The SpaceTOT Registered: #CO00022 Please check out the photos on my other listing of the same house (in my profile called "heaven on earth"). The pictures on this room need updating, as we have done some work on the house and yard to make it a bit more spectacular! If you are looking for a beautiful setting, peace, redwoods, and relaxation, you've found it! Top reasons people stay here (and come back): 1.) Best view of Santa Cruz Mountains ever. With two decks that are bigger then most apartments, you can choose to sit on our front deck and float high above the valley with views downtown Felton. OR you can chill on the back beck with a fire-pit table and the most stunning outline of distant mountain ranges, as hundred foot trees dance as the breeze blows. 2.) My obsession with birds has lead to many feeders, and lots of finches, turkeys, hummingbirds, and even a hawks nest. 3.) My hot tub is so relaxing. Best place in the WORLD to float among the tree limbs (like a bird). Sunrise central. 4.) Santa Cruz hotels are incredibly run down, expensive, laden with unending traffic, and in poor areas of town. My house is private, light and airy. It will make you feel relaxed. 5.) We just installed a huge bocce court in the back yard, we have a nice pool table, and on not windy days summer days, we have a ping pong table out. Cool to relax at home. 6.) There is a million things to do within a few miles. Beaches, zip lines in the redwoods at Mount Hermon, many parks with hiking, restaurants, Loch Lomond, wine tasting, horseback riding, and much more. Born and raised here, I can give you guidance of cool stuff to see and do- Santa Cruz is so much more then a Boardwalk! 7.) There is about 10 places to sit and read a book or magazines, undisturbed to the sound of the forrest. We are so fortunate to enjoy the solitude on the hill. The rooms we host in are the ones with the pinball machine, and the one with the pots on a shelf on the wall. Area: 15 minutes from UCSC. 20 minutes from Beach. 10 minutes from Henry Coewell State Park. Feel like your a thousand miles from anyone. This house is situated high on a hill, no neighbors to see. Yet just 5 minutes off highway 9. Outside of the Santa Cruz "fog belt," sunny most months of the year. Join us for Open Studios in October! House: Panoramic views of mountains, Scotts Valley, and Felton. 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 2600 sf. 20+ acres. Gated driveway, house has state-of-the-art alarm, for further ease of mind. Two huge decks for sunning, both with jaw dropping views of the mountains. Features full kitchen with nice appliances, two outdoor eating areas, two indoor dining areas, pool table with plasma tv, TV with satellite in room, wireless internet. Sprawling lawns, various roses, heirloom tomatoes, even fresh organic eggs from my chickens. Parking is off street, and gated. Yoga room. Laundry. Pick up some take-out, and sit outside on the decks and enjoy the the outdoor speakers on both decks and all living areas. Seasonally decorated (love goofy holiday decor!). Huge and awesome Cal-King bed. Beautiful views. Private and clean. Next to large and clean red bathroom. Dresser to place your things. 50" LED TV with Dish Hopper service, view of woods, overlaying mountain ranges, birds, bocce, and veggie garden. Normally I only have one extra room rented, meaning you would have exclusive use of the bath. However, I sometimes have friends or an addtional airbnb guest, and in those times the bathroom would be shared. We do have video surveillance all over the property- of course it is not in your room or bathroom. Guest AccessPlease don't go in our bedroom, office or garage. We keep our clutter there! Also, be kind and respect our neighbors if you walk around the property. Interaction with GuestsUp to our guests. We can kind of sense when people want to be left alone. Mostly I work, so I won't bug you. The NeighborhoodThis is a wonderful neighborhood, filled with nice families who mostly commute to SF or SJ. Crazy, but living here is worth it! Regarding services restaurants, stores and businesses have one of everything you need, and each is excellent. Getting AroundYou need a car.

