The Space

All the comforts of home while surrounded by nature. Tucked in the back of our almost acre gardens, sits the Airstream in her shining beauty! We can accommodate two people who enjoy a sweet and compact space. Our goal was to create an enjoyable environment using green (safe) materials as much as possible and to stock it with beautiful dishes and stainless steel cookware. You will sleep in a ‘Natura’ latex, queen bed with luxury linens.
There is a small bathroom with a toilet and sink inside the Airstream. And while that is admittedly a tight space, you will love the spacious bathhouse located adjacent to the Airstream. (You do have to go out and around to access it.) There you can relax in an antique claw foot tub while looking up at the stars through the glass roof. A shower is available as well.
We hope you will enjoy your time with us!

You have full access to the Airstream, the bathhouse and the main gardens. There is a deck adjacent to the Airstream with a table and chairs for enjoying the garden. Sometimes we may even have an abundance of food from our veggie garden Tower Garden. If so, we will make it available to you.
At this point, we do not have Wifi in the Airstream but you are welcome to come on down to our solarium (adjacent to our home) to get online. Most cell phones work fine in or near the Airstream (the aluminum can be a barrier).

We respect your privacy and enjoy ours too. That said, we love meeting new people and sharing a nice cup of something yummy.
If there is something you need, please ask and we will do our best to provide it within reason.

Best kept secret. This is a small community with houses spread some distance apart. We are a quiet bunch tho friendly. You will most likely see wildlife like deer cruising around as you enjoy a peaceful county lane walk.

We are located just five miles from Hwy 101. It is a 10 minute drive to our home, tho it might seem like more as you slow down to enjoy the drive through pastures and over one of the few remaining 100+ year old covered bridges left standing. You will need a car unless you enjoy an uphill bike ride. Not far from us you can walk through Faulk, an abandoned logging town and then continue on through the Redwoods and along the stream. We are about a 15-20 minute drive to Old Town Eureka where much fun awaits you. There is easy parking just outside the Guest gate.

Humboldt County is rich with culture, history and natural beauty. We have ocean beaches for long walks, majestic Redwood forests, lagoons, fishing, hiking, swimming and dining! If you love seafood, you are in luck!!
We are home to Humboldt State Univ. as well as College of the Redwoods (just over the hill from us).

Place's rules

We ask that you treat our Airstream with the resect that she so well deserves. Sorry, but we cannot accept small children as there is a small pond that is not gated and could be a danger. Please no animals (we have two friendly cats that we are happy to share). And, no smoking anywhere in nor on our property. We simply ask that you wash the dishes before you leave. Thank you for respecting our rules. We look forward to sharing our beautiful home with you!

Millions of people are using Airbnb to sleep in strangers' homes, beds, and even couches. They have an amazing selection and you can't find their stuff anywhere else. There is a catch: you often need to contact several hosts to actually get a place to stay, so make sure you give yourself some lead time.
