The SpaceSPRING & SUMMER USERS: Hike, fish, bike, relax! The lake out your door has bluegills, crappies, bass and northerns. It is also alot of fun to swim and snorkle. Walleyes can be found on the nearby Menomonie River (public boat ramp 5 miles away) and the Spread Eagle Chain (public boat ramp 3 miles away) supports all water sports as well as endless fishing opportunities. Many other beautiful lakes nearby as well as rivers (wonderful tubing on the Pine River). The Nicolet Nat'l Forest has many miles hiking and biking trails. LaSalle Falls is a must see!
HUNTERS - ov(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) acres of public land (Nicolet Nat'l Forest, Spread Eagle Barrens, County lands) in Florence County open to hunting. Excellent deer hunting! Deer gun and bow hunting weekends still available (including opening weekend of deer season).
SKIIERS/SNOWBOARDERS - 3 ski hills within 30 mins (Pine Mountain, Keyes Lake and Ski Brule) and others within striking distance in the UP (Marquette Mountain, Blackjack, Porcupine Mountain, Powderhorn, and Indianhead). XC ski the 9 mile groomed Lauterman Trial in the Nicolet NF only 15 minutes away. Other trails nearby (Lake Emily, Whisker Lake Wilderness Area, etc.).
SNOWMOBILERS - Montgomery Lake Road is a designated snowmobile route and provides access to 180 miles of groomed trails. Many more - only 7 miles to Michigan! Two car attached (empty) garage available for overnight storage and repairs.
ICE FISHERMAN- 23 acre Lake Montgomery is right out your door (panfish, northerns, bass). 106 other lakes in Florence County to explore!

Be it hunting, fishing, summer sports, winter sports, enjoying the wilderness quietly, exploring the area's mining history, etc. we can help out. However, you are welcome to enjoy your private grounds all on your own, just the way you want to.
We have our own vacation property and may not be in the area when you are there, so we have arrangements in place for a manager who lives nearby to help you with any needs.