The SpaceTOT Registered: #CO00022 Top reasons people stay here (and come back): 1.) Best view of Santa Cruz Mountains ever, all around, everywhere you look. 2.) Have you ever wanted to know what its like to be a bird and float high on the tree limbs? Get up at sunrise and take a dip in the hot-tub that sits near the cliff. As you float in the water and gaze straight ahead, you are eye level with limbs on 300 year old pine trees filled with acorn woodpeckers, allen hummingbirds, and robins, all fluttering 100 feet off the ground. 2.) My obsession with birds has lead to many feeders, and lots of finches, turkeys, hummingbirds, and even a hawks nest. You cannot sit outside and not see a bird at any given time. Fights among the territorial hummingbirds, frisky finches flapping about and hundreds of beautiful bird calls will be constant entertainment. (Nobody, I mean nobody, has ever chosen to watch tv when the birds are out). 3.) 90% of Santa Cruz hotels are pretty aged and expensive and in undesirable areas of town. My house is private and has a great vibe about it. 4.) There is a huge bocce court in the back yard, we have a nice pool table, and sometimes we have a ping pong table out. This bocce court is lit at night and an exciting way to enjoy a starry night. There is plenty to be entertained. 5.) There is a million things to do within a few miles. You will be close to beaches! We can point out some beaches that are much more quiet and scenic if the Boardwalk Beach is not your thing. Zip lines in the redwoods at Mount Hermon, many parks with hiking, restaurants, Loch Lomond, wine tasting, horseback riding, restaurants, antique train rides through the mountains, the world's most adorable garden store, a museum focusing on local history, a museum focusing on Bigfoot, the mystery spot, antique shops, and much more. Born and raised here, I can give you guidance of cool stuff to see and do- Santa Cruz is so much more then a Boardwalk (although I do love a good roller coaster)! 6.) There is about 10 places on the property to sit and read a book or magazines. Have you ever read a book without any noise? Take time to enjoy the solitude on the hill. 7.) If you like blooms, you'll like it here. It's a labor of love, as it is not easy (turns out deer, gophers, certain birds, turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks, etc love them as much as I do!) Word to wise: don't get me started on the topic, I can bore you with my "look at this flower" tour! But in all seriousness, there are some really awesome plants that I've found at local nurseries. Winter is not bloom spectacular- its too chilly at night. But the forest is always gorgeous and the views never rest. 8.) My veggie garden is cray. Seriously. I produce the veggies for a local restaurant and I just love tinkering in the yard. I have a full and sustainable ecosystem that I can share with you if you like those things. 9.) I love wine. Borderline oenophile and I am a (very) amateur winemaker. I have been to nearly every winery in the SLV mountains and county of Santa Cruz. Name a grape and I will suggest a winery (FYI, Pinots and Chardonnay in Santa Cruz Mountains blows the socks off Napa at a fraction of the price)! 10.) Many places in Santa Cruz Mountains are "rustic" or "charming". This is code for crusty and pretty antiquated. Our space is very well maintained and clean- like you would find in a really nice BnB. We hope you find this stay to be an experience and not just a "room". 11.) We have some very unique trees and history on this 20+ acre property. I have the largest redwood tree in Ben Lomond. This whole area, including this land, was logged in the mid 1800s. Without any regard for conservation, this whole area was clear-cut. Trees that were a thousand years old were chopped down via hand tools to build San Francisco and other towns. My tree was spared. It's height was cut short by being hit by lighting, so it was not worth the effort of cutting down. Today, the base of this tree is enormous and it is almost impossible to tell it was hit (but you will notice if you look from the driveway). Further, in the late 60's, the property was purchased by a bunch of hippies to start a nursery while they lived in tents (#mydream). They ran pipes via a year-round spring, and raised various types of plants they sold. Sometimes when I am cutting down weeds in different parts of the hill, I will find there old pipes protruding from the ground (which break my weed eater). But I don't get mad, because they also left some interesting plants. Throughout the year, some very stunning plants, bulbs, plants, shrubs and tress give some cool blooms. These are not indigenous plants. Because they are cared for by nature, some times they only come up once every three or four years, unlike my flowers that are babied and bloom continuously. 12.) We are working on an orchard. So far we have a couple peaches, apricots (my favorite variety that my grandparents grew), apple, lemon, pomegranates, blood orange, mandarin, nectarine, plum, lime, pluot, grapefruit... and adding! In a beautiful spot on the hill, complete with a view. There are two rooms listed on Airbnb, check out the other room on my profile! If this room is booked for the time you wanted, check the other listing, as it is less often booked (the other listing has a bigger bed for tall folks!). This is for booking the bedroom with the teapots and the white bed. The view is really spectacular, you can wake up to see downtown Felton and deer, and fall asleep with the distant city lights of Scotts Valley. The rooms we host in are the ones with the pinball machine, and the one with the pots on a shelf on the wall (see my other listing for the whole house or the pinball room). Area: 15 minutes from UCSC. 20 minutes from Beach. 