imagine. It's people are the real treasure. You will find my staff delightful and very willing to do what it takes to make your stay pleasant. We are often called the cleanest place anyone has visited in Nicaragua Getting AroundWelcome to Dale’s Cool Places, How to find it on your own: There is a Bus that leaves the Rivas Mercado at 1:30 PM and arrives in front of my places to stay at 3:30. Other Things to NoteStanding on the beach. looking at the ocean, if you turn right you will come to a small hill we call the LOMA. Getting AroundStanding on the beach. looking at the ocean, if you turn right you will come to a small hill we call the LOMA. Go all the way into town on the only road till you have to turn left. There he is. How to act: Remember this is a very small community and you are a part of it. Once your here everything is in walking distance. We do offer Suzuki AX 100's for rent. Other Things to NoteHow to find it on your own: There is a Bus that leaves the Rivas Mercado at 1:30 PM and arrives in front of my places to stay at 3:30. You can also catch a cab from Rivas for about 500 cordobas. Be sure to have your driver turn right on the only street in town. I am 300 meter down the road right on the beach behind green gates. Keep your eyes open for a sign because sometimes the gates are open .

House manager is available to assist you and can arrange optional services such as cooking, transportation, trips, cooking, grocery shopping, massages, etc. The NeighborhoodThis five bedroom beach house is located in a new, eco-friendly development on the west coast of Nicaragua in an area known as the 'Pacific Riviera' or the 'Emerald Coast'. Here, one can have it all: sea, sand, wildlife, and endless activities... all within a private and secure gated community. The community's private Playa Redonda is a white sand beach just down the hill from the house, with gentle waves that are fun for the whole family. Sometimes the outline of Costa Rica is visible across the water, and when the sun sets in the evening, the whole beach is illuminated by the changing colors and light. The next beach over can be reached by car or foot on the main road, or by taking a short walk on the path through the forest. Playa Gigante is home to a charming fishing village where time moves as slowly as the incoming tide. There are several restaurants around town, a tiny convenience store, a Spanish school, and some hostels where young travelers relax after long days of surfing or exploring. Tours and activities such as horseback riding, fishing trips, snorkeling, and day trips are available in town, and it is also a wonderful place to get to know the locals by joining a pickup soccer game or starting up a conversation over a beer! This place is paradise! Redonda Bay is an eco-friendly development that prioritizes the welfare of surrounding wildlife. Monkeys eat from the trees and flocks of pelicans fish in the ocean all day long. Sea turtles nest in the sand. Nicaragua boasts the lowest crime rate of any Central American country, and its beaches attract surfers from all over the world. It is a land of tremendous value, where food, activities, and transportation cost a fraction of what they would elsewhere. Spanish colonial towns, towering volcanoes, vibrant markets overflowing with ripe mangoes and delicious handmade tortillas, sweeping landscapes dotted with horses and cattle, and lush wildlife reserves are all within reach in this colorful, magical country. Getting AroundMost guests rent cars or hire transport for trips outside of the area. Public transportation is infrequent but available for more adventurous travelers. Hired boats are another option for day trips, fishing, and more. Other Things to NoteWake up to the sound of the ocean and enjoy a cup of coffee on the upper deck as monkeys sleep in the trees beside you. Go the the beach for an early swim and play in the waves for hours. Then, perhaps, head back to the house and take a nap in the shade beside the pool, or have some lunch at the restaurant down on the beach. Spend the afternoon reading on the beach or beside the pool, snacking on fresh fruit that you bought the day before and prepared in your own kitchen. When you are done, head through the forest into the town of Gigante to pick up some supplies, play with the local children, or have a meal or drink on the beach as the sun sets over the ocean. Walk back through the quiet forest (don't forget a flashlight!) and go for another dip in the pool or head straight to sleep, rejuvenating yourself for another day of fun and sun!

Villas A18 is located in the gated community of Hacienda Iguana on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. This condo is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit. It's a ground floor unit, so you are literally step out onto the beach. Seriously, the sand is less than 10 meters from the patio. It's also a corner unit facing away from everyone else, so you have the most privacy - you never would know you had neighbors if you didn't walk over to the pool. This private condo has fantastic veiws directly out to Panga Drops and Los Perros surf breaks. Colorados is a 10 minute walk down the wide, beautiful, white-sand beach. Whether you are a surfer or not these waves, the ocean and sunsets are wonderful views. This beach is also a turtle nesting ground, so mother turtles are often seen nesting and laying eggs, and occasionally you'll get to see the babies scrambling down to the beach. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the guest room has 2 twin beds and there is also a fold out sofa in the living room, making sleeping accomodations for up to 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a/c in all rooms, free wifi, satellite tv and a dvd player. Maid service is provided on the schedule you request. The pool and patio for the complex is also just steps away and right on the beach. Our on-site rental managers are there to make your vacation as smooth and memorable as possible. They can arrange many activities including: airport transportation, boat trips, surfing trips, fishing trips, horseback riding, kayaking, surf lessons, spanish lessons, massage, yoga and cultural, relaxation or exploratory day trips. Whatever you need they will make it happen. While this beach is world renowned for surfing we still have plenty to do for those that don't surf. There are many great hikes just out the door and we highly recommend taking the walk down to Gigante to get lunch at one of their many restaurants. By being guests in our condo you will also receive discounted rates for a round of golf at our 9 hole golf course located right in the community. There is also a beachfront, community pool and incredible restaurant at the south end of the beach, in front of Colorados surf break, that you are welcome to enjoy. There are 2 restaurants located in the community. Pill's, operated by an incredible chef from the Basque country, and Don Eloys, a restaurnant and bar that serves pizza, full meals and sandwiches. There's a surf shop, golf shop and a grocery store, so you never have to leave the development if you don't want. There are also a handful of other restaurants either a 45 minute hike or 20-30 minute drive away. If you don't want to go anywhere, we can also offer you an all inclusive meal package, with food, non alcoholic beverages and a chef to prepare, cook and clean for you.

