The NeighborhoodI love the fact that the house is tucked away from the main road in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. The wood is just outside the doorstep which makes it a lovely place to walk any time of the year. The supermarket ASDA is only 4 minutes walk where there is a cafe with free Wi-Fi. There is also a DIY store called B&Q next to it. Getting AroundBelvdere Station is only 10 minutes or less walk from the house. There are regular trains to and from Central London, with a 30 minutes journey time to London Bridge. The Olympic park and the Westfield Mall are also easily accessible by DLR train from Woolwich Arsenal. Other Things to NoteBelvedere is a town in the London Borough or Bexley

Kaitayoon and Joe live in this spacious townhouse with their two lovely daughters who are 4 years and 3 months old. The house is modern and comfortable with a pretty garden. The train station is a 5 minute walk which takes you into London within 35 minutes. The area is very close to a town centre and leisure centre. Kaitayoon is currently on maternity leave and works as a guest service manager for a hotel in London. Joe works with a bank in London. We love spending time together and enjoy cooking and sampling various cuisines from around the world.

    We live on the outskirts of London. Our house looks very ordinary from the outside but inside you will find plenty of space and a warm welcome. We have a small garden. We like our guests to feel part of the family, but there is no pressure to do this if you want to keep to yourself. There are five of us: my husband and I and three grown up son and daughters, who are all in further or higher education. We have been hosting for six years and we really enjoy getting to know people from all over the world.

    The SpaceOne word. this place is just. Awesome. ---Looking for a place to stay in London? Look no further! Stop wasting time. This place has everything you need. Seriously. This isn't just any ordinary apartment, since it's birth, it is known as the ‘Sanctuary'. ---So what's in it for you? You will have your own comfy personal double bedroom. -THE BED (also known as Cloud9)(URL HIDDEN)Just close your eyes and imagine, a bright warm blue sky and your a feather, slowly wavering gently down onto a blissful of comfy clouds. (I'm telling you, Cloud9 will melt you). Cloud9 is also a double spacious storage bed so you can store things inside it, as well as your own 2.3meter tall wardrobe,1.5 meters wide. Compact but big. (So don't worry about bringing your whole wardrobe, if you plan to stay long). The room space is a work in progress but no less than a warm comfy place for you to rest your head at night (what more do you need than a bed that will take you to heaven and back again. -THE BATHROOM (nicknamed Angel Falls – short name: Angel) Angel was named after one of the top 10 most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Angel is your own personal bathroom. You have a choice of having a bubbly bath or a loving shower. Angel's shower powers. Is indescribable. Imagine being in the tropic islands, just standing under a waterfall, you can feel the water gently gushing down on your face and sensually trickling all over you. ( I would stay in that shower all day if I could). --THE LIVING ROOM This no ordinary living room, it is filled with character and has a strong sense of vintage, rustic industrial style, but is a very chilling ambient relaxing space. My favourite piece is the old piano, I call her Melody. Melody was an abandon prop I saved from a theatre. I do play her now and again but mainly on weekends, so do not worry, I will not keep you up at night. The living space is very spacious with another room to do three roly polys and access to a nice balcony, if your ever feel like embracing the outside air, with a lovely view of the suburban tree land area of south east London. (looks great on a sunny day). Did I forget to mention my chalkboard wall? Very handy if you forget to do things as well as a place to do some fun doodles. --KITCHEN It is a open plan, so the kitchen is part of the living room. I will have all the necessities you need. You name it. I have it. What more else can I say? --Is there a train station near by? Yes. The nearest Station is Belvedere Station (Zone 5), about 8mins walk away! Unless your fast like Usain Bolt at running , you can probably get there under 4mins. It takes about 40mins to get into Central London. You can take one straight train into the exciting city. Where you will see all the main attractions, such as Big Ben, London Eye, The Thames River etc. ( Those are all boring, I can tell you the very cool places if your interested?). --How do I get to the apartment? If your coming from the airport you can take a cab. Not too sure how much but not cheap but quicker. A Cheaper option would be to take a coach from the airport into London and then a train. The room has a brand new double bed and a put up single bed. My bathroom has a separate bath and shower. Please bring your own towel but I can provide a clean towel if requested. Trains go to straight to London Bridge and Cannon Street so please check www.transportforlondon to plan your journey around London. Please note that I work Monday to Friday so please let me know your arrival time so I can make arrangements to greet you. I have high speed fibre optic Wifi Guest AccessI will provide you with a key so you can come and go as you please. The garden will not be available to smoke in if I am not at home or sleeping as previous guests have left the door unlocked all night. Please contact me to discuss your arrival time as I work. I live next to Franks Park and there is a big Asda supermarket near me about 7 minutes walk. There is a KFC, Chinese and McDonalds near by. I can advise on night buses if you want to go to clubs and recommend local taxis. Please note that once trains stop running it is not easy to get home by bus so you will need a taxi. Also there may be some repair work done at weekends to train lines across London so you may experience travel delay or your journey may take longer at weekends. Getting Around10 minutes walk to Belvedere train station with trains to London Bridge. The train goes to Woolwich with connections to Docklands Light Railway and the Ferry and boats to central London. If you are travelling from Stansted airport then get coach or train to Stratford then the DLR to Woolwich. If I can I will pick you up from Woolwich train station free. If not you can get train from Woolwich to Belvedere. From Gatwick get a train to New Cross Gate and then train to Belvedere from there. If you get coach to Victoria just travel on the underground to London Bridge where you can get a train straight to Belvedere. It takes around 30 minutes from Belvedere to London Bridge so not suitable if you are looking for a central Place to stay. Other Things to NoteI have to get my kids ready for school Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 8am so there will be a little noise and the bathroom will be in use. Travel on trains are cheaper after 9:30am. Breakfast is self service with an option of making yourself cereal, tea and coffee. There is a nice cafe in the nearby supermarket Asda's that do nice breakfast and meals.

I live alone in another bedroom, and you will be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with me. The bathroom has a shower and soap and shampoo are provided. The kitchen is well equipped for your use, there is an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and space in the fridge and freezer. Tea and coffee are provided and there is bread and jam to make toast for breakfast. You are welcome to use the washer and dryer, and there is a drying rack. Guest AccessThere is 24 hour access with your keys to the building and the apartment. The room itself cannot be locked from the outside, but there is a privacy lock on the inside. There is parking off the street around the corner from the building. The last trains are not long after midnight, after which there is a night bus. Use the TFL website to get travel information. There are also bus services to the station within 1 minutes walk. The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet and safe, and the local attraction of Lesnes Abbey Woods and its ruined abbey are 10 minutes walk away. There is a large Sainsbury’s supermarket at Abbey Wood Station along with a few smaller shops and takeaways (a larger range of shops can be found in nearby Woolwich). There is a small convenience store, café and post office 2 minutes walk away. Other Things to NoteYour Windows 7 computer in the room has high speed internet access and a headset and webcam for making online calls. Getting AroundFrom London City Airport, you can get the DLR to Woolwich (13 minutes) and hop on the train to Erith (10 minutes) in a short journey. You can also get a direct train to London Bridge and Cannon Street from Erith station, which is only a 2 minute walk from the flat.                 Using any of the major motorway networks leading to London A1M, M1, M11, M40, merge onto the M25 London Orbital. The M25 will merge with the A282 at Thurrock. Continue using the QEII bridge if crossing the river from the north and then take the exit onto A206. Continue following signs for A206 for approximately 8 miles as it turns into A2016. Go straight across roundabout with horse sculpture and at the next roundabout take the first exit onto Clydesdale Way. The Hotel is then visible on the left, opposite The Morgan carvery/public house.