10 minutes from Henry Cowell State Park. Ten acres. Gated driveway, house has state-of-the-art alarm (with outdoor video surveillance), for further ease of mind. Two huge decks for sunning, both with jaw dropping views of the mountains. Idyllic brick front porch with swing. Features full kitchen with nice appliances, two outdoor eating areas, two indoor dining areas, pool table with huge tv to keep up on games, TV with satellite in room, wireless internet. Sprawling lawns, various roses, heirloom tomatoes, even fresh organic eggs from my chickens. Parking is off street, and gated. Pick up some take-out, and sit outside on the decks and enjoy the the outdoor speakers on both decks and all living areas. Hot tub! White linens. We take a good bed seriously, and you will love this comfy queen bed (so many airbnb hosts overlook bed comfort!). My rule before I put a brand of sheets on a bed for my guests is to sleep on them first! You'll find the same on our bed because we love them! Windows lead to beautiful views. Next to large red bathroom. Dresser to place your things. 42" Hi-Def Sony TV with Dish Hopper service, view of woods, downtown Felton, CA, and Scotts Valley CA. Locally made "dancing pots" by respected artist. Typically I only have one extra room rented, meaning you would have exclusive use of the bath. However, I sometimes have friends or an additional airbnb guest, and in those times the bathroom would be shared. Many people ask about the bathroom situation. Yes, the bathroom would be shared if there is another guest, but we have three bedrooms and three full and spacious bathrooms. You will not feel bathroom deprived and I promise you will have ample opportunity to put on make-up for hours and hours! Sadly, we do not have a permit from the county to cook for you, so we cannot offer breakfast/meals. Our home is actually registered with the county to have people stay and for our garden- we have guidelines and rules we must follow or we are subject to being shut down. There are very few people who actually register and I now know why- restrictions, taxes and a lot of paperwork! Lol. We have video surveillance all over the property, except for the bedrooms and bathrooms. Guest AccessA lot of land, pool table room, dining area, two huge decks, all the things that make our place unique! Interaction with GuestsUp to you. We both work (someone has got to keep those bird feeders filled), so sometimes we do not see guests much. Other times, we have made amazing friendships! The NeighborhoodWe are really in a great spot. It is safe and residential, but we have a very very private 20+ acre lot-gated without a neighbor in sight. Despite the disconnected feeling you enjoy, we are 5 minutes from a fabulous grocery store, restaurants, and 10 minutes to the state park. Getting AroundYou will want a car. Or a horse. We have room to land a chopper too. Other Things to NoteThis place is all about the amenities, views, proximity to local activities and gardens. I know you will feel totally relaxed and at home. Our friends who leave here realize the benefit of staying with us- we are a house that we love to live in. We work to make beautiful, it is not a "rental".

The SpaceThe room is the master bedroom, it is a large room 11'x16', with a new queen bed, it has nice views, with a flat screen TV, Roku streaming media player and wireless internet. The bathroom is right outside your door and was redone in 2014 with a new sink, toilet and a large custom marble tiled shower with overhead and hand held showers. Guest AccessYour space is basically the private room, though you will have access to the living-room, dining-room and front yard. The kitchen is my working kitchen so I don't offer guest access except for the refrigerator and microwave. Interaction with GuestsI enjoy meeting my guests and I should be home during your stay. Guests usually have their time planned out for what ever reason they're here, so after showing you around, I usually keep to my self in the den in the back part of the house, but will be helpful if you need anything. I am a widower, so it is just me here, This was 'our house' that is why Patti is in the picture with me still. I make coffee in the morning and I will gladly cook a complimentary omelet (please see reviews) or scrambled eggs for you, served with fresh fruit and toast, or there are good restaurants nearby. The NeighborhoodThe house is in Felton in a quite, fairly sunny area 1/2 mile to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. There is an an ancient redwood grove there and awesome hiking through the redwoods. Roaring Camp is a popular destination for weddings, and summer concerts. You can take a Steam Locomotive to The Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz! Imagine no traffic. Roaring Camp Railroad which started operating in 1875 as the Santa Cruz and Felton Railroad, which brought tourists to the beach, was reopened in 1985 on the same route doing scenic and historical trips year round and Beach/Boardwalk trips daily June through September. Fall Creek State Park is a mile away (a beautiful hiking area) and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is 10 miles away as is the Monterrey Bay (whale watching has been spectacular the last few years) Don Quixote music hall is 4 blocks away across from New Leaf Natural Foods. The "Garden of Eden" area of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is a mile down Highway 9. Lots