The SpaceWant to experience the life of a local whilst in Melbourne? This recently fully renovated light and bright apartment conveniently located in a quiet cul de sac in bustling Elsternwick has all the features you're looking for:
-5 mins walk to both tram and train which take you directly into Melbourne's city in just 20 minutes
-walk to the end of the street and you are spoilt for choice with amazing cafes, restaurants and eateries, from juice bars and vegetarian fair, to Sushi and Italian, Thai to Moroccan, Korean to Falafel, you will be sure to be able to find a taste that suits you
-walk across the road to the iconic Classic Cinema screening a large choice of Art House movies daily and indulge in some Polish fare and a vodka at the ever popular 'After the Tears' bar and restaurant next door
-10 minutes walk to tranquil Elwood canal and then another 10 mins walk through to Elwood beach!
-find some cool threads at one of the many boutiques along Glen Huntly Road, one of Melbourne's bustling strip shopping options
-if you are a health nut, at the end of the street on Glen Huntly Road you've got Green Remedy (think raw cold pressed juices and healthy organic salads to sumptuous smoothies and amazing açaí bowls) and Healthy Point serving delicious salads, soups, spuds, juices and smoothies (both within walking distance). Also close by in Staniland Grove is Cocomama's cold press juices and smoothies. You've also got one of the best yoga studios in Melbourne literally at your doorstep - the infamous Yoga Tree in Horne street.
-if coffee is your thing there are 5 great cafe's literally at the end of the street! Artful Dodger, Izzi Espresso Bar, Mother's Instinct, Goathouse and Milkys will ensure you get your daily fix! Further up Glen Huntly Road one of our personal favourites is Loco cafe, also with great coffees and tasty Israeli breakfasts.
-want bagels? one of the best bakeries in Melbourne (in my humble opinion!) is Aviv cakes and bagels further up Glen Huntly road. Bagelicious is another option just up the road from that.
-the nearest supermarket (Coles) is less than 15 mins walk or 2 tramstops away -alternatively, should you have a late night ice-cream craving you can visit the 7-11 on Glen Huntly Road near the end of our street
-Also close-by are cultural Carlisle Street, eclectic Glen Eira Road and sea-side Acland Street, all of which will see you being watered and fed with cool shops to keep you occupied along the way.

Interaction with GuestsEasily contactable to answer any questions. The NeighborhoodA recent ranking (in Nov 15) of all Melbourne’s suburbs across 16 key indicators saw Elsternwick come in at number 6!!!! Our apartment is perfectly situated at the intersection of 3 uber cool inner Melbourne suburbs (Elwood, Ripponlea & St Kilda East) where you will be absolutely spoilt for choice with a plethora of cafes, eateries, bars, bakeries, boutique shopping, health food stores and gym and yoga studios, not to mention the basics like banks, chemists, 7 / 11 convenience store and supermarket. If that weren't enough, you have easy access to public transport and even a cinema across the road should you spontaneously decide you want to see a flick at the iconic Classic Cinema (if you do make sure to go to After the tears for a vodka and some good Polish fare afterwards). Our apartment is smack bang in the middle of all that these cool suburbs have to offer!
(URL HIDDEN) Getting AroundDon't have a car? No problems! Just a 5 min walk to the end of the street will see you at Elsternwick train station where you can catch a train direct to the city in under 15 minutes. Want to head to St Kilda beach? No dramas...jump on a tram (outside the train station) and you'll also be there in no time (or walk to Elwood beach which is around 15 - 20 mins). Other Things to NoteGuests should be aware that we live on a train line (convenient when it only takes 13 minutes to get into the bcd!). Trains are more frequent around peak times and then infrequently at off peak times. They run every hour over the weekend. Most guests get used to the trains within a couple of days but if you are a very light sleeper you might want to consider another option or bring your earplugs just in case.
