The SpaceWe have a private first floor bedroom, private bath with cleaning supplies for the bathroom as well as necessities. Kitchen facilities for your use, please clean up after yourself. You may also store any food you wish to cook in our fridge. You may sit at the counter or the dining table. Four day stay minimum , we usually have clergy or traveling nurses that stay for months, this has worked well. Guest AccessFull access to the main floor of the house, including a covered front porch as well as a full deck on the back and a fire pit. There is also a pool table, swimming pool, with large yard, horseshoes and corn hole games. Interaction with GuestsThis is our home, you will be our guests. You may retreat to your room or join us for convo! :-)
This is our home, we expect our guests to be polite and no wet towels on furniture! :-)
Quiet time starts at 9:30PM, if you have phone calls to make please do them quietly from your room or sit on the patio. This does not mean you must return to the home by that time. You may come and go as you please and we will give you a password for the lock on the house. Lights will be left on outside when it is dark for your safe return.
If you should arrive home late that is fine, just be respectful of the quiet time.
Drinking is permitted as long as it is not to excess. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is a cul de sac and we have a neighborhood watch program here. As neighbors we are all very friendly with each other, we take caution to drive slowly in and out as there maybe small grandchildren visiting. We do make note of every car entering and exiting our neighborhood and if you are a long stay guest, we will introduce you to our neighbors. Getting AroundA car is required for a stay here. If you fly in one can be rented at the airport. We are only about 15-20 minutes to the Dayton International Airport. The Dayton Metro Parks does have a bike trail that is less than 1/2 mile from our home. Downtown Dayton now has a bike system, you can rent bikes and use them for the day!