of things to do in any direction. Getting AroundThe house has plenty of parking. The SpaceThe beauty of the Santa Cruz mountains awaits you! Our home is situated exceptionally well, balancing accessibility with seclusion. Ten minutes to Felton's quaint main street, fifteen minutes to the beach, twenty minutes to downtown Santa Cruz, ninety minutes to San Francisco up scenic Highway 1. But when you are sipping tea or a beer on the porch, you'll hear nothing but the hummingbirds and the wind in the trees. We have two bedrooms for rent in our home. This listing is for one of the rooms - check our other listing if you have a larger party and would like to rent the other room as well, or you need other dates available. Both rooms have large, comfortable king sized beds with European-style goose down duvets and electric bed warmers for cold mountain nights. There is a large bathroom downstairs for your use, shared between the two bedrooms and stocked with shampoo and other toiletries. There is a coffee and tea bar where you can make drinks, but there is NO KITCHEN. The bedrooms are both downstairs, while the master bedroom and main living area are upstairs. The upstairs is private, and there is no kitchen access for guests. If we are at home and not too busy we like to make cookies or cocktails for our guests, or invite you to share breakfast with us. Excellent high-speed wireless access throughout the house, though occasionally it needs to be reset. Parking is not a problem. We are in the mountains and the drive can be difficult if you are not used to steep winding roads! It's dark at night and GPS doesn't always work. We share our home with a friendly dog and two cats. The dog is a calm Australian Shepherd /English Setter mix who doesn't bark or jump up. He enjoys new people and loves belly rubs. Our grey cat spends the majority of his time lounging and prowling outside, and the calico cat goes wherever she pleases :-) We are always trying to make our lifestyle more sustainable, and installed a full set of solar panels last year! The house is nearly 100% solar powered, and the hot tub solar-heated. In the winter we use a wood stove that burns what we've cleared from our land. We also line-dry our sheets and towels, compost, and recycle. Guest AccessWithin the house, the two bedrooms, bathroom, and coffee bar are "guest space". We keep the upstairs (kitchen, living room, master bedroom) private, but on occasion can accommodate special requests for kitchen use. The washer, dryer, clothesline, and iron are downstairs and you may use them. - we always encourage green living and use of the clothesline! It works wonderfully. The lower deck has chairs and tables, and guests can enjoy access to the garden, hot tub, and endless hiking trails through redwoods and past a natural spring. Our 8+ acres backs up to Henry Cowell State Park. Soak in the hot tub while enjoying an unobstructed view of the stars! Interaction with GuestsWe are often happy to hang out and chat, or to set you up and give you your privacy, as you prefer. Some of our best airbnb memories have been impromptu dinner gatherings in the garden under the mimosa tree - if you see us outside, come over and join us! We have lived all over the Bay Area and are full of good ideas for places to visit, and we love sharing stories. While we will be living above you, you won't always see much of us, as we can be busy - if we are not at home to welcome you, we will make our best effort to communicate and set everything up so you feel comfortable. We host with airbnb for the joy of it, because we love meeting interesting people and sharing our beautiful home with appreciative guests. The NeighborhoodBonny Doon is a charming community in the mountains, blending serious old-timers with vacation-home implants, and intentionally keeping itself "rural and natural." The people here consciously cultivate a sense of community and are genuinely friendly. The beauty of the Santa Cruz mountains is phenomenal. Our home is centrally located between several state parks: Big Basin, Henry Cowell (to which we are adjacent), Wilder Ranch and Waddell Beach. The beach town of Davenport is fifteen minutes away, and boasts a good restaurant (the Roadhouse), a locally-famous cafe/bakery (the Whale City), frequent live music, and a sprinkling of shops, all with Pacific views. The mountain towns of Felton, Ben Lomond, and Boulder Creek area also nearby and quaint. Nearby Santa Cruz is full of charms that include and transcend its tourist-spot reputation! Don't miss going to the beach - the boardwalk for tourist tradition, or colorful Capitola, or one of many secluded coves. Enjoy the chic Pacific Avenue Mall, an array of thrift/vintage shops, a vibrant music scene, and some great restaurants. Getting AroundThe bus line runs on Empire Grade just a quarter mile away down a private road, and you are welcome to investigate it. Having private transport is highly recommended, though. Parking is simple and abundant. The nearest airport is Monterey, which is quite nice, though it's small - SFO is just over an hour away. Rental cars are abundantly available there. Other Things to NoteWe do charge $20 extra per person over 2 people, including babies and children. The super-comfy king size bed is large enough to accommodate 2 adults and a child, but three adults can be a stretch! Sometimes we have a foam mattress available to put on the floor, but be warned that it's not the most comfortable. Please check with us if you plan on bringing a young child, as the rooms are right next to each other and we want all our guests to have a good experience!

