The SpaceMy three bedroom two bath historic cottage built in the 1860s is right off the Natchez Trace, a block from the town square and across the street from Seasoning's restaurant. Rumor has it that Harvey House is the second oldest house in town. Relax and dream about the old days from the swing on the front porch!
The house has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, guest room has a queen, and there is a twin bed in the smallest bedroom. Perfect for a solo traveler, a couple, or a couple plus one, or a couple of couples.
Although perfectly relaxing and fun for adults, it's not too toddler or pet friendly. (Sorry kids and pups!) Guest AccessBooks, books, and more books. As an admirer of the great Southern author, Eudora Weltey, you'll have lots of her stories to keep you company, as well as many other books of famous Southern authors. Fix a glass of tea (spiked or not), grab a book and head to the porch. Interaction with GuestsI LIVE to host and will tell you everything you need to know about the house and town if you want. Otherwise, I'll let you settle in and enjoy the space without interruptions. The NeighborhoodIf you get bored, feel free to tour my mother's beautiful garden across the street. She'll be glad to give you a tour. If you walk out the front door and turn left, you'll hit the town square. For food and drink, I suggest Outfielder's Sports Bar. They have a great burger. If you want to shop, there's several little boutiques: Claude's, Massey's, Dakota Rose, Amanda's. Also, the Natchez Trace is close by and nice for a slow peaceful drive. Need booze? Check out The Hive on Hwy 35. Getting AroundNo public transit, but from the house, you can walk to the town square for shopping and dining. Other Things to NoteI keep the coffee in the freezer!
