The Trinity Ranch Cabin is located on a private 1,000 acre working ranch in the Wet Mountains. It was formally owned by the Abbey in Canon City, served as a children's camp and the cabin was used by the Monks as a retreat. The ranch is adjacent to the San Isabel National Forest. The ranch offers numerous hiking/riding trails, old homestead sites, an Indian cave (excavated by the Smithsonian). a small private lake stocked with rainbow trout, and an outdoor chapel. Additional hiking/riding trails are near by in the San Isabel National Forest, Buelah Mountain Park and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
The Arkansas River is nearby and offers great fly fishing and level 5 river rafting. Florence, Colorado is 15 minutes away and is called "The Antique Capital of Southern Colorado". A Gary Player golf course is 10 minutes from the ranch.
