The SpaceThe city of Franklin is popular for Civil War history buffs, antique and boutique shopping, and nature lovers. My home is minutes from Brownland Farms, a few miles from the New Approach School for Jewelers and the Dark Horse Institute for audio recording. I am located close to all the historic areas, shopping areas, and the natural beauty sites of Franklin, Tennessee.
This large home is situated on 3/4 acre in an older neighborhood of Franklin, and is 30 minutes away from the busy city of Nashville. It is a quiet and comfortable home with a large yard and gardens to enjoy. It is lovely to sit and enjoy a morning coffee and watch the birds that visit my feeders. Right behind my home there is a large park with a bike / walking / running route that will take you to the historic part of Franklin. A public golf course is within walking distance. There are a variety of restaurants, shopping, and music options nearby. Saturday morning in downtown Franklin, it is fun to enjoy the local Farmers Market and then enjoy a great breakfast at one of the local restaurants.
The private guest room and private bathroom available are located on the bottom floor and look out to the large back yard. There is a comfortable futon bed on a platform, up off the floor and guests are welcome to use the kitchen for light snack preparation and also have use of the other common areas of the home. My rooms are located upstairs.
If you have more than 2 in your party I can provide additional sleeping space in the entry room (not a private room) with a queen sized fold-out sofa and additional space in the living room on an inflatable airbed. These accommodations would only be available for one group. Children under 6 years old (maximum 2 children) who stay in the guest room with their parents are not charged extra.
