Your Host - Jeanne The NeighborhoodMy neighborhood is PEACEFUL and SAFE. I have NO FEAR leaving my doors unlocked and living alone.
I have observed owls, hawks, bats, vultures, turkeys, herons, turtles, fox, groundhogs, skunks, raccoons, armadillos, coyotes, deers, snakes, otters along with neighboring cows, heifers, steers, bulls and horses. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation. Other Things to NoteTravel trailers have MUCH SMALLER hot water heaters than homes so showers will be shorter.
Wait 15-20 minutes between showers so water tank can refill with HOT WATER.
Should you visit during FREEZING TEMPERATURES, you may need to have the water SLOWLY drip from the bathroom AND kitchen sinks to keep the water lines from icing up.
As spring and summer sun warms the lake and pond, evaporation takes place LOWERING their levels.
The less rain we receive results in unfortunate lowering of the lake and pond levels.
Every summer is different.
