My husband buys green coffee beans from Costa Rica and custom roasts it on site. I offer juice, tea, milk, almond or coconut milk, Utah's Aspen Mills bread for toast, (gluten free bread with advance notice) and organic eggs that are from our vegetarian fed, cage free chickens!
Enjoy the beauty of the hills, as a scenic overlook is just a block away. There are many mini-farmettes in Henrieville. You can expect to hear country sounds of horses, sheep, a rooster or two, chickens, magpies, white-winged doves and the occasional dog bark.
Hoodoos Hideaway is below a major flight path for high altitude airliners, so if you download the PlaneFinder HD app, you can discover who is up there. There are also great astronomy apps that will enhance your night sky viewing. I hope that you will enjoy the beauty of the property and the area as much as I do! Guest AccessGuests have access to the living room, as well as the kitchen to prepare meals and the dining area. Outside, the courtyard seating area, as well as use of the courtyard grill. There is a backyard bench for stargazing. Interaction with GuestsThis is an owner-occupied home. My husband and I will respect your privacy, although we are available to answer questions And we love to chat! Feel free to use the common living & kitchen areas between the hours of 6:00 am and 10:00pm.
The guest room is private. Our bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the guest room, in a wing separated by a long hallway and a divider door.
We have one friendly, elderly dog, (a border collie/blue heeler mix) and 3 young, indoor cats. There are also some semi-feral neighborhood cats that visit the property.
If you have allergies to animals, you might want to consider staying elsewhere. I do my best to keep the house clean; daily vacuuming area rugs, sweeping wood floors and opening windows for fresh air.