The 3 bedroom house is in a tree shaded property within the gated community of Hacienda Iguana. The rear of the house has a full service BBQ and stone patio overlooking a private infinity edged pool and the Rio Dulce below that terminates at Colorado Beach and Club-house with full service restaurant, bar and pool.. The 2000 sq.ft. house has a fully equipped modern kitchen and A/C in all bedrooms. We also have a 300 sq.ft. Casita/studio apartment next door with a kitchen and A/C that can be rented separately or with the house so 9 people can comfortably stay on the property. A housekeeper comes with the rental and will also cook wonderful meals for an additional fee. The best part about our location is being able to enjoy the wildlife, which includes Howler monkeys, large Iguanas and sweet sounding birds that enjoy our beautiful river and majestic fruit bearing trees. We have a large flat screen TV, with Cable and Bluetooth compatible stereo so bring your smart phone or tablet and stream your music wirelessly. We recommend stopping in Rivas at Maxi Pali for all food shopping on way to Casa Rio. The house and studio/casita are located on a small river that defines one of the borders of Hacienda Iguana, a multi-recreational resort on the southern pacific coast of Nicaragua. Our river terminates 500 feet beyond Casa Rio at the Colorado Beach, where our Beach Club restaurant/bar and pool are also located. The community of Iguana has a challenging 9 hole golf course, several types of eateries and a 1.5 mile long private pristine beach with premier surfing...the ISA WORLD MASTERS SURFING CHAMPIONSHIP was held here in 2012. Our property manager also runs NSR, which offers surfing lessons, board rentals and charter services to and from the airport in Managua. The next village south of us called Playa Gigante is a small funky community with lots of great places to eat, drink and be merry. Peddle bikes and motorbikes can be rented at the resort as well.

This brand new beach house is located in a new eco-friendly development on the west coast of Nicaragua in an area known as the "Pacific Riviera" and is only 2 Hours from Managua International Airport! It has become a popular vacation destination as here you can have it all - surf, sand, ocean, private swimming pool, wildlife and endless activities - all within a private and secure gated community! Your rental house is large (over 3,000 square feet!) and you have your own private infinity pool that looks directly out over the grand, Pacific Ocean. You can even see the shining coastline of Costa Rica from nearly every room in the house! Best of all your private, gated community has its own secluded, white sand beach which is just a few steps away from your house (only a 30 second walk), with gentle waves that are fun yet safe for your whole family! One beach over (a short walk or drive) and you and your friends are in a quaint, charming fishing village called Gigante that has its own gorgeous white sand beach, and larger waves that are great for beginning surfers. Time in this village moves as slowly as the incoming tide. Take some time to search for shells, join a game of pickup soccer on the beach with the locals, or cool down with some body surfing in the ocean. The only big decisions you have to make here are which spectacular beach side restaurant you should choose to dine at as you watch the glowing sun set over the Pacific horizon, or whether to have fresh lobster, fish, or locally grown chicken or beef for dinner. Tomorrow you can go another beach over and surf the big waves with the experts (or watching them surf) - the Colorado Pipeline attracts surfers from all over the world who come to experience this long, rolling barrel wave! This place is paradise! There are endless local activities. Take your family or friends on a safe (yet thrilling) canopy tour and fly through the air while enjoying spectacular ocean views! Choose a magical horse ride on the beach! Go golfing or fishing! Set aside an afternoon to go snorkeling or even scuba diving. Take a day and go sailing down the coast. Visit nearby Spanish Colonial towns rich in culture and dine, shop, or sip a local fresh fruit juice and watch the clouds form on a distant volcano. This green, eco-friendly development has preserved the surrounding wildlife, making it a giant real-world terrarium for children and nature lovers alike! Watch friendly monkeys eat from the fruit trees next to the deck of your house! Watch flocks of pelicans fish the ocean right from your own private poolside! Watch a bright green parrot fly and perch next to you as you enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the veranda. Watch spectacular, breathtaking sunsets. Grab a flashlight and your camera and find sea turtles nesting right on your own private beach! If you do an intenet search for "safest country in Central America" you will soon learn that Nicaragua boasts the lowest crime rate of any Central American country! Plus, you will feel extra safe knowing your community is gated and guarded 24 hours per day.
