The SpaceIt is the most peaceful and relaxing place I've ever lived, the seclusion adds to the tranquility. There is a 360° view of the horizon where wildlife abound. You can see nine summits in Glacier National Park just looking out the windows. I provide binoculars, typographical map, bear spray and fishing gear upon request. The NeighborhoodThere are only about a dozen neighbors within one square mile and we all know each other and enjoy barbecuing together and helping one another.     The two or three bedroom cabin is your home away from home. It is centrally located on HWY 2 between both sides of Glacier National Park. We are 20 miles from West Glacier and 35 miles for East Glacier. The cabin is on the property of Glacier Haven Inn, Healthy Haven Cafe', and Glacier Haven RV and Campground, offering many services for your stay. Within 10 miles of our home, there is hiking and fishing to mountain lakes; rafting and fishing in the Middle Fork River; viewing Grant Glacier to the south of us; and seeing the mountain goats at the Goat Lick. Depending on the size of your party, you can book the cabin as a 2 bedroom or as a 3 bedroom. This cabin has just recently been completely remodeled. As a two bedroom cabin, you will have one bedroom with a queen bed, and the second bedroom with two full size beds. As a third bedroom, there is a queen bed. There is a full kitchen, having anything you need if you want to fix meals to eat "at home". There is even a grill on the covered porch. There is a large living room for everyone to hang out and watch satellite TV with HBO. There is a DVD/VCR and movies to enjoy. In the full bathroom is a washer and dryer to use. At the Inn we have rooms available if your party needs additional space. On site we have a cafe that serves a fresh breakfast buffet, sack lunches, and home cooked dinners. At our RV park, you can have a campfire and even play a game of volleyball or badminton. As a service to our guests, we can help with arranging some of the activities in and around Glacier National Park. We can book boat rides on one of the lakes in the Park, or raft trips on the Middle Fork River around the park. We can get you in touch with those who provide horseback riding or helicopter rides, both in the Park. In addition to all the things to see and do in Glacier National Park, there is the Hungry Horse Dam and Lake 30 miles from us. We are 50 miles from Kalispell and Whitefish for shopping and other activities. South of Kalispell is Flathead Lake. To the north, many of our guests spend the day in Waterton, Canada to visit the northern portion of Glacier National Park. You can book this cabin as a 2 bedroom or as a 3 bedroom cabin. As a 2 bedroom cabin, the rate is $299.00 a night plus the 7% tax for up to 4 people. There is a $15.00 plus the 7% tax for each additional person up to 6 people. As a 3 bedroom cabin, the rate is $349.00 a night plus the 7% tax for up to 6 people. There is a $15.00 plus the 7% tax for each additional person up to 8 people. Additional fees may apply: - 3 bedroom rate | 349 USD per day We are centrally located between East and West Glacier on HWY 2, which borders the southern portion of Glacier National Park. We are 35 miles from East Glacier and 20 miles from West Glacier. We are 50 miles from Kalispell, MT. We are in the mountains, surrounded by God's handiwork. North of our property is the Middle Fork River and Glacier National Park. South of our property is Flathead National Forest and Grant Glacier. You will want to spend time on both sides of Glacier National Park, which is split by the Continental Divide. Our guests can easily do that without relocating.

My Glacier House is perfect for families to truly discover the outdoors. In small mountain area called Pinnacle. Dirt roads thru forest, with privacy and there are summer vacation cabins about. Between East Glacier and West Glacier on highway2, to the east Glacier National Park and to the west Great Bear Wilderness. Izaak Walton Inn 6 miles for dining and Amtrak access. Middle Fork Flathead River fishing 100 yards thru the forest, Paola boat landing 1/2 mile. Golfing in West Glacier, 20 miles. Goat lick to view mountain goats 10 miles. Wildlife visit property, no guarantees. (Moose, mountain lions, deer, black bear and grizzlies, humming birds and lots of birds, wolf, coyotes, rabbits, weasel. The large french doors open out on to a deck facing the breathtaking views of Glacier Park peaks. When you're ready for bed, relax in the comfy queen bed with a lovely view of the gardens and mountains. We are located three miles west of the village of East Glacier Park - an easy drive to any part of the park. Your hosts, Leslie and Carl Haggar, live on property and are happy to help with vacation planning. Subject to 7% State Tax $20 for additional guests, four maximum. The Lone Elk Lodge is located three miles west of East Glacier Park, on the south east corner of Glacier Park. We are in a rural setting, with trails that take you to active beaver ponds, and meadows that invite deer, moose, and an occasional bear- but conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and activities. There is fishing in the stream right across the road, hiking and skiing right out the door, and a large lawn for relaxing when you don't feel like going on an adventure. The Two Medicine park entrance is 12 miles away, and both the west and east entrances to the Sun Highway are 40- 45 miles from our property. A convenient location for your Glacier Park vacation.

            Built new in 2000 on nearly 3 acres of land, and situated half way between East Glacier and Essex, the cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a full kitchen, dining area and living room. There is a deck off the back of the cabin with a BBQ which is available for the guests to use, as well as outdoor furniture to enjoy eating or just relaxing in the beautiful outdoors. There is a jacuzzi in the master bedroom, laundry facilities on the main level, and a family room in the basement level. The cabin can accommodate 10 (six privately) and has all the comforts of home, including telephone, television, and WIFI. Close by (approximately 1 mile away) is the restaurant - The Snow Slip Inn - great food, great ale and a great atmosphere! Golfing, shopping, and the Glacier Park Entrance are only 15 minutes away at East Glacier. Approximately 10 miles West is the historic Izaak Walton Inn, Only mile away is a Licensed Wilderness Guide who offers hunting , fishing, riding and pack trips. Many walking / hiking trails surround the cabin as do trails for your quad in the summer, or snowmobile in the winter. And best of all is the amazing view.

The best way to see the park and surrounding areas by vehicle is to make a circle tour in which you basically drive by the cabin. The actual entrance to the park is 20 - 30 minutes to the west, or 20 to 30 minutes to the east Getting AroundBuilt new in 2000 on nearly 3 acres of land, and situated half way between East Glacier and Essex, the cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a full kitchen, dining area and living room. There is a deck off the back of the cabin with a BBQ which is available for the guests to use, as well as outdoor furniture to enjoy eating or just relaxing in the beautiful outdoors. There is a jacuzzi in the master bedroom, laundry facilities on the main level, and a family room in the basement level. The cabin can accommodate 10 (six privately) and has all the comforts of home, including telephone, television, and WIFI. Close by (approximately 1 mile away) is the restaurant - The Snow Slip Inn - great food, great ale and a great atmosphere! Golfing, shopping, and the Glacier Park Entrance are only 15 minutes away at East Glacier. Approximately 10 miles West is the historic Izaak Walton Inn, Only mile away is a Licensed Wilderness Guide who offers hunting , fishing, riding and pack trips. Many walking / hiking trails surround the cabin as do trails for your quad in the summer, or snowmobile in the winter.
