The SpaceWe have 2 bright and clean double bedrooms for our guests, in our modern, newly renovated 3 bed 2 bath house in Finchley...Fantastic location! We are situated on a quiet, and pretty street, but only a very short walk to lively high street shops, bars restaurants, and 24 hr supermarket...3 mins walk to Finchley Central tube station, and all busses, including night bus which goes right into Central London...From the tube station, it takes just 15-20 mins to Central London. We have a beautiful, and modern open plan kitchen/living room, with skylight..The double patio doors lead into our private and attractive garden, with furniture and BBQ...This is something we love to enjoy with our guests, who always seem to become good friends!! ....WiFi is included, and our lounge area features "state of the art", 3D/HD TV! Shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, sheets and towels included..There are fabulous parks and walking trails nearby, as well as historic sights such as Barnet Church, and Highgate Cemetary. Also a short tube ride to famous Camden Market.. The NeighborhoodFinchley has an 'arty vibe' and the Arts Depot which is only a few minutes walking distance, is a hub of comedy, music, drama and art in the area. Notable people who have lived here include : Charles Dickens lived here when he wrote Martin Chuzzlewit (1843) after a trip to the United States, Comedians such as Spike Milligan (Goons) and Eric Morecambe (Morecambe and Wise Show) also lived here, as did Harry Beck (the designer of our famous London Underground Map).Actors, comedians, artists, musicians, writers and journalists still reside in Finchley. Down in East Finchley The Phoenix Cinema is an 1930's Art Deco building is one of the oldest cinemas in the UK and was voted as the best single screen cinema in London.There are also plenty of activities for the kids at the Finchley Leisure Centre including Bowling, Swimming and Cinema.Arriving back at the station of Finchley Central from a trip into the centre, one has a feeling of calm and serenity. Yet within a few minutes from our house we still have a choice of restaurants ranging from Japanese, Italian, Thai, Turkish, Chinese, Persian, Indian, Azerbaijani, Greek and not forgetting a Fish and Chip Shop. Not too far away there is an attractive country pub that serves a good old traditional Sunday Roast and there are several more pubs with to choose from. Cafes and Takeaways range from the big chains to the more independent local variety. We have bookshops, clothes shops, an old fashioned sweet shop, bakeries, chemists, banks with ATM machines, a quirky gift shop and Spas for a bit of pampering.We also love the fact that The Northern Line (Finchley Central is on this line), takes us directly to many of the interesting places in the centre, without having to change trains and as an extra bonus its normally easy to get a seat at Finchley Central.The Northern Line goes directly to Camden Town for the market (15mins), Highgate for Hampstead Heath and Highgate Cemetery(10mins), Tottenham Court Road (20mins) and Leicester Square (25mins) for Theatre Land and Oxford Street Shopping, Charring Cross (30mins) for The National Gallery, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace, Embankment (40mins) for The South Bank and Royal Festival Hall and London Eye. Guest AccessThe whole house and garden is available for your use except for one cupboard in the master bedroom which will be locked. A separate built in guest wardrobe is available. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as you like. We won't get in your way but if there's something we can help with, we're more than happy to. The NeighborhoodTemple Fortune High street is 5 minutes away, giving you access to two small but high quality supermarkets (Waitrose and M&S) as well as other amenities including 3 chemists, various cafes and restaurants (we can tell you our favourite restaurants when you arrive). Hampstead Heath, probably London's finest open space is 10 minutes away. Great for an afternoon stroll, you can also stop by the Spaniards Pub for a drink or lunch. Recently renovated Kenwood House an English Heritage property is also well worth a visit if you like your history (or just good tea and cakes). Camden Town is about 20mins by bus/tube if you want something a bit more lively. Clubs, pubs and famous music venue The Roundhouse will keep you busy. Getting AroundLocal buses will get you to either Golders Green or East Finchley in 5-10mins. From there it's 20mins to central London. Getting Around24-hour bus no. 102 stops just outside the house and within 10-minute walk there are other buses to central London.       The SpaceWe are letting our lovely Finchley flat. The ground floor flat is ideal for a small family, with a communal garden and nearby parks. It's lovely and bright and has the following rooms -A main bedroom with a double bed and en suite bathroom (bath/shower) -A child's room with a toddlers bed -A living room with a pull out, double sofa bed. -A small study with a desk. -A main Bathroom (bath/shower) -A well equipped kitchen The area is residential with lovely streets and there is a beautiful park (Avenue House) within a 7 min walk. Finchley is full of cafes and shops, and has good links to town by bus and tube. We are situated 5 minutes walk from the bus stop, and from there it's a 5 minute ride on the bus to Finchley Central tube, or 10 minutes to Golders Green Tube which is one stop from Hampstead and it's Heath. Alternatively, you could walk to Finchley in 20 minutes. Golders Green tube is just one stop from Hampstead on the underground. We are also situated by the North Circular Road, giving good access to all of London by car and there is a parking space available as well as street parking. We have free Wifi, television, Apple TV and Hifi system.

It has great public transport link to all around the city specially central London, It takes just about 20 minutes from Finchley central station to the heart of London. Great homemade pasta and it's a Bring Your Own (BYO) alcohol restaurant. Vy Nam (Vietnamese) – Finchley Central. Delicious chicken/beef pho and noodle dishes. Two Brothers (Fish and chips) – Finchley Central. Restaurant and take away. We can recommend many other restaurants if you need any tips and we have plenty of delivery options if you want a night in. Getting AroundThe closest bus stop is around a 7 minute walk from the flat, located on Regents Park Road. You can take any bus from here to Golders Green, or even travel all the way to Victoria on the 82. In the opposite direction you will find Finchley Central, which is around 20 minutes' walk from the flat, or take any of the buses from the other side of Regents Park Road. From both Golders Green and Finchley Central stations you can get on the Northern line, part of the London Underground network. It takes approx 15-20 minutes to reach Kings Cross from Golders Green station.

She's friendly and helpful. The NeighborhoodFinchley Central is a diverse and wonderful neighbourhood. You can find delicious and busy restaurants from many different cuisines all within a three minute stroll and often closer than the tube. Getting AroundIt's just a 3 min stroll to Finchley Central tube station (2 min hustle if it's raining!) on the Northern Line. Via tube it is 13mins to Camden, 17mins to Euston and 18mins to KingsX. Should you wish to be out later, the night bus runs from central London all the way back to the bus stop immediately outside the flat which is amazingly helpful in the early hours. From the stop on the other side of the road, buses go direct to Golders Green and all the way to Victoria if you prefer travelling with daylight outside your windows.
