The SpaceThis cozy Colonial style home built in 1909 is a comfortable, convenient and affordable way to enjoy your visit to New York City. There are 3 bedrooms that sleep 6 and a roll out single that sleeps 1. The Master bedroom features a King size bed and writing desk; the second bedroom has a Queen size bed and writing desk; the third features a Queen size futon. All rooms have double exposures, which results beautiful sunlight streaming in when blinds or curtains are open.
The kitchen includes dishwasher, toaster oven, French press and hot water kettle. There is a separate dining room, living room, and there is a washer and dryer in the basement. Our home is minimally decorated with comfortable modern furnishings including a piano, wide-screen TV, stereo, wi-fi, and Roku (with access to Amazon Prime movies, Netflix, and Hulu).
The house is set back from the street and located the middle of a very quiet neighborhood. The front porch looks out onto an expansive lawn with shade trees. It is the perfect location to sit with friends and enjoy the setting sun!
The back deck is outfitted with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. The expansive backyard is outfitted with Adirondack lawn chairs, a chiminea with ample logs perfect for roasting marshmallows, and a hammock for peaceful relaxation.
The expansive English-styled back garden has lush flowers and trees that are visited by seasonal birds and butterflies of all kinds: blue jays, cardinals, finches, humming birds, monarch butterflies and our famous Wild Parrots of Edgewater! Guest AccessYou are free to use the basement, the first level and second level of the home, the back yard and front porch. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. Access to the attic is not permitted. Interaction with GuestsI am always available to answer any questions you might have during your stay and will be reachable by phone 24/7. You also have access to a property manager who will be available to deal with all questions or concerns. The NeighborhoodEnglewood has a vibrant downtown that is walking distance from a tasty variety of restaurants: Columbian, Japanese sushi, Spanish tapas, Mediterranean, Italian, Lebanese, and American. There is also a selection of fast food eateries, ice cream shops bakeries and coffee shops.
Grocery stores, pet stores, banks, gas stations and a variety of hardware and home goods stores are also walking distance from home.
