From this updated Antique home it's a 3 minute walk to Essex Village for an early morning coffee or a late night glass of wine. Once you get here and park no need to see your car again until it's time to leave. Getting AroundGetting around is easy whether you walk or bike, Ct River and the town of Essex is just minutes away. Other Things to NoteEssex Steam Train is a fun adventure along the riverside and then transfer to the steam boat for a ride on the river (seasonal). Thomas the Train, evening diner cart are just a few attractions the Steam Train offers.

The SpaceWhen you arrive at our house there is plenty of parking in the driveway. Guest AccessGuests have access to the bright kitchen which has a sitting area and a dining table. There is a relaxing patio off the kitchen for reading and listening to two fountains! Interaction with GuestsI will greet my guests upon arrival and get them settled in the comfortable guest room. I will provide a continental breakfast with fresh brewed coffee. The NeighborhoodThe village of Ivoryton is within walking distance. There are several restaurants and the historic Ivoryton Playhouse is wonderful. Just down the street is the lovely Copper Beech Inn with gourmet dining. The Essex Steam Train has daily excursions along the CT River. Downtown Essex has many shops and the famous Griswold Inn just up from the harbor. Getting AroundGuests will have to drive their own car. Other Things to NoteStroll through the gardens and take a walk down by the river which is our back border.

The MALON BRANDO SUITE is named after the famous actor, who lived on many occasions in the IVOYRTON INN, while performing at the near- by IVORYTON PLAYHOUSE.     Coveland is an 1810 eyebrow cape on Falls River Cove which feeds into the Connecticut River. There are extensive water views, 2 docks and quiet waters to boat or kayak on. Our home is furnished in comfortable style with down sofas with marine art. There is a small well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and a lovely new stone terrace to enjoy the morning paper or a sunset dinner. The house sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and has a leather sleeper sofa in the study.