The SpaceA lovely, comfortable single family home on a corner lot in a quiet semi-rural residential neighborhood. Across the road from a minimally used horse ranch, this dog-friendly home offers plenty of both sun and shade in an older, well-established area with lots of trees and greenery. Equipped with both rainwater tanks and solar panels, we conserve as much as we can without sparing comfort; our solar panels even handle heating the hot tub. We have reliable DSL Internet service and a household wireless network, with good cellular reception for keeping in touch with loved ones back home. Your room includes a comfortable queen-size bed and a full bath with both tub and shower. We are 3 miles from Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and Roaring Camp Railroad in Felton, 6 miles from Scotts Valley and a multi-screen movie theater, and 10 miles from Santa Cruz and its beaches, Boardwalk, great shopping and multiple sports and performance venues. A bus stop at the bottom of the hill (a ¾ mile walk) offers hourly access to all of the above venues. Although we are in a rural area, there are several good restaurants within a couple of miles including good Italian (2), Mexican (2), Chinese (2), German (1) cuisine, as well as "down home" American, Pizza with all fresh ingredients, at least 3 good coffee shops, 3 great breakfast and lunch places, and a couple of delis. You won't starve in this valley! Also, Don Quixote's restaurant offers great weekend evening entertainment featuring local area talent. Ask us for recommendations! Guest AccessQueen bedroom, private bath, internet access, access to hot tub on request. Access to the room is through a front door (one of two in the house) or through the room's French doors that open onto a private little patio with a path leading to the parking area. Interaction with GuestsWe interact minimally with guests unless they indicate they would like more contact. We often go out in the afternoons and evenings. We can recommend places to go and things to do, but for the most part our guests are on their own. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is pretty quiet and filled with trees and birds and other wild animals, despite the residential density, We are on a large corner lot on a hill, so have a commanding view of the area. Our road is a dead-end, so traffic is minimal. Getting AroundThere is a public bus that comes to a stop at the bottom of our hill, .7 mile away, once an hour. This bus goes into and out of Santa Cruz, with a stop at the Scotts Valley Transit station where one can transfer to other buses, including the Hwy 17 Express bus that goes to San Jose. We have ample parking on our property and off the street. If you are coming from either San Jose or San Francisco Airports, your best bet is a rental car or a limousine. We also have a local driver who can transport you for a modest fee, but our area is not conducive to being without a car (no bike lanes and no sidewalks). Other Things to NoteIf you are driving here, please be aware of the following: Some GPS systems will send you on roads that have for many years been gated and closed to through traffic. Our road can be accessed ONLY from Glen Arbor Road in Ben Lomond. If your GPS tries to send you up Covenant Road or Moon Meadow drive off Zayante Road, please see our directions!

