The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and can advise guests on routes, trails and popular must-see heritage and cultural locations in both Fermanagh and the cross border region, as well as how to get to the best get-away-from-it-all beauty spots. A fishing boat with engine and bicycles can be hired. Bellanaleck village and marina are two miles away on the shores of Lough Erne. There are two local pubs half a mile away, and the ever popular McNeans Bistro is six miles to the west [advance booking essential]. Arney is equidistant from all the major airports in the northern half of Ireland - an hour and forty five minutes by car from Belfast City, Belfast International, Dublin, Knock and Derry airports. Guests will be able to make the house their home as they enjoy exploring County Fermanagh and everything it has to offer. As a guest you are free to relax, roam the gardens, feed the chickens or sit back and relax in front of your choice of three fireplaces with a good book and a glass of wine.                 Derrygiff Cottage is a family-run self catering property on a working farm in the heart of the spectacular Fermanagh Lakelands. This warm, bright, comfortable and well-equipped cottage sleeps eight people (plus two cots) in four spacious bedrooms - one kingsize with en suite, one double, two twin bedrooms, a large family bathroom and big kitchen and living area, with plenty of dining and sitting space for everyone. Oil fired central heating and a cosy wood burning stove. Freeview flatscreen television/DVD and free WiFi connection. The cottage is all on one level and is wheelchair accessible and suitable for those with limited mobility. It has its own private garden area and a patio and BBQ area with garden furniture, and plenty of parking. While we are in a peaceful rural location, with beautiful 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside, we are only 4 miles from Enniskillen and close to many tourist attractions. Derrygiff is ideally situated for walkers and fishermen, and we have special facilities for fishermen including a large bait and tackle shed and washing and drying facilities for larger items. We can also cater for those wishing to bring their own horses on holiday with stabling and grass livery available. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but please do let us know in advance if you are bringing any. All bed linen, tea towels and hand towels are provided, and bath towels are available on request. Our prices include central heating and electricity, so there are no meters to feed, and logs for the wood burning stove. We are an easy 2 hour drive from Belfast and Dublin. Our house is a large 3 storey town house which dates back to approx 1890 and the room is very spacious and comfortable. Guest AccessFree WiFi, shared bathroom with one one other room, the bathroom is right beside your room. Tea, coffee and toast you can help yourself to this in our kitchen. You may also bring some things to leave in our fridge if you wish. Please advise us at the time of booking a rough idea of what time you would like to check in. An earlier check in can be arranged on request. Interaction with GuestsWe can offer lots of advice on restaurants, bars, tourist attractions, events and bookings. Although we have more free time to spend with guests at the weekend as we both work. The NeighborhoodWe love the neighbourhood here because everything is walking distance and there is a large green park area across the road which is lovely to feed the ducks or take a boat trip from. Just around the corner is Enniskillen Castle which also has a stunning lakeside boulevard walk. These are just a few things, the list goes on. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is very spacious with 2 double beds, Bedroom 2 with 2 singles (this arrangement can be altered by prior notice to owners) Bedroom 3 a single room. There is a large family bathroom, which has been recently refurbished. Downstairs is very spacious with a large family kitchen and dining area with a sun drenched snug perfect for a quiet afternoon read. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble drier plus all the other equipment expected in a 4-star approved property. There are two family sitting rooms the main sitting room is equipped with Freeview TV and DVD player and a wide selection of DVDs, family books and games. The smaller sitting room is equipped with Playstation games counsel and a selection of games. There is ample on street parking and a lovely BBQ area with all equipment supplied. This is a quiet residential area ideal for a peaceful family holiday.

Situated in the Golf Village of the 5 Star Luxury Lough Erne Golf Resort and Spa, this Fisherman's Cottage overlooks Castle Hume Lake and is a mere 3 minute walk from the Hotel, 1 minute from the first tee and just 40 metres from the 4th fairway of the first ever Nick Faldo designed golf course in Northern Ireland. The cottage is finished and furnished to the highest possible standard with an emphasis on luxury, relaxation and some special extras! Patio doors from the fully fitted kitchen lead you to a BBQ area, with six seater garden table and gas BBQ, from where you can watch the Faldo Course golfers display their skills! The kitchen also boasts a cosy seating area with gas fire and 27" plasma TV. A separate utility room houses washing machine and tumble dryer. With sumptuous leather sofas, crystal chandeliers, silk curtains, "50 inch plasma TV", a well stocked bookcase and gas fire, the upstairs lounge gives a wonderful elevated view of the resort and is a fabulous private setting in which to relax after dinner. With both a twin and a double bedroom downstairs next to the main bathroom, the large master bedroom upstairs has an en suite with separate dressing room and also houses a “40 inch plasma TV” viewing area. The dressing room comprises a seated vanity area with mirror, hair dryer, straighteners, small fridge, kettle, tea and coffee. The cottage is all on one level and is wheelchair accessible and suitable for those with limited mobility. It has its own private garden area and a patio and BBQ area with garden furniture, and plenty of parking. While we are in a peaceful rural location, with beautiful 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside, we are only 4 miles from Enniskillen and close to many tourist attractions. Derrygiff is ideally situated for walkers and fishermen, and we have special facilities for fishermen including a large bait and tackle shed and washing and drying facilities for larger items. We can also cater for those wishing to bring their own horses on holiday with stabling and grass livery available. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but please do let us know in advance if you are bringing any. All bed linen, tea towels and hand towels are provided, and bath towels are available on request.
