This harbor is the biggest income producing fishing harbor in all of America. we have nearly 500 working fishing boats here. So, great seafood. Fairhaven has a pretty, mile-long sandy beach as well. This newly built beach style home is a great spot for a fabulous get-away. It offers a spacious place with superb amenities. As well as just a walk from the beach. This home has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and is equipped with a private balcony. The guest room is suited with a full sized bed. In addition there is a futon room incorporating 4 full futons. There are 2 full bathrooms, including a jetted tub in the master bath. A spacious kitchen/dining area where you can sit at the dining room table seated for 6 or sit at the exquisite granite island which is also seated for 6. It is fully loaded with stainless steel appliances, including a large fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and toaster. The living area has a comfy large sectional and a rocking chair with a flat screen TV. Hard wood floors throughout the second level. Step outside the second level onto the deck which offers an outdoor whicker dining table and chairs overlooking a beautiful foliage view with peep views of the ocean. In addition there is a “breezeway” garage that opens in the front and the back. This home can also be used for business purposes as well. If you are looking for the home away from home feeling instead of staying at a hotel this is just the place. It is not just your typical vacation home. If you are in the area and need a place to stay before your next stop this home is the place to be.

The SpaceWe're a house dating from the early 1800s on the historic Acushnet River. The bedroom fits two, and is newly renovated, the bed has a memory foam topper. We also offer a modern private bathroom for our guests. Patrons can enjoy the views of the beautiful New Bedford harbor from our home, or take a long walk along the historical streets of Fairhaven. The Delano Homestead Bed and Breakfast, built in 1832 by one of New England's most prominent families, is a stunning example of transitional/ late Federal / Greek Revival architecture. Located in historic Fairhaven, Massachusetts, the Bed and Breakfast is situated on a quiet, residential street in the heart of the village center, close to the town hall, library, beach, parks, bicycle path, museums, maritime academy, shops, restaurants, fishing piers and working waterfront. Relax in the afternoon sunlight on a spacious deck with views of the the Bay and the Elizabeth Islands. A large grassy front lawn is the perfect location for outdoor games. Build sand castles, kayake, windsurf or snorkle on one of the few private and sandy beaches on the island. The cottage features 2 bedrooms and an open concept kitchen, dining area and large family room. The family room has two daybeds with a trundle which converts to three twin beds in the evening for additional sleeping accommodations. The spacious kitchen is fully furnished with all appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils. There is parking for 3 cars in the driveway as well as additional on-street parking. Stop in at Earl’s Marina and Hoppy’s Landing, right down the street on Causeway Road for some casual night time entertainment. Make a trip to nearby New Bedford which offers historical museums, sea side shopping and restaurants boasting ethnic foods or off the boat sea food.         Very small oceanfront cottage just feet from the water....literally. Full views of Buzzards Bay from nearly every window. Enjoy sunrise and sunsets. Access to upstairs sleeping area requires climbing steep and narrow stairs. Please keep this in mind if you have mobility, balance or stair climbing issues or concerns. First floor living room does contain a sleeper-sofa. This little cottage is directly on the shore....and enjoys full exposure to whatever the season brings. Enjoy views from a full 360 degree wrap-around deck. Your only distraction will be the sound of the sea. Located next to New Bedford with it's National Park and famous Whaling Museum. Heading East about 30 min is the Cape Cod Canal and travel West about 45 min to Newport RI. Locally ride the ferrys to Cuttyhunk or Martha's Vineyard. and Nantucket Island. Travel to Boston is about 60 miles and we're about 10 min from highway I-195. Plenty of good shopping and restaurants nearby specializing in Italian, Portuguese and especially fresh New England seafood.

Fort Phoenix Beach is less than a 5 minute drive from the house with picnicking areas, tennis courts and lovely beach with free parking.           This is the second summer we are offering our vacation home for rent. It was booked solid the first summer with satisfied renters. You can set your own pace and relax here!!! This residential island is located in Buzzard's Bay, north of the Elizabeth Islands and Martha's Vineyard. Approximately half the island is a state conservation with nature trails and wild life viewing that eventually brings you out to the ocean. There is a town beach, with lifeguards, on the south side of the island. Also, on the protected side of the island, is a beach perfect for children, and within walking distance of this cottage. Or go across the street and enjoy the ocean side with sandbars to explore during low tide. It will take you 3 - 5 minutes, to these two beaches. The town beach is about a mile away. If you have a boat, you can launch your boat at Hoppy's Landing within 1/2 mile. The island is connected by a causeway and has town water and sewer. A supermarket, pharmacy, and restaurants are located within four miles. The cottage is quite charming. The kitchen, with hardwood floors, has been renovated with new counters, backsplash, stove, microwave, refrigerator and ceiling fan. Every item needed for cooking, baking, and planning your meals are provided. Also, dishes, glasses, wine glasses, etc. provided. Linens and towels are provided. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed/TV, one with double bed/TV, and a third with a twin bed. There is ample space for your clothing. The living room is open spaced with the dining area. There are two areas for eating. The room also has a gas stove for those chilly nights, which are far and few during the summer. The bathroom has a full size tub with shower. A washer/dryer is available in the premise to use. A gas grill and firepit is available. Also, 2 beach chairs are provided to bring to the beach. The best for last. This cottage is special because it has an 8 x 12 foot screened in porch. It has a table with three chairs, two other chairs, a chaise, and a wooden swing. Great for the times you want to be outside yet not in the sun, or covered from the rain. Also, no worry of insects at night. The house is also equipped with a front porch with two adirondack chairs.

Also, restaurant, shopping, etc. is within 4 miles. Other Things to NoteJune has a 3 night minimum stay July has a 7 night minimum stay with change over day on Saturday.