The SpaceThis is a largest bedroom of a two bedroom rustic cathedral ceiling house surrounded by redwoods. The bedroom has a single bed and a futon couch, small desk, dresser, and closet; It is most comfortable for one person and minutes from the Mount Hermon Conference Center. Street parking at house. Many walking trails, Roaring Camp, Henry Cowell State Park, and Felton Covered Bridge Park within walking distance. Downtown Santa Cruz is a 15 min drive down Graham Hill Road. Guest AccessA guest will have access to the newly remodeled kitchen, living room, multi-functional deck with exercise equipment and an art table, and gas barbecue on the front side of the house. A life coaching option is available. It is a suitable retreat for writing, painting, project development, refocusing yourself, and just resting in a beautiful place. Interaction with GuestsGoal is to give you a comfortable and peaceful Mount Hermon experience. My guests are friends that I haven't met yet. Interaction with guest is designed around guest and the host's availability. Choices have been from light interaction to a full blown life coaching session; But always remembering that you are the guest and it's your vacation/retreat to enjoy, have fun, and grow as the unique person you are. The NeighborhoodThe surrounding forest has second growth redwoods about 100 feet tall and a hundred years old. Most houses started as seasonal thin walled houses as summer getaways from the hot Central Valley. Generally it is very quiet and peaceful. Occasionally, there is laughter of young people from nearby camps. Getting AroundAbout a 18 minute walk from the house is Felton Fair shopping center with a bus stop to take the No. 35 Bus to downtown Santa Cruz. Henry Cowell Redwood State Park is a short walk away and Mount Hermon trails are right outside the door. Other Things to NoteAt the present time, this space is designed to comfortably accommodate one person as a guest and no pets. Both these rules have provided a quiet space for both the guest and the host. I encourage a minimum of two day stays like a weekend because there is so much to see and do by walking locally and in Santa Cruz a 10-15 minute drive away. Week stays work well for art, writing, goal setting, and life planning projects and general resting in a peaceful forest area. Many guests have done all of the above plus cooking and trying new things. When the extra guest option is selected the futon is opened and made into a queen bed. I have a renter below so the evening should be kept relatively quiet. Talking in normal voices is OK in the living room.

The SpaceOur 14' trailer has a new memory foam mattress (49"x74"), with the original icebox (let us know if you'd like ice), sink, and built-in propane stove all in excellent working order. The trailer is hooked up to full power, including heat, and receives the house wifi signal. **Please note that the trailer does not have a private bathroom.** Guest AccessFull bathroom with tub can be accessed within the main house through the front door. Living space within the house is generally private, but gardens and property are available for guests to enjoy, including a hammock and a couch rough-sawn from a tree trunk down by the creek. A kettle barbecue and large fire pit are available for use on the back patio. Washer and dryer are available for your use on the back porch. When you stay in our trailer, expect to find a warm, laid back space with lots of old books, animals, sunshine, wine, music on the record player, and way too many kinds of tea. We love our home and our land and are excited to share it with you. Interaction with GuestsWe and our housemate Ben all work full time on varying schedules, so we will be in and out. On our days off we can often be found working around the property or in the garden. We will give you privacy but would also be happy to help with dinner recommendations or activity suggestions. Hiking maps and books about the area can also be found in the trailer. The NeighborhoodWhen staying in our trailer, you will have easy access to the best Felton and nearby Santa Cruz have to offer! Henry Cowell State Park: 5 min walk Monty's Log Cabin, closest bar: 5 min walk New Leaf Market, health food store: 15 min walk The Cremer House, best restaurant in Felton: 15 min walk Hallcrest Vineyards, closest wine tasting room: 20 min walk (4 min drive) Roaring Camp Railroads: 20 min walk (8 min drive) Santa Cruz: 20 min drive via Highway 9 Getting AroundAt 20 minutes, the closest bus stop (Graham Hill Rd. & Covered Bridge Rd. N) is only a bit of a walk. But from there you can take route 35 south to Santa Cruz, or north to Boulder Creek (including Big Basin State Park). This bus can also take you to the Scotts Valley Transit Center, where you can catch the route 17 express to the San Jose Diridon train station and the greater Bay Area. There is some room for additional parking in our driveway, so let us know if you will be coming in two cars and we can accommodate you. Uber is not very useful up here in the mountains, so I wouldn't suggest trying to make it part of your game plan. Other Things to NoteWhen arriving, please pull into the first entrance to our circular driveway, parking space for guests is to the trailer's left as you enter, next to the 1947 Dodge truck. For safety on our curve, it is best to pull all the way around the driveway when exiting, and leave out the upper entrance. In the winter, things may get rough up here in the mountains. Please make sure to check the weather report in advance and plan accordingly.

You will not be expected to interact with them if you don't want to, but they will be in the adjoining yard and you will see them and possibly hear them. They are friendly.
