The SpaceOur home known as Gatherings Guest House is very spacious, beautifully decorated, warm and inviting on the main (ground level) that is wheel chair accessible with lovely ramps flanking the main entrance to the driveway to the 1300 square foot patio deck. Each bathroom has a powder room and the house has a large main spa with large walk in shower, walk in sit down tub heated floors etc. The outside experience is wonderful enjoying the view of the beautiful Saint John River Valley while having a glass of wine, BBQ-ing or just enjoying the beautiful landscape and gardens. The home and kitchen are fully equipped for you to prepare meals just pick up your fresh food, spices, oils, salt, peppers, sugars etc. await you.You will have access to the main house and all the wonderful amenities available here at "Gatherings Guest House"; an amazing kitchen with professional appliances, a beautiful spa, and lovely laundry room complete with a great supply of linens (towels); a computer business centre and/or a wonderful space for crafts, puzzles, quilting or activities of all kinds. The large desk can also be used for buffets it is 11 feet long and 5 feet wide so it will hold lots of goodies for gatherings.
We also have a separate table that can be used for card games or as a secondary table (it pulls out for 8) for extra dining for friends and family. Guest AccessAccess will be very easy for you 24 hours a day with our numeric access pass the code is issued to you upon arrival. With this you don't have to worry about loosing keys or leaving them on the counter and you check in 24 hours a day, arrive at your convenience. We are walker, wheelchair friendly for your guests who may visit.
You also have access to the wonderful grounds here at Gatherings we have; a wonderful 1300 square foot ground level deck with BBQ's, propane fire pit, deck furniture, lovely landscaping and flower gardens. The NeighborhoodWe call our home Gatherings Guest House is located on the beautiful Saint John River Valley just a few minutes from Fredericton, New Brunswick's capital. The views along the Saint John River Valley are lovely our home is situated on a 1 1/4 acre lot so there is lots of room and open space to relax and enjoy the property and outdoors and our neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. Being the capital of the province our city has no industrial manufacturing so our air is very fresh and clean for you to enjoy while you relax on your journey and stay with us.

We always recommend everyone lock their car and the house for your safety although safe we always lock everything. Getting AroundYou require a car to travel around the area you are slightly out of the city.
The Trans Canada trail is just across the street you are able to drive your bicycle, walk or run the trail literally goes across Canada, however good to know if you head down river (to the left from the driveway) you can bicycle to town in about 15-20 minutes the walking trail, many bicycle on the main road as well, please be safe. Other Things to NoteWe are geographically positioned between the centre of the city which is a 14 minute drive to down town and our beautiful provincial park called Mactaquac with swimming, a marina for boats and an 18 hole golf course just 10 minutes away. Up river about 20 minutes we have a historical property called Kings Landing an amazing day trip a fully functioning village from the 19th century with daily activities in every working house hold and workshop; blacksmith, barrel makers, yolk makers from oxen, straw braiding, baking, cooking, candle making, knitting, dying wool to be spun etc. An hour and a half drive will take you to the coast of St. Andrews a stunning historical sea side town filled with artisans, whale watching, harbour tours, wonderful shopping, and another gorgeous golf course! With many more wonders to see in downtown Fredericton this location is a wonderfully peaceful and beautiful location for your visit!
